Die Nutzung des wissenschaftlichen Publikationssystems : Ergebnisse aus dem Forschungsprojekt „Open Access in der Berufsbildungsforschung“

Das Forschungsprojekt „Open Access in der Berufsbildungsforschung“ (OABBF, Laufzeit: 1/2019–6/2021) des Bundesinstituts für Berufsbildung (BIBB) beschäftigt sich mit der Frage nach den technisch-strukturellen, politisch-normativen und wissenschaftssystem-immanenten Bedingungen für die Akzeptanz, Verbreitung und Nutzung von Open Access in der Berufsbildungsforschung. Vor einem wissenschaftssoziologischen und medientheoretischen Hintergrund wurde die empirische Datenbasis über einen Mixed-Methods-Ansatz generiert. Auf die Explorationsphase im Jahr 2019, die Gruppendiskussionen mit Autor*innen der Berufsbildungsforschung beinhaltete, folgte 2020 eine Onlinebefragung, die sich an rund 5.000 Autor*innen richtete. In diesem Beitrag werden ausgewählte Ergebnisse der Onlinebefragung vorgestellt. Die Ergebnisse skizzieren Einstellungen der Autor*innen zur Verbreitung und zur Nutzung von Publikationen. Außerdem werden Daten zu den Lesegewohnheiten der Befragten vorgestellt sowie zu den Informationsressourcen, die von ihnen im Kontext der eigenen wissenschaftlichen Arbeit genutzt werden. Die Ergebnisse zeigen: Sowohl bei der Verbreitung als auch bei der Nutzung und Recherche von Publikationen ist den Befragten der digitale und dauerhafte Zugriff auf Literatur wichtig. Bei der Nutzung von Literatur sind das Renommee, die Wissenschaftlichkeit und die unmittelbare Verfügbarkeit von Publikationen zudem zentrale Auswahlkriterien der Befragten. Open Access ist hingegen häufig kein Suchkriterium und bleibt für die Befragten tendenziell unsichtbar in ihrem Arbeitsalltag.The research project „Open Access in vocational education and training research“ (OABBF) at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) (running from 1/2019 to 6/2021) explores the technical and structural, policy-oriented and normative conditions as well as conditions inherent in the academic research system for the acceptance, dissemination and use of open access in vocational education and training research. Using a sociology of science and media theory back- ground, the empirical data used for the study was generated through a mixed methods approach. The exploration phase in 2019, which included group discussions with authors in VET research, was followed by an online survey in 2020, sent out to approximately 5,000 authors. This paper presents selected results from the online survey. The results uncover authorsʼ attitudes towards the dissemination and use of publications. In addition, data on the information resources used by the respondents in the context of their own academic work and on their reading habits are presented. The results show that the digital and permanent access to literature is important to the respondents for the dissemination of their own research as well as regarding the use and research of publications. When using literature, the reputation, scientific nature and immediate availability of publications are also central selection criteria for the respondents. Open Access, however, is often not a search criterion and tends to remain invisible to respondents in their everyday work

Effect of thermal depolarization on the poling‐induced domain texture and piezoelectric properties in Mg‐doped NBT‐6BT

Recently, poled Na₀.₅₀Bi₀.₅₀TiO₃‐BaTiO₃ (NBT‐BT)‐based polycrystalline materials have been characterized as possessing a high degree of poling‐induced domain texture in their remanent state. This finding is suggested to be the reason for their stable mechanical quality factor at high‐vibration velocity, making them promising candidates for high‐power applications. The materials in consideration are prone to self‐heating and thermal run‐away, particularly at slightly elevated temperatures. Therefore, this paper evaluates the temperature dependence of the poling‐induced domain texture of (Na₀.₄₇Bi₀.₄₇Ba₀.₀₆)TiO₃ (NBT‐6BT) doped with 0.5 mol% of Mg as compared to undoped NBT‐6BT. Its influence on small‐signal, large‐signal, and high‐power properties was investigated. To obtain a fundamental understanding of crystal structure, in‐situ synchrotron measurements were conducted as function of temperature to establish a relationship between structure and piezoelectric properties of both Mg‐doped and undoped NBT‐6BT materials

