    Diseñar una guía para el mejoramiento del proceso de selección del talento humano del sector educativo privado en el municipio de Duitama Boyacá

    La Educación en Colombia ha tomado gran relevancia debido a los resultados obtenidos en las pruebas del Programa para la Evaluación Internacional de Alumnos (PISA), donde Colombia está rezagada frente a otros países, y es así que uno de los objetivos del Ministerio de Educación Nacional; para el año 2025 es lograr que Colombia sea uno de los Países más educados a nivel Latinoamérica. Esta monografía se realiza en el municipio de Duitama, teniendo en cuenta su reconocimiento como el municipio más educado de acuerdo a su promedio en el Índice Sintético de Calidad Educativa (ISCE), pero que a la vez encontramos una disyuntiva con la posición de las instituciones educativas de Duitama que no se ubican en los primeros lugares a nivel nacional. De acuerdo con esta premisa se justifica realizar la presente monografía, donde la ciudad cuenta con 44 instituciones educativas privadas y 14 instituciones educativas oficiales, enfocándola en las instituciones educativas privadas, pero que a su vez servirá de insumo para la estandarización de los procesos de selección del talento humano de las instituciones educativas oficiales. Para determinar el mejoramiento en la selección del talento humano en las instituciones educativas es necesario conocer el marco legal (ley 115 de 1994, Decretos reglamentarios 1278 de 2002, 2277 de 1979 y demás decretos, Código sustantivo del trabajo Adoptado por el Decreto Ley 2663 del 5 de agosto de 1950 que rige la contratación de los docentes del sector educativo privado, así mismo identificar cuáles son las cargas laborales (cargos), competencias laborales, funciones, estructura organizacional dirigidas al cumplimiento de esta actividad y las necesidades de capacitación de los trabajadores para ofrecer un excelente servicio, teniendo en cuenta su misión, visión y el proyecto educativo institucional y acorde con las instituciones debidamente certificadas en calidad. En los procesos de diagnóstico, planeación, ejecución, seguimiento, evaluación y mejoramiento de la calidad educativa, requiere de un documento guía para la selección del talento humano; que permita retener el personal más idóneo, comprometido con la organización, esto significa que no solo el capital humano se está reteniendo sino el aprendizaje y la experiencia durante el tiempo que allí permanezca; un documento en la cual se estimen cuales puestos de trabajo son los más requeridos por la institución educativa y sus funciones a desempeñar. La organización que logra desarrollar la anterior premisa del talento humano, genera mediciones que permiten monitorear el capital humano y aseguran que estén produciendo el mejor resultado; no solo en calidad educativa sino en calidad humana.Education in Colombia has taken great relevance due to the results obtained in the tests of the Program for the International Assessment of Stu (PISA), where Colombia lags behind other countries, and is one of the objectives of the Ministry of National Education; by the year 2025 it is to make Colombia one of the most educated countries in Latin America. According to this premise, it is justified to make this monograph, where the city has 44 private educational institutions and 14 official educational institutions, focusing on private educational institutions, but which in turn will serve as input for the standardization of selection processes of the human talent of the official educational institutions. To determine the improvement in the selection of human talent in educational institutions it is necessary to know the legal framework (Law 115 of 1994, Regulatory Decrees 1278 of 2002, 2277 of 1979 and other decrees, Substantive Labor Code Adopted by Decree Law 2663 of the August 5, 1950 that governs the hiring of teachers in the private educational sector, as well as identify what are the workloads (positions), job skills, functions, organizational structure aimed at the fulfillment of this activity and the training needs of workers to offer an excellent service, taking into account its mission, vision and the institutional educational project and in accordance with the institutions duly certified in quality. In the processes of diagnosis, planning, execution, monitoring, evaluation and improvement of educational quality, it requires a guide document for the selection of human talent; that allows retaining the most suitable personnel, committed to the organization, this means that not only human capital is being retained but learning and experience during the time that remains there; a document in which it is estimated which jobs are the most required by the educational institution and its functions to be performed. The organization that manages to develop the previous premise of human talent, generates measurements that allow monitoring human capital and ensure that they are producing the best result; not only in educational quality but in human quality

