    The effect of swell (social-interactive writing for english language learners) method on students’ achievement in writing narrative paragraph at mas yp Raudhatul akmal batang kuis

    The aim of this research is too know the students’ achievement in writing narrative paragraph that were taught by using SWELL (Social- interactive Writing For English Language learners) method, to know the students’ achievement in writing narrative paragraph that were taught by using conventional method and to find out whether there was significant effect on the students’ achievement in writing narrative paragraph at the tenth grade of MAS YP Raudhatul Akmal Batang Kuis in 2018/2019. The research methodology of this research was a quantitative research, which conducted the experimental and control group. The population of the research was tenth grade students of MAS YP Raudhatul Akmal Batang Kuis, the number of students were 76 students consist of two class. The experiment class was 38 student and control class was 38 students as sample. The instrument for collecting data was observation, interviews, and the researcher gave writing test to collect the data. There were two test; pre –test and post-test. The formula that used to analyze the data was t-table. After analyzing the data, the writer got; (1) The students’ ability in writing narrative paragraph by using SWELL method got the mean 76.84 and standard deviation was 8.88; (2) The students’ ability in writing narrative paragraph by using conventional strategy got the mean 68.15 and standard deviation was 7.22. The value of tobserved was 6.77 and that of ttable was 1.99. The value of tobservedwas higher than that of ttable(6.77>1.99), so Ha was accepted while Ho was rejected. It means that there was significant effect of using SWEEL method on the students’ achievement in writing narrative paragraph

    The study was conducted to determine the use of EM-4 (Effective Microorganism-4) probiotics on the fermentation of chicken manure as fertilizer on the population growth of Moina sp. This study used the RAL (Completely Randomized Design) method with 4 treatments 3 replicates. This research was conducted for one month from December 01- 31, 2022 at UPT Laboratorium Lahan Gambut Cooperation In Sustainable Managemant Of Tropical Peatland (LLG-CIMTROP), Jalan Hendrik Timang UPR Tanjung Nyaho Campus Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. Four treatments were treatment A with 100 g dry chicken manure without the probiotics, treatment B with 100 g dry chicken manure and 6 ml the probiotics solution, treatment C with 100 g dry chicken manure and 12 ml the probiotics solution, and treatment D with 100 g dry chicken manure and 18 ml the probiotics solution. The results obtained that the use of chicken manure fermented by 18 ml EM-4 probiotic solution provided the highest density of Moina sp. about 800 ind/l with 75.0%/day of the population specific growth rate. However, water quality during the study was still in the normal range for the cultivation of Moina sp

    The use Based on obsevation by doing interview with productive teacher show that learning approach which was implemented still use conventional method, that was discourse which commonly used although when completing the task discussion model was implemented among classmate only. It was because the teacher could not yet adjust himself with 2013 curriculum which just implemented of Xth grade student’s SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. It couse learning process became monotonous and sends to be centered on the teacher only. So, by these problems, in this research cooperative learning of snowball throwing type was implemented to increase student’s learning result. The research using experiment quasi method by nonequivalent control group design research. The researchpopulation was whole the student of Teknik Gambar Bangunan grade X of SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya ini academic year 2014/2015 which amount 28 students consist of 16 students as experiment class and 12 students as control class was determined by the teacher of building contruction. The design approach that used ini this research kuantitative approach. This researc had done on November 2014. The data is taken from the data of student’s learning result. The result of the study showed that experiment group and control group work well (2,68 < 5,99) and the homogenoun (1,333 < 2,72). The average post test result of exsperiment group was 83,125 and control group was 68. The data technique analyze that used in this research was Uji-t, and based on the Uji-t calculation of the post test data showed that thitung 5,404 and ttabel 2,05 at 5% siqnifikansi level which mean thitung > ttabel (5,404 > 2,05). So H0 was refused and Ha was accepted. So, it can be concluded that the average student’s learning result on the parts of building construction material which taught by cooperative learning model of snowball throwing type was higher than the Student’s learning result which taught by discourse method. Therefore cooperative learnig model of snowball throwing type influenced the Student’s learning result on the part of building contruction material

    Efek Tepung Porang (Amorphophallus muelleri) yang Diberi Aluminium Sulfat Terhadap Fungsi Hati pada Tikus Winstar Diinduksi Asam Asetat

    This study aims to determine the side effects of porang flour solution added with Aluminum Sulfate on AST (Aspartate Aminotransferase) as an indicator of liver function in Wistar rats. This research was conducted in a laboratory with a completely randomized design with 3 replications. Treatment of porang flour solution was added with Aluminum Sulfate 3% (w/v) then added 3 g of porang flour. The rats before treatment were induced by gastric ulcers of rats with 12.5% acetic acid for 3 days. Treatment of porang flour solution was carried out for 21 days with a sonde. Parameters observed were movement, morphology, body weight (growth) and AST (U/L) on 7, 14 and 21 days after treatment. Data analysis was performed using Statistica 6 at a 95% confidence level. The results showed that porang flour treatment mice had a much lower body weight, were healthy, agile and moved a lot, indicating that porang flour plus aluminum sulfate can be developed as an alternative diet food. AST levels after 21 days of treatment with porang flour solution decreased. The recovery of Wistar rats induced by 12.5% acetic acid wounds for 3 days can be healed after 21 days given a 2 mL porang flour solution by sonde based on the results of morphological observations and decreased levels of AST

