Thermal effects on the resonance fluorescence of doubly dressed artificial atoms

In this work, robustness of controlled density of optical states in doubly driven artificial atoms is studied under phonon dissipation. By using both perturbative and polaron approaches, we investigate the influence of carrier-phonon interactions on the emission properties of a two-level solid-state emitter, simultaneously coupled to two intense distinguishable lasers. Phonon decoherence effects on the emission spectra are found modest up to neon boiling temperatures ($\sim 30$ K), as compared with photon generation at the Fourier transform limit obtained in absence of lattice vibrations (zero temperature). These results show that optical switching and photonic modulation by means of double dressing, do not require ultra low temperatures for implementation, thus boosting its potential technological applications.Comment: Submitted versio

Diseño de una estrategia administrativa para aumento del potencial financiero de las Organizaciones Empresas del sector de la construcción en Colombia cuya información financiera se encuentra publicada en la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia

Por medio del presente trabajo se establecieron una serie de indicadores financieros de las empresas del sector de la construccion registradas en la pagina web de la Super Intendencia Financiera de Colombia, para analizar en que forma la utilizacion de los recursos genera rentabilidad apara los accionistas o propietarios. El Analisis Envolvente de Datos (DEA) fue utilizado para medir la eficiencia de las organizaciones que componen el estudio y se determino cual de ellas es la que cuenta con mejores politicas de administracion financiera. Las razones financieras que permitieron medir el nivel de eficiencia de las organizaciones fueron: Razon corriente, Importancia del activo corriente, Indice de endeudamiento, Dias de activo corriente, Productividad del capital de trabajo, Rentabilidad del activo, Rentabilidad del patrimonio, Valor economico agregado EVA, EBITDA, Margen EBITDA, Palanca de crecimiento PDC, Productividad del activo fijo, Laverage total, Concentracion del endeudamiento a corto plazo, Endeudamiento total, Rotacion de activos totales. De acuerdo al ranking mostrado mediante el DEA se estructuro una matriz de pagos para las dos organizaciones mas eficientes y se obtuvo el valor de juegos mediante el analisis de la posibilidad asociada a cada estrategia planteada, estableciendo la probabilidad de cada organizacion de alcanzar los indicadores proyectados por el DEA y mejorar su nivel de eficiencia en la administracion financiera.By means of the present work a series of financial indicators of the companies of the sector of the construction registered in the page settled down Web of Super Financial Intendance of Colombia, to analyze in that way the use of the resources generates yield the shareholders or proprietors. The Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) was used to measure the efficiency of the organizations that compose the study and she was determined which of them is the one that counts on better policies of financial administration. The financial reasons that they allowed to measure the level of efficiency of the organizations were: Current reason, Importance of the current assets, Index of indebtedness, Days of current assets, Productivity of the capital of work, Yield of the active, Yield of the patrimony, Economic Value added EVA, EBITDA, Margin EBITDA, Handle of growth PDC, Productivity of the fixed assets, Total Laverage, Concentration of the short term indebtedness, Total Indebtedness, Rotation of total assets. According to the ranking shown by means of the DEA a matrix of payments for the two more efficient organizations was structured and the value of games by means of the analysis of the possibility associated to each raised strategy was obtained, establishing the probability of each organization of reaching the indicators projected by the DEA and of improving its level of efficiency in the financial administration

Diseño de programa de mantenimiento para empresa del sector cosmético basado en la estrategia de cero averías

Objetivo: Diseñar un programa de mantenimiento para la empresa del sector cosmético basado en la estrategia de Cero Averías. Metodología: El presente proyecto de investigación, planteó una metodología de investigación cuantitativa, de tipo estudio de caso y con enfoque de estudio aplicado a una industria manufacturera del sector cosmético, ubicada en Cundinamarca, Colombia, para la cual se diseñó un programa de mantenimiento basado en la estrategia de las cero averías. Este programa se establece por medio de una auditoria que permite conocer el grado de madurez de la gestión del mantenimiento, para posteriormente diseñar el modelo de intervención y así integrar los procesos de monitoreo, inspección y detección de las fallas en los equipos productivos de la compañía. Finalmente, se espera lograr un programa para la gestión del mantenimiento que defina acciones para mejorar el sistema del mantenimiento enfocado a las cero averías. Resultados: se estableció un programa de mantenimiento (preventivo, predictivo) para la empresa objeto de estudio bajo un modelo de gestión del mantenimiento integral, que permite identificar características para el análisis de falla y la estandarización de actividades rutinaria, en la búsqueda de las cero averías.Objective: To design a maintenance program for the company in the cosmetic sector based on the Zero Breakdown strategy. Methodology: The present research project proposes a quantitative research methodology, of the case study type and with a study approach applied to an industrial company. The area of study is a manufacturing industry of the cosmetic sector, located in the center of the country, Cundinamarca, Colombia. Where it is desired to design a maintenance program based on the strategy of zero failures. This program is established by means of an audit that allows to know the degree of maturity of the maintenance management to later design the model of intervention and thus to integrate the processes of monitoring, inspection and detection of the failures in the productive equipment of the company. Finally, it is expected to achieve a maintenance management program that defines actions to improve maintenance management focused on zero failures. Familia, religión y el joven rebelde en el cine de la postguerra. Un análisis de la sociedad estadounidense de los años cincuenta a través de la sociología de la cultura de masas

Algunos académicos, coma Edgar Morin o Gilles Lipovetsky, relacionan su aparición en la pantalla con el deseo de la juventud par ganar un espacio en la sociedad; de ahí que su imagen fuera asociada con el fenómeno de la llamada Generación Beat y con el movimiento cultural de los años sesenta. El presente trabajo apunta a otra dirección. En lugar de analizar lo que la representación cinematográfica del joven rebelde en aquellos años proyecta del futuro, se interesa por algunos elementos que recoge del pasado. En aquella representación se detectan importantes influjos de la religión protestante y una concepción tradicional de la familia; ambos estrechamente vinculados con las orígenes de la nación estadounidense. A raíz de esto, se plantea a manera de hipótesis que el contexto social de la época, que incluye la Guerra Fría y las altas tasas de delincuencia juvenil, motivó la presencia de los contenidos conservadores existentes en torno a la imagen del joven rebelde de Hollywood, siendo esta última una fuente de expresión de la angustia generalizada que suscitó la juventud en los Estados Unidos.In the 1950s the American cinema represented the young rebel for the first time. Some scholars, such as Edgar Morin or Gilles Lipovetsky, relate that arrival on screen to the desire of youth to win a place in society; hence, its image was associated with the phenomenon of the so-called Beat Generation and the cullurdl movement of the sixties. The present work points to another direction. Instead of analyzing what the cinematographic representation of the young rebel in those years projects from the future, it's main interest is in picking up some elements from the past. In that representation, important influences of the Protestant religion and a traditional conception of the family are detected; both closely linked to the origins of the American nation. As a result of this, it is hypothesized that the social context of the time, which includes the Cold War and the high rates of juvenile delinquency, motivated the presence of the existing conservative content around the image of the young rebel of Hollywood, wich the lattest, had being a source of expression of the generalized anguish aroused by youth in the United States.Licenciado en SociologíaPregrad

Actividad reproductiva en tres especies simpátricas del género liolaemus (reptilia: sauria: tropiduridae)

Machos y hembras de las especies simpátricas Liolaemus bibroni (ovípara), Liolaemus elongatus y Liolaemus ruibali (vivíparas) tienen actividad reproductiva parcial de otoño. Los machos son reproductivos entre otoño y primavera, período en el que las hembras son vitelogénicas; las hembras están grávidas en primavera y el parto/oviposición sucede al final de esta estación y verano temprano. Los ciclos reproductivos de machos y hembras no tienen un período de receso prolongado, y tienden a ser continuos. Se discute la incidencia de factores ambientales y endógenos en el patrón reproductivo parcial de otoño en especies de Liolaemus.Sympatric species Liolaemus bibroni (oviparous), Liolaemus elongatus and Liolaemus ruibali (viviparous) have partial fall reproductive activity for males and females. Males are reproductively active between fall and spring, females are vitellogenic especially during this season, they are gravid in spring and the oviposition/parturition occur at the end of spring and early summer. Reproductive cycles of males and females have not a long rest phase, and apparently are continuous. The incidence of  environmental and endogenous factors over the partial fall reproductive pattern in Liolaemus species is discussed