    Prevalence and risk factors for intestinal parasitic infections in pregnant women residing in three districts of Bogotá, Colombia

    Background: Intestinal parasitic infections (IPI) lead to significant morbidity and mortality in pediatric and adult populations worldwide. Intestinal parasitism during pregnancy is of interest as it may affect the health of pregnant women and their offspring. This study determined the prevalence of IPI in pregnant women living in substandard conditions in three urban districts of Bogota, Colombia. Associations between prevalence and sociodemographic factors, housing, and living conditions were also evaluated. Methods: In a cross-sectional and community-based study, pregnant women were recruited from three districts of Bogota. A total of 550 participants answered a questionnaire;331 of these also provided stool samples, with 233 providing one and 98 providing two stool samples. Questionnaire responses were associated with the presence of intestinal parasites, which was determined using a standard combined microscopy technique including direct wet mount and formol-ether concentration. Results were verified by supplementary examination of 48 stool samples by quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Results: Among pregnant women who lived in selected poor residential areas in Bogota, the overall prevalence of intestinal parasitism was 41% with 9% polyparasitism. Pathogenic parasites were present in 1.2% of the 331 participants including Giardia lamblia and Ascaris lumbricoides. Higher prevalence was found for parasites with debated pathogenicity, including Blastocystis hominis (25%), Endolimax nana (15%), Entamoeba coli (8%), and Iodamoeba butschlii (2%). Entamoeba histolytica/dispar complex was also detected (1.5%). When comparing a subset of stool samples using the combined microscopy technique and qPCR, the latter detected a higher 58.3% overall IPI prevalence. Higher prevalence of infections by any intestinal parasite was found in participants who had never been dewormed (p = 0.01). Higher but not statistically significant associations were found between any parasite and women living with a partner, and intestinal polyparasitism and being from a minority group and not having a water sink. Conclusions: This first study of the prevalence of intestinal parasitism in Bogota focused on pregnant women living in poverty, found a high prevalence of intestinal parasites of debated pathogenicity, and confirmed a low prevalence of pathogenic intestinal parasites. These results highlight the need for educational interventions to disrupt transmission routes for prevalent parasites

    La imagen y la narrativa como herramientas para el abordaje psicosocial en escenarios de violencia departamento de Cundinamarca