Barugbug Village is one of the villages located inJatisari District, Karawang Regency. Like other rural areas and even the world,Barugbug Village is currently experiencing a pandemic impact, both in terms of economyand health. The emergence of this disease outbreak encourages the importance ofproviding education to the public about clean and healthy living habits (PHBS). PHBS isone of the strategies in preventing the spread of Covid -19 which is very effective andeasy to do by all levels of society. Real Work Lecture Activities (KKN) for the 2020/2021academic year are carried out online (Online). The method used is interviews withrelated parties in Barugbug Village through social media, to obtain data either primarydata or secondary data or the information needed. By having 1 active standby village inBarugbug Village, it has the potential to develop the implementation of PHBS inprevention efforts during the pandemic. PHBS merupakan salah satu starategi dalam pencegahan penyebaran Covid -19yang sangat efektif dan mudah dilakukan oleh semua lapisan masyarakat. KegiatanKuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) tahun akademik 2020/2021 dilaksanakan secara Daring(Online). Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara dengan pihak terkait di DesaBarugbug melalui media social, untuk memperoleh data-data baik diperoleh data primermaupun data sekunder atau informasi-informasi yang dibutuhkan. Dengan memiliki 1desa siaga aktif di Desa Barugbug berpotensi dapat mengembangkan dalam penerapanPHBS upaya pencegahan dimasa pandemi.     The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge about feed management and reduce animal feed capital by cultivating BSF caterpillars.  Community service is carried out in Toapaya Village, North Bintan District, Bintan Regency by involving community groups and fish farmers. The community involved in community service involved in this community service is 35 people, then the Community Service Team consists of 1 lecturer and 21 students. Counseling and socialization were carried out to community groups in Toapaya Village, socialization was carried out at the Toapaya Village Hall. Counseling to the community is carried out to socialize the activities carried out. BSF caterpillar cultivation that is socialized and applied in the community is able to become an alternative to fish feed using BSF caterpillars as a step to implement effective and efficient feed management. From the results of community service, it was obtained to increase the ability of the community to manage feed 100%, from not knowing to knowing and skilling. The socialization process has increased the community's expertise in managing feed which then becomes an alternative to fish feed as a step to implement effective and efficient feed management.     Desa Sungai Undang merupakan desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Seruyan Hilir Kabupaten Seruyan dengan jumlah penduduk pada bulan Desember tahun 2018 adalah 3.053 jiwa.  Budidaya ikan air payau adalah salah satu usaha perikanan yang digeluti oleh sebagian masyarakat dengan jumlah produksi lebih besar dari jenis perikanan lainnya, salah satunya di Desa Sungai Undang yang paling banyak melakukan pembudidayaan ikan air payau yaitu melalui usaha perikanan tambak ikan bandeng. Ikan bandeng merupakan salah satu produk perikanan yang mempunyai nilai nutrisi tinggi dan dibutuhkan oleh tubuh seperti protein dan asam amino.  Mahasiswa KKN-T Mandiri tahun 2022 dan ibu-ibu PKK Desa Sungai Undang melakukan pengolahan ikan bandeng makanan ringan yang bergizi berupa nugget dalam upaya penggerakan UMKM Desa Sungai Undang. Nugget merupakan makanan yang praktis untuk dikonsumsi dengan kandungan gizi protein yang tinggi. Selain untuk meningkatkan UMKM, olahan nugget tersebut juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan gizi anak-anak BGM dan untuk meningkatkan kecintaan anak-anak untuk mengomsumsi ikan banden

    Membangun image atau citra yang baik adalah suatu hal yang harus dilakukan sebagai bagian dalam mencapai kualitas. Melalui image yang baik, lembaga akan terus berupaya mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas agar tetap memenuhi standar. Begitupun halnya dengan perguruan tinggi yang dituntut untuk memiliki image sebagai suatu lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Perguruan tinggi diharapkan memiliki kekhasan keunggulan yang menjadi karakter dan dapat membedakannya dengan perguruan tinggi lain. Salah satunya adalah kualitas lulusan yang berhasil dan diterima bekerja. Permasalahan dilapangan yang terjadi sebagaimana  ditemukan pada Program Studi PGMI STAI Sangatta Kutai Timur, adalah masih kurang dikenalnya Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Hal ini disebabkan dari ketidaktahuan masyarakat akan prospek lulusan, yang sesungguhnya profesi sebagai guru kelas di SD/MI adalah profesi yang paling banyak dicari. terutama di Kabupaten Kutai Timur. Hal inilah  yang sesungguhnya menjadi keutungan bagi para lulusan Program Studi PGMI STAI Sangatta untuk dapat memasuki dunia kerja sebagai guru kelas yang linier dengan program yang telah dipilih. Oleh karena itu harus dilakukan berbagai upaya agar Program Studi PGMI STAI Sangatta dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas dan siap bersaing dengan perguruan tinggi lainnya yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dimana data dan hasil dipaparkan dalam bentuk penjelasan. Berdasarkan temuan dapat dijelaskan bahwa standarisasi brand image pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah STAI Sangatta, pada prinsipnyadi pengaruhi beberapa faktor yaitu:1) pembentukan brand image prodi PGMI STAI Sangatta di tinjau dari Rencana Induk Pengembangan (RIP), rencana strategis, kurikulum, tenaga kependidikan, calon mahasiswa, sarana dan prasarana, penyelenggaraan pendidikan, penyelenggaraan penelitian, penyelenggaraan pengabdian masyarakat, kerjasama, administrasi dan pendanaan program; 2) pelaporan kegiatan proses belajar mengajar melalui manajemen perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasaa
