    This research is done in Lamongan which located in countryside of Parengan, district of Maduran, sub-province of Lamongan. The effort that developed is sarung tenun ikat production. Target of this research is to identify requirement of consumer and know dominant factor which generate tendency of enthusiasm buy of consumer to sarung tenun ikat product. At this research, intake of sampel done by purposive and data collected through kuisioner counted 100 responden. Quisioner compiled in the form of Likert Scale and data analysed by using factor analysis. Result of research indicate that to identify attribute of quality is type of sarung tenun ikat, colour of sarung tenun ikat, accuration of jacquards of sarung tenun ikat, result of jacquards of sarung tenun ikat, materials used not easy to tear, and quality as according to price. most dominant factor is brand and quality. Which the included in quality factor and brand is 2nd attribute (color), 3rd attribute (accuration), 5th attribute (materials) and 8th (brand)

    Feminist Epistemology and The Search For Liberating Knowledge

    This paper discusses problems in dealing with masculinized knowledge and scientific enterprises, and seeks alternative epistemological strategies in achieving liberating and un-dominated knowledge production. A general problem with "mainstream" epistemology and philosophy of science from feminist perspectives is that the well accepted concept of knowledge and scientific practices derived from it deny the impacts of social and political dimension toward knowing activities and their results. Feminists observed that men and their masculinities have been reproducing their social and political domination into the practices and standard of objective knowledge. The paper takes on two questions. First, how masculinity as dominant social and political norm has influence the production of knowledge? Second, what epistemological strategies would allow the production of less dominating and liberating knowledge? Feminist theories of knowledge built on the belief that rational inquiry is social practice through which gender as cultural and political norms and reference give deep impacts toward knowing process and it results. A theory of liberating knowledge requires acknowledgement and acceptance of multiple methods and models of knowledge in accordance to specific situation of the knowing subjects. Through such epistemological understanding feminist theorists formulated epistemological strategies to reduce masculinity in the rational inquiries and well accepted science

    Abstract This research is intended to measure and analyze the company’s capability by four perspective Balanced Scorecard, identification and measure achievement of Critical Succes Factor in every perspective. This research is also using Analythical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine behalf wight every refuses fathom and aught perspective. The result of measurement shows that capabilility on year 2008 fiancial perspective: 3.162, customer perspective: 0.697, internal business process perspective: 0.696, lerarning ang growing perspective: 0.323. and on year 2009 fiancial perspective: 3.162, customer perspective: 0.697, internal business process perspective: 0.696, lerarning ang growing perspective: 0.323 is always consistent and stable and gets score 4.877 it means the capability is good

    ABSTRAK STUDI EVALUASI RUANG TUNGGU KEBERANGKATAN DAN KEDATANGAN DOMESTIK BANDARA INTERNASIONAL JUANDA SURABAYA Oleh : Rachmad Hidayat Ricky NPM : 0553010026 Bandara Internasional Juanda Surabaya memiliki peranan dan fungsi penting dalam sarana transportasi udara di Indonesia. Melihat kondisi ruang tunggu domestik khususnya yang kurang memenuhi syarat kebutuhan ruang tunggu dan fasilitas terminal yang ada. Maka dalam tugas akhir ini dilakukan evaluasi terhadap ruang tunggu keberangkatan dan kedatangan domestik, mengetahui kapasitas ruang tunggu, memperkirakan jumlah penambahan penumpang, mengetahui luasan dan fasilitas ruang tunggu yang ada sekarang masih dapat menampung penumpang hingga 5 tahun ke depan. Dengan adanya studi evaluasi ini diharapkan permasalahan yang ada saat ini dapat diatasi semaksimal mungkin. Tugas akhir ini dibuat dengan melakukan pendataan langsung ke lokasi (survey) dan melakukan pengambilan data kepada instansi terkait serta memperkirakan penambahan penumpang untuk 5 tahun ke depan, mengetahui kapasitas ruang tunggu untuk 5 tahun mendatang. Sedangkan untuk memperkirakan penambahan penumpang dan mengetahui kapasitas luasan ruang tunggu untuk menampung penumpang 5 tahun mendatang menggunakan perhitungan analisa regresi linier, rasio dan level of service dimana data penumpang per jam, per hari, per bulan, per tahun dan luas Bandara serta ruang tunggu mengacu pada data PT.Angkasa Pura I. Dari hasil perhitungan analisa regresi linier untuk penambahan penumpang 5 tahun kedepan sebesar 16.559.018 orang pada tahun 2016. Untuk mengetahui kapasitas ruang tunggu 5 tahun kedepan dapat diketahui dari penambahan jumlah penumpang yang terus miningkat setiap tahunnya, dari data 5 tahun terakhir tahun 2007 dengan jumlah penumpang 7.479.736 orang, tahun 2009 dengan jumlah penumpang 8.897.165 orang dan pada tahun 2011 mencapai 11.445.498 orang. Dari data penumpang eksisting yang terus bertambah dan hasil perhitungan Level of Service masing-masing gate sudah menunjukkan adanya antrian penumpang pada ruang tunggu domestik. Untuk menjawab apakah pada 5 tahun mendatang ruang tunggu masih dapat menampung penumpang, maka sudah dapat disimpulkan ruang tunggu yang ada tidak dapat menampung penumpang untuk 5 tahun mendatang.     The Influence of Leadership on Communications, Job Satisfaction, and Oganization Commitment in Bangking Industry

    The paper presents an analysis of the leadership effect, communication, and job satisfaction to  organizational commitment in the banking firm. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used to analyze the causality pattern of the involved variables. In addition, to measure the influence among the variables defined, survey method is implemented. The population used was all staff of state and private banks in East Java Area with 200 respondents. The study result shows that the direct effect of leadership gives significant positive impact to the organizational communication and organizational commitment. On the other hand, there is no significance impact of the leadership to the job satisfaction. There is no effect of indirect, positive significance of leadership on organizational commitment with job satisfaction intervening. There is no direct influence, the positive significance of leadership on organizational commitment by intervening organizational communication and job satisfaction

    The Influence of Service Quality, Religious Commitment and Trust on The Customers’ Satisfaction and Loyalty and Decision to Do The Transaction in Mandiri Sharia Bank Of Jawatimur

    This study tested the causal relationship of service quality, religious commitment and trust on customers’ satisfaction, loyalty and decision to repeat their transaction in sharia banking services. This research used quantitative approach to describe the causal relationship between the variables through hypothesis testing. The samples in this research are 160 respondents.  Structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to analyze this research. This research findings shows that the quality of service and customers’ trust, satisfaction and loyalty simultaneously influenced the decision to repeat their transaction in that banking service. The customers’ satisfaction and loyalty are intervening variables that linked the service quality and the customers’ trust with the decision to repeat their banking transaction. The religious commitment had insignificant influence toward the service quality; however, it had significant influence toward the loyalty and decision to repeat their banking transaction.Penelitian ini menguji hubungan kausalitas kualitas layanan, kepercayaan dan komitmen beragama nasabah terhadap kepuasan, loyalitas dan keputusan bertransaksi ulang  layanan perbankan syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bermaksud memberikan penjelasan hubungan kausalitas antar variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis. Jumlah sampel penelitian sejumlah 160 responden. Analisis yang digunakan adalah model persamaan struktural (Structural Equation Modeling atau SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan dan kepercayaan nasabah, kepuasan dan loyalitas secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap keputusan bertransaksi ulang  layanan perbankan. Kepuasan dan loyalitas nasabah menjadi variabel intervening yang menghubungkan kualitas layanan dan kepercayaan nasabah dengan keputusan bertransaksi ulang  layanan perbankan.