Multiple paternity in a viviparous toad with internal fertilisation

Anurans are renowned for a high diversity of reproductive modes, but less than 1% of species exhibit internal fertilisation followed by viviparity. In the live bearing West African Nimba toad (Nimbaphrynoides occidentalis), females produce yolk-poor eggs and internally nourish their young after fertilisation. Birth of fully developed juveniles takes place after nine months. In the present study, we used genetic markers (eight microsatellite loci) to assign the paternity of litters of 12 females comprising on average 9.7 juveniles. In nine out of twelve families (75%) a single sire was sufficient; in three families (25%) more than one sire was necessary to explain the observed genotypes in each family. These findings are backed up with field observations of male resource defence (underground cavities in which mating takes place) as well as coercive mating attempts, suggesting that the observed moderate level of multiple paternity in a species without distinct sperm storage organs is governed by a balance of female mate choice and male reproductive strategies

Visualisierungen und ihr Verhältnis zu didaktischen Zugängen zur Satzgrammatik – Eine theoretische und empirische Untersuchung grammatikdidaktischer Visualisierungen in Sprachbüchern des Deutschen als Erst‐, Zweit‐ und Fremdsprache

Welches Potential bergen visuelle Zugänge zur Satzgrammatik? Diese Frage ist von hoher fachdidaktischer Relevanz, wird Visualisierungen doch von Bildwissenschaften und Lehr-Lern-Psychologie eine epistemische Funktion zugeschrieben. Diese Studie bietet einen Überblick über grammatikdidaktische Visualisierungen in aktuellen Lehrwerken der Bereiche Deutsch als Erst-, Zweit- und Fremdsprache. Auf empirischer Basis werden acht Grundtypen grammatikdidaktischer Visualisierung bestimmt und ausgewählte Visualisierungen einer semiotischen Analyse unterzogen. Die Ergebnisse verdeutlichen, dass mit den Visualisierungen potentiell eine große Vielfalt von Zugängen zur Satzgrammatik eröffnet wird, sie zugleich aber auch Probleme bergen. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden Gütekriterien für didaktisch sinnvolle Visualisierungen formuliert

Der Baustein Sprachbildung: ein Lehr-Lern-Angebot für die inklusionssensible fachdidaktische Lehre

Die Autorin nimmt zunächst eine theoretische Fundierung des Bausteins vor und stellt heraus, weshalb sprachsensibles Unterrichten als ein immanenter Bestandteil inklusiven Unterrichtens verstanden werden muss, bevor sie entlang der einzelnen Durchführungsphasen die didaktischen Prinzipien des Bausteins erläutert. The relation of inclusion and academic language learning: An Insight into a Module on “Inclusive Academic Language Teaching” in the Context of the Research Project FDQI-HU [Qualification of Pre-Service Teachers at Humboldt-University Berlin in Inclusive Subject-Specific Didactics]

Die Lehrer_innenbildung steht aktuell vor der Aufgabe, unterschiedliche Querschnittsthemen curricular zu verankern und in der Lehrveranstaltungskonzeption zu berücksichtigen. Der Beitrag widmet sich der Verankerung zweier Querschnittsthemen – der Sprachbildung und der Inklusion – in ihrer Verknüpfung. Im Projekt Fachdidaktische Qualifizierung Inklusion angehender Lehrkräfte an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (FDQI-HU) wird Sprachbildung als immanenter Bestandteil inklusiven Unterrichts verstanden. Damit wird einem breiten Inklusionsverständnis Rechnung getragen. Vor diesem Hintergrund wurden im interdisziplinären Team inklusionssensible Fachdidaktik-Lehrveranstaltungen entwickelt, die Aspekte der Sprachbildung berücksichtigen. Für den Einsatz in unterschiedlichen Fachdidaktik-Seminaren wurden flexible Bausteine erarbeitet und erprobt, die sich an Inhalten zu Heterogenitätssensibilität, didaktischer und diagnostischer Kompetenz, Klassenführungskompetenz sowie der Sprachbildung orientieren. Der Beitrag stellt den Baustein zum Thema „Sprachbildung“ in den Mittelpunkt. Er wird im Kontext der Gesamtkonzeption vorgestellt, und es wird ein erster Einblick in die Evaluation seines Einsatzes gewährt; außerdem werden erste Implikationen für eine Verstetigung des beschriebenen Lehrveranstaltungskonzepts aus Sprachbildungsperspektive beschrieben.Teacher training is currently facing the task of anchoring various cross-sectional topics in its curriculum and planning of teacher training courses. In the project “Fachdidaktische Qualifizierung Inklusion angehender Lehrkräfte an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (FDQI-HU)” [Qualification of Pre-Service Teachers at Humboldt-University Berlin in Inclusive Subject-Specific Didactics], academic language teaching is understood as an integral part of inclusion in classroom context. On the premise of a broad understanding of inclusion, inclusion-sensitive, subject-specific didactics courses were developed in an interdisciplinary team. Special consideration was given to language-sensitive education. For a number of subject-specific didactic seminars, flexible modules were developed and tested. These modules are based on content relating to heterogeneity, didactics, and diagnostic competence, class leadership, and inclusive academic language teaching. This chapter presents the module on “Inclusive Academic Language Teaching” in the context of the general conception of the research project. In addition, an insight into the evaluation of the module is given and first implications for continuing in the future use are outlined

Der Baustein "Sprachbildung 2.0": Eine digitale Lehr-Lern-Einheit zur Lehrkräfteprofessionalisierung für inklusive Settings

Das Projekt Fachdidaktische Qualifizierung Inklusion angehender Lehrkräfte an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (FDQI-HU) entwickelt Konzepte für Hochschulseminare, um zukünftige Lehrkräfte auf die Planung, Durchführung und Reflexion von inklusivem (Fach-)Unterricht vorzubereiten. Der in diesem Beitrag beschriebene Baustein Sprachbildung ist der Teil einer Reihe von fünf digitalen, an Inklusion orientierten Lehr-Lern-Bausteinen, die als Blended-Learning-Einheit entwickelt wurden. Der digitale Teil des Bausteins ist für die asynchrone Bearbeitung im Lernmanagementsystem Moodle vorgesehen. Alle für den Einsatz in der Lehrkräftebildung konzipierten Bausteine thematisieren zentrale Aspekte eines an Inklusion orientieren Unterrichts. Der erste Baustein stellt die inklusionspädagogische Grundlage aller Bausteine, das Didaktische Modell für inklusives Lehren und Lernen (DiMiLL), vor; die Bausteine zwei, drei und vier zielen auf die Entwicklung adaptiver Lehrkompetenz von angehenden Lehrkräften ab; der fünfte Baustein Sprachbildung basiert auf der Annahme, dass ein inklusiver Fachunterricht immer auch ein sprachsensibler Fachunterricht sein sollte. Sprachbildung, verstanden als zielgruppenübergreifendes Konzept, zielt auf die sprachliche Handlungsfähigkeit und individuelle Sprachkompetenz aller Lernenden sowie auf die Reduzierung von Bildungsungleichheit. Anschlussstellen zwischen Sprachbildung und adaptiver Lehrkompetenz für den inklusiven Unterricht

Die Autorinnen widmen sich der Bedeutung sprachbildungsbezogener Kompetenzen für professionelles Lehrkräftehandeln im inklusiven Unterricht. Ausgehend von Schnittpunkten und Unterschieden der Konzepte Sprachbildung und Inklusion werden gemeinsame Zielsetzungen sprachsensiblen und adaptiven Unterrichtens identifiziert. Impulse aus der Konzeption der inklusionsorientierten Lehr-Lern-Bausteine und aus dem Forschenden Lernen für die Sprachbildung in der ersten Phase der Lehrkräftebildung

Die Autorinnen widmen sich der Frage, wie die Querschnittsthemen Inklusion, Sprachbildung und Forschendes Lernen in der ersten Phase der Lehrkräftebildung miteinander verknüpft werden können. Ausgangspunkt dafür bildet der Lehr-Lern-Baustein Sprachbildung. Anhand der Skizzierung von zwei Seminarkonzeptionen exemplifizieren sie deren Synergieeffekte für die inklusionssensible Lehrkräftebildung, die sich aus der Entwicklungsarbeit für die Bausteine ergeben.
