    Connecting Science with Story Tale: How Sainsmatika Story Tale Book Decrease Science Anxiety of 4th Graders Student

    This study investigating the effectiveness of using Sainsmatika story tale book towards student science anxiety. The study were an experimental research with pretest-posttest control-group design, involving 122 fourth-grade students in one of the district in Indonesia. Characteristically, this research employs quantitative data which were collected from the questionnaire results regarding science anxiety. The data were analyzed using statistical methods to calculate the values and determine the frequency as well as the mean of pretest and posttest scores in control and experimental classes. To determine the effectiveness of using fairytale books to reduce students’ science anxiety, the one-way analysis of ANOVA was used with a significant difference at the level of Sig < 0.05.  The results of this study reveal that the use of sainsmatika-based fairytale books is effective to reduce science anxiety of the fourth-grade students with significancy 0.00 (<0.05)

    Dalam pembelajaran, diperlukan sebuah wadah berupa bahan ajar atau alat bantu ajar yang dapat memudahkan pendidik dalam menyampaikan materi di abad 21 yang menggunakan teknologi sebagai penunjang pembelajaran. Bahan pembelajaran harus berisi tidak hanya teks, tetapi juga elemen yang mampu menarik perhatian istilah-istilah penting dan terus memotivasi peserta didik dengan tetap berorientasi terhadap kompetensi yang ingin dicapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa modul elektronik yang telah dikategorikan layak untuk diujicobakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan DBR atau Design Based Research. Namun, pada penelitian ini tidak melakukan uji coba pada peserta didik dikarenakan keterbatasan waktu, tenaga, dan&nbsp;&nbsp; sumber&nbsp;&nbsp; daya. Oleh karena itu&nbsp;&nbsp; pada tahap&nbsp;&nbsp; uji coba dan refleksi tidak dilaksanakan. &nbsp;Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan studi literatur. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner berbentuk rating scale yang diujikan kepada ahli media dan ahli materi menggunakan skala likert. Hasil perolehan penilaian pada validasi ahli media mendapatkan skor 91,6% dan ahli materi mendapatkan skor 91% dengan kategori sangat layak. Dengan kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan e-modul dinyatakan layak diujicobakan pada pembelajaran

    ANALISIS MISKONSEPSI KONSEP FOTOSINTESIS SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi konsep fotosintesis serta mengidentifikasi factor penyebab miskonsepsi pada konsep fotosintesis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 23 orang siswa kelas V SDN 1 kawalu. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari tes serta wawancara. Data tes akan diolal menggunakan Rasch Model. Hasil dari penelitian ditemukan beberapa miskonsepsi, miskonsepsi paling banyak berapada pada konsep letak klorofil dalam tanaman, cahaya yang dibutuhkan dalam proses fotosintesis serta proses fotosintesis pada tanaman berdaun selain hijau. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara ditemukan beberapa penyebab miskonspsi diantaranya pra-konsepsi yang tidak sesuai konsep, kurangnya media pembelajaran serta proses belajar yang monoton

    PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN E-MODUL INTERAKTIF BERBASIS EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT TOPIK KONSERVASI TANAMAN HERBAL DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    This development research aims to produce electronic teaching materials (E-modules) based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) on science learning on the topic of herbal plant conservation as an interactive and independent supplementary teaching material for elementary school students. This development procedure uses DBR adopted from the Reeves Model, involving research subjects as many as 20 grade IV students in one of the public elementary schools of Tasikmalaya Regency. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observations, documentation and questionnaires. The feasibility of this ESD-based interactive e-module has been validated by material experts and media experts and has been tested on students through a four-category scale assessment. The results showed the feasibility of e-modules from the results of expert validation, namely, (1) Material expert validation obtained a presentation score of 99.10%, (2) Validation of learning media experts of 95.61% with a very feasible category. As well as obtaining e-module feasibility results based on student responses of 82.55% with categories suitable for use. Thus, ESD-based interactive e-modules are feasible to be used as a learning supplement for learners

    Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik (E-LKPD) yang memfasilitasi berpikir kritis siswa pada materi energi telah banyak dikembangkan untuk digunakan di kelas IV SD, namun belum banyak E-LKPD yang berbasis SDGs terutama poin ke-7. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah untuk menciptakan produk E-LKPD berbasis SDGs poin ke-7 yang memfasilitasi berpikir kritis siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix methods. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&amp;D (Research &amp; Development) dan model pengembangannya yaitu model ADDIE dengan tahapan &nbsp;yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu tahap analysis, design, dan development. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar validasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Pengembangan E-LKPD ini melibatkan ahli materi, bahasa dan media sebagai bentuk penilaian validasi layak atau tidaknya produk yang dikembangkan untuk diterapkan di sekolah dasar. nilai validasi aspek materi adalah 84% (sangat layak), nilai validasi aspek bahasa 76% (sangat layak), nilai validasi aspek media 95% (sangat layak) dan mendapatkan skor keseluruhan rata-ratanya adalah 85% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan produk E-LKPD berbasis SDGs poin ke-7 ini sudah termasuk dalam kriteria valid dan layak. Sehingga dapat diimplementasikan di kelas IV SD.     Analisis kebutuhan media pada pembelajaran teks eksplanasi di SD

    Abstract Indonesian language subjects, especially explanatory text material, are compulsory lessons for elementary school students listed in the 2013 curriculum. Explanation text learning activities require careful planning of learning activities in order to achieve the desired learning objectives. Achieving learning objectives can be achieved if the teacher is able to choose the right learning methods and media. This study aims to reveal the need for media in learning explanatory text in grade V elementary school. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and observations at one of the elementary schools in Ciamis Regency. The results of the research based on the results of interviews and observations show data that there are limitations to learning media such as only using teacher and student thematic books in the learning process and using newspaper media. In addition, students prefer visual learning with play learning methods. Therefore, it is necessary to develop learning media on explanatory text material in accordance with these characteristics. Keywords: Explanation text, Learning media, Grade V students. &nbsp; Abstrak Mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia terkhusus materi teks eksplanasi menjadi pelajaran wajib bagi peserta didik sekolah dasar yang tercantum dalam kurikulum 2013. Kegiatan pembelajaran teks eksplanasi diperlukan perencanaan kegiatan belajar yang matang agar dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan. Pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai apabila guru mampu memilih metode dan media pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kebutuhan media dalam pembelajaran teks eksplanasi di kelas V SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui penekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi di salah satu SD di Kabupaten Ciamis. Adapun hasil penelitian yang didasarkan pada hasil wawancara dan observasi menunjukkan data bahwasannya terdapat keterbatasan media pembelajaran seperti hanya menggunakan buku tematik guru dan siswa dalam proses belajar serta menggunakan media koran. Selain itu, siswa lebih menyukai pembelajaran secara visual dengan metode belajar bermain. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajaran pada materi teks eksplanasi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik tersebut.     RANCANGAN MEDIA MINIATUR PLTB BERBASIS 7TH SDGS UNTUK MEMFASILTASI CRITICAL THINKING PADA MATERI ENERGI

    Learning by using tools in the form of media is one way to improve the quality and interest of students' learning. The use of learning media in schools is very limited, so media development in learning is needed. Researchers aim to use the development of miniature PLTB (Wind Power Plant) media based on the 7th SDGs to facilitate critical thinking on energy material, the media used is valid and suitable for use. PLTB media development uses the ADDIE method with several stages as follows: analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The products that have been developed are validated by media experts and material experts, data collection using a questionnaire by providing an assessment sheet by 1 media expert and 1 science material expert lecturer. The results of validation from media experts get a score of 77.33% which is included in the “Valid” criteria and for material experts get a score of 81.33% which is included in the “Very Valid” criteria. Thus, the miniature PLTB media that has been developed is suitable for use in learning science in elementary schools on energy material

    Developing STEM Learning Design with Mini Projector Media in Grade V of Elementary School

    The lack of innovation in process engineering and technology-based learning in primary schools results in suboptimal learning outcomes. Primary school education does not involve students directly in every learning process, leading to underdeveloped student competencies. One innovative learning approach that can be utilized by elementary school teachers is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. The objective of this research is to develop a STEM learning design product to make primary school education more meaningful. The research method employed is Educational Design Research (EDR), which consists of three phases: analysis and exploration, design and construction, and evaluation and reflection. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, documentary studies, and questionnaires. The subjects of this research are students from classes VB and VC at SDN 2 Pengadilan Kota Tasikmalaya. After conducting two trials of the STEM learning design, it was found that the developed learning design is valid, practical, and suitable for use in primary schools. STEM education can serve as an alternative for teachers to implement learning processes that involve engineering and technology, thus meeting the demands of 21st-century skills&nbsp;for&nbsp;students
