THE INFLUENCE OF THE APPLICATION OF INQUIRY METHOD ON STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN LEARNING RELATIVE PRONOUN AT THE ELEVENTH CLASS STUDENTS OF MA AL-ISHLAH BOBOS

IIS PURNAMA LESTARI: THE INFLUENCE OF THE APPLICATION OF INQUIRY METHOD ON STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN LEARNING RELATIVE PRONOUN AT THE ELEVENTH CLASS STUDENTS OF MA AL-ISHLAH BOBOS English is a language that is learnt by people of non-English native speakers around the world. In Indonesia, English is a school subject that must be learnt by the students of the elementary schools up to the universities. And, it is also coming up in the national examination. It means that English plays a very important role in the country. To master English, the students must improve the skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with having the good knowledge of vocabulary and the rules of a language (grammar). In this case, the writer only discusses about the rules of a language (grammar) especially, relative pronoun by using inquiry method. The formulation of the problem in this thesis is divided into four parts namely, the identification of the problem, the limitation of the problem, the questions of the research, and the aims of the research. In this case, the writer discusses about the application of inquiry method on students’ ability in learning relative pronoun. The aims of the research in writing this thesis are as follows: to know the students’ response of using inquiry method, to know the students’ ability in learning relative pronoun, and to know the influence of inquiry method on the students’ ability in learning relative pronoun. The techniques of collecting data in writing this thesis are as follows: observation, test, and questionnaire. In this thesis, the writer chooses MA Al- Ishlah Bobos as the object of the research. The total population at the eleventh class is 56 students, it is classified into two classes namely XI-IPA and XI-IPS; XI-IPA is 30 students and XI-IPS is 26 students. And for a sample, the writer takes all of students at XI-IPA. So, the sample is 30 students. There are three important elements found in this thesis. First, the students’ response towards inquiry method have good categorized, the point is 80.8. The second is the students’ ability in learning relative pronoun, the point is 81.8. The influence is enough or sufficient between two variables because the result of correlation coefficient is 0.63. The third is the application of inquiry method give contribution toward the students’ ability in learning relative pronoun as big as 78% and 22% is determined by other factors. And response towards using inquiry method is influence positively, it is supported by the value tcount (4.3) > ttable (2.048). It means that, Ha is accepted and Ho is refused

This study aims to determine the impact of economic growth, population, and capital expenditure on the original income of the district/city in Bengkulu Province. The population of this study is all regencies/cities in Bengkulu Province, amounting to 9 districts and 1 city. The sample consists of the entire population, using local government financial reports, regional financial statistical reports, and regional statistical reports for the period 2014 - 2018. The analytical method used in this study is the multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study concluded that economic growth had a positive and significant impact on regional own-source revenue, the population had a positive and significant impact on regional own-source revenue, while capital expenditure had a positive and not significant effect on regional own-source revenuen. &nbsp

Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih di Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta: Studi Analisis Kebutuhan Pertunjukan Tari Tradisi

ABSTRAKBeksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih merupakan salah satu jenis tari tradisi klasik yang lahir dan berkembang di lingkungan Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta. Seperti halnya tari tradisi klasik lainnya, Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih mengalami penurunan popularitas karena perkembangan zaman dan kurangnya publikasi dari masyarakat dan akademisi. Menyikapi permasalahan tersebut, berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan pertunjukan Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih, perlu adanya penyesuaian dengan minat generasi zaman ini agar eksistensi tarian ini meningkat dan tetap lestari. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan perkembangan Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan model penulisan deskriptif dan teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu obserasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. The Impact of Synchronous Online Learning on Students Attainment in Maths

Akibat munculnya pandemi Covid-19, banyak sekolah di Indonesia yang menerapkan sekolah dari rumah di mana guru dan siswa harus belajar dari rumah, termasuk di sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan fakta tersebut, tak pelak, guru dan siswa ditantang untuk melakukan pembelajaran daring sinkron. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran online sinkron terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode triangulasi yang dapat membantu dalam mengkonfirmasikan kumpulan temuan berdasarkan hipotesis. Untuk memenuhi tujuan tersebut, 16 siswa kelas 4 SD di Jakarta direkrut sebagai peserta penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dari nilai akhir mata pelajaran matematika siswa di semester-1 (tatap muka) dan semester-2 (pembelajaran online sinkron), serta hasil observasi peserta selama 3 bulan pada semester-2 (pembelajaran online sinkron). Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS, Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,014. Hasil 0,014 berada di bawah 0,05 yang berarti pembelajaran online sinkron telah menyebabkan penurunan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar matematika siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tatap muka. Faktor yang bisa mempengaruhi pencapaian siswa adalah kesiapan siswa dalam menggunakan teknologi dan media, manajemen waktu, kondisi fisik dan mental siswa terhadap pembelajaran online dan fokus diskusi

