Increased Capacity of the Understanding of the Concept and the Ability to Solve Problems Through the Implementation of the Model of Teaching Mathematics Realistic Based on Cognitive Conflict Students

This research aims at: 1) the influence of the implementation of the model of teaching mathematics realistic based on cognitive conflict students to the ability to understanding the concept and troubleshooting capabilities; 2) determine the larger capacity of the understanding of the concept through the implementation of the model of teaching mathematics realistic based on cognitive conflict junior secondary school students the City of Bengkulu. 3) determine the great improvement of the ability to solve problems through the implementation of the model of teaching mathematics realistic based on cognitive conflict SMP students Bengkulu City.To achieve the goal of this research is to apply Research Design pseudo experiments with research design Pretest-Postest Nonequivalent Control Group Design, with the test instrument the ability to understanding the concept and test the troubleshooting capabilities. The data has been analyzed using the test gains. Designing Verbal Message And Visual Media Of Quick Chicken

Quick Chicken currently exists on more than 8 islands, more than 17 provinces, more than 220 outlets. Compared to similar fried chicken outlets, Quick Chicken outlet designs are more attractive because they use the concept of selling in containers. The advantages of Quick Chicken are offering a menu that is a combination of traditional and western, in addition, Quick Chicken also offers larger pieces of chicken than its competitors, namely Hisana and Sabana. Currently Quick Chicken is experiencing a decline in sales. This happens because the promotion done has not been able to make the target audience aware and loyal. The question research is how to design verbal message and visual media as the solustion for the problem above. Semantics is used to define the verbal message, while advertising theory is used as the the grand theory of visual media. The methode used is qualitative descriptif. The result is as the recommendation design of the verbal message and visual media as the solution for the problem using AISAS. The conclusion is with the design of Quick Chicken promotion, it is hoped that being able to be a solution to identified problems, and it can also be a reference for similar problems as well. Karakteristik Briket Biocoal dengan Penambahan Sekam Padi dan Wax

Biocoal made by mixing Sub-Bituminous Tanjung Enim coal with rice skin biomass to make biocoal briquette that will have calorific value suitable for domestic consumption and also have a quicker initial burning time that has been a problem in applying briquette. The rice skin biomass was mixed in 10 gram – 50 gram compositions with 1 gram – 5 gram variations of wax to a fixed weight of 100 gram coal. The size of coal was also studied, which was 50 mesh, 70 mesh, 140 mesh and 220 mesh. The result shown that all briquettes had calorific values (5014 – 5891 cal/gram) that are in range of biocoal standard (5500 – 6000cal/gram)with a quicker initial burning time (2:35 – 16:58 minutes). Pengaruh Disiplin dan Komitmen Organisasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada Azo Florist Cianjur

The phenomenon that occurs the company is faced with the problem of employees how to make employees, to be able to work by showing good performance. One of the factors that affect employee performance is work discipline, besides that, another factor that can affect employee performance is organizational commitment. The purpose of this study was to determine the respondents' responses and the effect of discipline, organizational commitment on employee performance at Azo Florist Cianjur either simultaneously or partially. This research method is quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis. The number of samples is 50 employees and using a saturated sample. The results showed that employees' responses to discipline were not good, organizational commitment was not good and responses to performance were not good, then simultaneously discipline and organizational commitment contributed or influenced employee performance by 65.5% and the remaining 34.5% was contributions from other variables not included in the model proposed in this study. While the influence of the coefficient of determination partially, it is known that the effect of discipline on employee performance is 12.0%. Meanwhile, organizational commitment has a more dominant influence on employee performance by 53.5%

Analisis Kontribusi Pendapatan USAhatani Manggis terhadap Pendapatan Rumah Tangga Petani Manggis di Desa Cikalong, Kecamatan Sodonghilir, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat

Manggis merupakan salah satu buah unggulan Indonesia yang memiliki peluang ekspor yang cukup menjanjikan. Dari tahun ke tahun permintaan manggis meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan produksi. Di Indonesia, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya merupakan salah satu sentra produksi manggis terbesar. Desa Cikalong merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Sodonghilir dengan tingkat produksi manggis tertinggi. Seiring dengan peningkatan produksi manggis, hal ini juga didukung dengan peningkatan harga manggis sebesar 13% dari tahun sebelumnya. Namun, dibalik itu semua terdapat data yang bertolak belakang dimana angka kemiskinan tertinggi di Provinsi Jawa Barat yaitu di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya sebesar 15,60%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis pendapatan USAhatani, struktur pendapatan dan kontribusi pendapatan manggis terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Desain penelitian adalah kuantitatif explanatory dengan menggunakan analisis chi-square, analisis pendapatan USAhatani dan analisis kontribusi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Propotional Random Sampling dan diperoleh 36 petani manggis responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kontribusi manggis terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga yaitu sebesar 18% dari pendapatan total rumah tangga petani, sebagai penyumbang kedua terbesar setelah pendapatan non-farm, dan nilai RC ratio manggis mencapai 5,4,dengan asumsi umur pohon berkisar antara 15-25 tahun. Hasil analisis menggunakan chi-square menjelaskan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara jumlah pohon dengan besarnya kontribusi manggis. Blends of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber/poly (Vinyl Chloride): the Use of Maleated Anhydride Castor Oil Based Plasticizer

Recently, much attention has been focused on research to replace petroleum-based plasticizers, with biodegradable materials, such as biopolymer which offers competitive mechanical properties. In this study, castor oil was modified with maleic anhydride (MAH) to produce bioplasticizer named maleated anhydride castor oil (MACO), and used in nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR)/poly vinyl chloride (PVC) blend. The effect of MACO on its cure characteristics and mechanical properties of NBR/PVC blend has been determined. The reactions were carried out at different castor oil (CO)/xylene ratios, i.e. 1:0 and 1:1 by weight, and fixed CO/MAH ratio, 1:3 by mole. DOP, CO, and MACO were added into each NBR/PVC blend according to the formula. It was found that the viscosity and safe process level of NBR/PVC blend is similar from all plasticizer, however, MACO (1:0) showed the highest cure rate index (CRI). MACO-based plasticizer gave a higher value of the mechanical properties of the NBR/PVC blend as compared to DOP based plasticizer. MACO (1:1) based plasticizer showed a rather significance performance compared to another type of plasticizers both before and after aging. The value of hardness, elongation at break, tensile strength, and tear strength were 96 Shore A, 155.91 %, 19.15 MPa, and 74.47 MPa, respectively. A Systemic Functional Linguistics (Sfl) Analysis of Exposition Texts as Teaching Materials Written by Pre-service Teachers

The research is entitled A Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) Analysis of Exposition Texts as Teaching Materials Written by Pre-Service Teachers. This research aims at observing the teachers\u27 Subject Matter Knowledge competence by analyzing the coherence of analytical exposition texts written by three English pre- service teachers in a senior high school in terms of their schematic structure and theme system. To accomplish this aim, a qualitative research study design involving text analysis and interviews was conducted. It is found out that the pre-service teachers were able to make coherent text seen from Theme and Thematic Progression. Meanwhile, the results from interviews showed that they encountered the challenges. The first challenge was to make the text more relevant and coherent. That is, the main argument must be supported by the arguments which were written by the pre-service teachers. The second challenge was to distinguish between censorship and professional. Based on five categories as proposed by National Council of Teacher of English (2014), there was one category which could not be fulfilled by one pre-service teacher. Facial symmetry is correspondence of face components on the both sides of face, left and right of a dividing line or about a center or an axis. Most of the research use face component like eyes, nose and ears component to identify facial symmetry. In this paper we suggest to add mouth as another face component to increase accuracy in facial symmetry detection. The results of facial symmetry detection are used for authentication process, analysis in medical, psychology and anthropology scope. By using MATLAB 7.1 we develop a program that can analyze face,asymmetry or not with utilizing eigenvalue.
