PENERAPAN MODEL CHALLENGE BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI LINGKUNGAN

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pendahuluan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakahpenerapan model pembelajaran challenge based learning efektif dalam meningkatkan literasilingkungan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest postest design, dengan sampelmahasiswa pada mata kuliah pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh rerataN-gain 0,82 dan effect size 2,6, maka keduanya masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil uji analisispaired sampel t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan literasi lingkungan sebelum dansesudah penerapan pembelajaran challenge based learing, sehingga dapat disimpulkanpenerapan model pembelajaran challenge based learning efektif dapat meningkatkan literasilingkungan.Kata Kunci : challenge based learning , literasi lingkunga

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran (Berbantuan Laboratorium Virtual) dan Minat Belajar Tehadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Kimia

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of virtual laboratory-assisted learning model and learning interest in the students creative thinking abilities of chemistry. The study design was 2 x 2 factorial design with three variables consisting of two independent variables and one dependent variable. To obtain research data used in the form of the test instrument the creative thinking abilities of chemistry and scale of student interest. The population in this study were all senior high school students Pasar Minggu District XI Class South Jakarta in the study sample two classes from two schools were equal. The results showed that: 1) There is the influence of Virtual Lab assisted learning model of creative thinking abilities of chemistry. 2) There is interest in studying the influence of creative thinking abilities of chemistry. 3) There is an interaction effect between learning model assisted Virtual Lab an interest in learning to creative thinking abilities of chemistry. From the research it needs further testing with the t test, which indicates that two group has an influence on the creative thinking abilities of chemistry

Respon Mahasiswa Terhadap Projek Membuat Ecoenzym pada Pembelajaran Biologi

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada mata kuliah Konsep Dasar Sains. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain One-Shot Case Study dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 24 mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah biologi umum. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari para peserta. Hasil respon mahasiswa mengenai ketertarikan mahasiswa terhadap projek ecoenzym memberikan rerata skor 78,3 dengan persentase 65,3% berada pada kategori cukup baik. Jumlah skor mahasiswa yang menjawab negatif pernyataan bahwa model pembelajaran  proyek membuat ecoenzyme dalam pembelajaran Biologi menjemukan sebesar 89 (74%) berada pada kategori baik. Namun pada pernyataan bahwa model pembelajaran  proyek ecoenzyme membuat mereka tertekan, mahasiswa cenderung setuju sehingga menghasilkan skor sebesar 42 (35%) yang berada pada kategori sangat kurang baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Konsep Dasar IPA

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif

The purpose of the study was to determine the role of problem-based learning model to critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability. The subjects were students of semester IV Mathematics Education Study Program, University of Indraprasta PGRI, Jakarta in 2013/2014, in the subject of Basic Chemistry II. The selection of the class for this study was based on multistage random sampling. Experiments conducted on the sample of 30 experimental class students with problem-based learning model and 30 control class students with expository learning model. The data was collected by implementing tests of critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability with essay test. Analysis of research data using MANOVA support by SPSS. From the results of the study concluded that learning models give influence to the critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability together (F=21,815;p=0.000)

Penerapan Metode Mind Mapping Untuk Meningkatkan Konsentrasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Kelas X Di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru

This is a classroom action research (CAR). There are some signs that indicate the lack of students’ concentration in learning such as they pay less attention to the teachers, they are busy playing with their pens, they keep talking with classmates, they keep playing mobile when learning, so that their psychomotor skills do not develop properly. Based on the background of problem, then the problem formulation of this study is whether the implementation of mind mapping method can increase students’ concentration in learning Islamic studies at the tenth grade of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. This study aims to investigate the increase of students’ concentration in learning Islamic studies by implementing the mind mapping method at the tenth grade of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The subject of this study is students at the tenth grade of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, consisting of 36 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. In order to obtain the results of study, the process and analyze data are done through the stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of study show that using the mind mapping method can increase students’ concentration in learning up to 74% at the first cycle and 90% at the second cycle. These results are in the very high criterion. On the other side, the teacher ability in using mind mapping method is 87% at the first cycle and 94% at the second cycle or involved in the category of “very good”

Keterampilan Pembuatan Sabun Mandi Alami Berbahan Baku VCO Skala Rumah Tangga

Sabun mandi alami merupakan kebutuhan harian bagi setiap masyarakat, dengan keterampilan membuat sabun diharapkan ibu-ibu bisa menghemat pengeluaran bulanan, meminimalisir sampah kemasan dan mendapat sabun yang lebih aman karena berbahan alami. Pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan pendampingan pada ibu-ibu, khususnya yang tergabung majelis Yasmin Noor Huda berada di kelurahan Jatimulya kecamatan Cilodong Kota Depok. Permasalahan yang biasa dialami oleh sebagian ibu rumah tangga adalah kejenuhan dengan rutinitas yang itu-itu saja. Sehingga kurang inisiatif untuk melakukan pengembangan diri. Dari proses wawancara untuk mengetahui permasalahan dan kebutuhan mitra, kami mengetahui bahwa diperlukan adanya penambahan keterampilan sebagai pengembangan diri bagi ibu-ibu di sektor melati ini sehingga keterampilan itu dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menambah kegiatan dirumah, juga lebih jauh dapat digunakan untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi di lingkungan keluarga dan perumahan. Kegiatan yang kami lakukan yaitu pelatihan pembuatan sabun mandi alami yang berbahan dasar VCO. Pemilihan bahan dasar VCO karena VCO mudah dibuat dan kaya manfaat dan mudah didapat