The Effectiveness Of Infographics Towards Students’ Reading Comprehension

The aims of this research are (1) to find out how to apply infographics towards students' reading comprehension; (2) to find out the effect of using infographics as learning media towards students‟ reading comprehension; (3) to find out students' respond to the use of infographics as learning media. This research method is quantitative with a pre-experimental research design type of one-group pretestposttest design. The instruments in this study were tests, questionnaires, and observations. The test consists of a pretest, which is a test before being given treatment, and a posttest, which is a test after being given treatment. The treatment in this study is the application of infographics as learning media in procedure text. The results show that (1) the application of infographics can be applied to a text to clarify the contents of the text because it is supported by the visual elements of the infographics. The application of infographics in this study is to apply infographics to procedure text. The procedure text is presented in infographic form supported by illustrations and visual elements on infographics. (2) there is an effect of using infographics as learning media towards students' reading comprehension. It can be seen from the results of the paired sample test. With the significant value or Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.00 which is less than 0.05 it means that Ha is accepted. Another analysis of the paired sample test by comparing the t-test with the t-table, where ttest > t-table is 9.724 > 2.093 it means that Ha is accepted. Supported by the pretest-posttest results, can be seen from the difference in pretest and posttest values where the pretest has a mean of 34.75 and the posttest has a higher value of 63.757. (3) there was a good response from students towards the use of infographics as learning media. Students gave a positive response from the use of infographics as an effective medium in helping reading comprehension. This can be seen from the percentage (80%) of students agreeing with the statements in the questionnaire “I feel infographics can help me understand the text”. Supported by the results of observations with an average of 98%, it can be interpreted very good. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that infographics are an effective learning media towards students

This study aims to determine the motive of the public to read or understand the information contained on the drug packaging OTC, identify the ability of people to understand information on the the drug packaging OTC and the utilization of existing information. This is a qualitative research. Researchers collected data in the Kepuharjo village, Cangkringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The result shows that the main reason of people reading the instructions on the drug packaging OTC is to be safe after consuming drugs. However, other clue, such as drug side effects is less noticed. Because of consuming drugs is always safe, it makes people repeat in consuming drugs considered suitable for her. People do this in accordance with rules of consuming drugs because they expect to get speedy recovery. The other reason is to make as information or knowledge when they will consume drugs

This study has been conducted in Kumango river subdistrict Tambusai district Rokan Hulu from December 2016 to January 2017. The aim of this study was to inventory the species of Cyprinidae fish in Kumango river with direct observation (survey) and determined of sampling stations by purposive sampling. A total of 206 individuals of fish Cyprinidae belonging to 7 genus and 8 species were recorded in this study, namely Barbichthys leavis, Barbodes schwanenfeldii, Cyclocheilichthys apogon, Hampala macrolepidota, Mystacoleucus marginatus, Osteochilus hasseltii, Rasbora argyrotaenia, R. lateristriata. Rasbora was the most abundance fish in this study

Salah satu tugas sekretaris dalam melaksanakan instruksi adalah melakukan persiapan perjalanan dinas pimpinan, karena perjalanan dinas merupakan salah satu aktivitas organisasi atau perusahaan yang sering dilakukan pimpinan. Agar perjalanan dinas dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien, maka perlu dilakukan penjadwalan dan pengaturan pada perjalanan dinas tersebut, sehingga pekerjaan pimpinan tidak terbengkalai hanya karena kesalahan dalam menyusun jadwal atau tidak adanya jadwal yang digunakan sebagai acuan pelaksanaan perjalanan dinas. Mengatur dan menyiapkan perjalanan dinas pimpinan meliputi,mempersiapkan segala sesuatu, mulai dari dokumen yang dibutuhkan pimpinandalam perjalanannya, konfirmasi tiket dan hotel, pembuatan jadwal perjalanan,sampai segala sesuatu yang dapat menunjang keberhasilan dan kenyamanan pimpinan dalam perjalanan dinasnya.  Kata Kunci   : Peran Sekretaris Dalam Menangani Perjalanan Dinas Pimpina