    El presente trabajo basado en el análisis de la imagen y la narrativa como herramientas que aportan al abordaje psicosocial en escenarios de violencia, permitirá sustentar habilidades, estrategias y acciones en escenarios de violencia a raíz del conflicto armado que ha sido factor social en Colombia en las últimas décadas. Iniciaremos con el análisis del relato de Carlos Arturo (relato # 5), tomado del libro voces: historias de violencia y esperanza en Colombia, Banco Mundial, 2009. Se analizan fragmentos particulares, impactos psicosociales, voces subjetivas, dominantes e impactos y estrategias de abordaje desde la narrativa. White (2016) nos permite investigar desde los fragmentos de la comunidad las necesidades, herramientas, oportunidades, fortalezas y toda una gama de datos enlazables crear recursos de afrontamiento para la comunidad. Además de la pregunta como herramienta para aportar al abordaje Martínez, E. (2015) precisa la pregunta como herramienta, considerando la pregunta en diferentes estructuras y contenida, para que cada una tenga un fin especial siendo apoyo a la estrategia del acompañamiento psicosocial. Continuaremos sobre el abordaje en el caso Peñas Coloradas Tomado de “El Estado declaró al Ejército dueño temporal de nuestro caserío y nos condenó al destierro”. 2019. Comisión de la verdad. Se analizará este mismo en cuanto a emergentes psicosociales, estigmatización y señalamiento de la comunidad. De acuerdo a la narrativa interiorizada del caso, con el propósito de generar acciones y estrategias para el abordaje psicosocial a una comunidad afectada por escenarios de violencia. Los análisis tratados en el ejercicio de imágenes y narrativas como medio para construir memorias serán abordados desde el ejercicio de foto voz a través de diferentes contextos de violencias identificados en la actualidad. Que si bien no se representan desde zonas rojas en conflicto armado, nos permite identificar que estos factores de violencia proceden a consecuencias del conflicto armado como emergentes psicosociales en nuestro país. Finalmente entablaremos las conclusiones identificadas del análisis de imagen y narrativas, en los respectivos abordajes y el informe analítico propiciado.     Frente a la responsabilidad social de las organizaciones es escaso el análisis moral sobres su fundamentación, de allí que este artículo se basó en responder a la pregunta ¿cuáles son los argumentos morales que se identifican en las publicaciones y que dan soporte a la responsabilidad social de las organizaciones?  Partió de una investigación documental de corte cualitativo donde se realizó una abstracción discursiva del fenómeno para identificar nuevas tendencias y explicaciones. El principal hallazgo es la preeminencia de las posturas deontológicas sobre las consecuencialistas; esto se debe, entre otras cosas, por las obligaciones y deberes tanto legales como autónomas que se apoyan en objetivos sociales de la empresa.  La conclusión principal muestra la coherencia de este hallazgo con el proceder las empresas que establecen normas y protocolos como instrumento para el comportamiento de quienes integran la organización.Faced with the social responsibility of organizations, there is little moral analysis on its foundation, hence this article was based on answering the question what are the moral arguments that are identified in the publications and that support the social responsibility of the organizations? It started from a qualitative documentary investigation where a discursive abstraction of the phenomenon was carried out to identify new trends and explanations. The main finding is the preeminence of deontological positions over consequentialist ones; This is due, among other things, to both legal and autonomous obligations and duties that are based on the company's social objectives.     Propuesta de mejora en el riesgo Psicolaboral, basado en las consecuencias que afectan la integridad física y psicológica de los servidores públicos de la Subdirección General de la Policía Nacional de Colombia en el segundo semestre de 2022

    Diversos estudios han demostrado que en el presente los factores de Riesgo Psicolaboral, constituyen a nivel mundial, la mayor fuente de daños en la salud, calidad de vida y rendimiento de los empleados por lo que ha sido catalogado como enfermedad profesional. En la institución de la Policía Nacional de Colombia el porcentaje de enfermedades Psicolaborales es muy alto ocasionando ausentismo laboral, alterando con esto la prestación del servicio que se debe brindar al país de acuerdo con lo consagrado en la Constitución Política de Colombia. Es por ello que el presente proyecto de investigación está encaminado a dar una propuesta de mejora al riesgo Psicolaboral que está afectando la integridad física y psicológica de los servidores públicos de la Subdirección General de la Policía Nacional de Colombia, inicialmente se identifica los principales riesgos que se presentan en los servidores públicos, enseguida se determina aplicar una metodología cualitativa de tipo explicativo, la cual permite reconocer el origen de los acontecimientos que se están presentando en la actualidad, por lo que se determinó evaluar los riesgos identificados por medio de un cuestionario electrónico de 12 preguntas que fue aplicado a 21 servidores públicos que pertenecen al grupo de talento humano, obteniendo resultados puntuales que permiten predecir, explicar y suministrar recomendaciones para prevenir y minimizar los riesgos psicolaborales presentados en los trabajadores de la Subdirección General de la Policía Nacional ubicado en el Distrito Capital de la ciudad de Bogotá.Several studies have shown that at present the factors of Psycholaboral Risk, constitute at world-wide level, the major source of damages in the health, quality of life and performance of the employees, reason why it has been catalogued as an occupational disease. In the institution of the National Police of Colombia the percentage of psycholaboral diseases is very high causing absenteeism, thus altering the service that must be provided to the country according to what is enshrined in the Colombian Public Constitution. That is why this research project is aimed at giving a proposal to improve the Psycho-labor risk that is affecting the physical and psychological integrity of public servants of the General Sub-Directorate of the National Police of Colombia, initially identifying the main risks that occur in public servants, the following is determined to apply a qualitative methodology of explanatory type, which allows to recognize the origin of the events that are occurring at present, so it was determined to evaluate the risks identified through an electronic questionnaire of 12 questions that was applied to 21 public servants who belong to the group of human talent, obtaining specific results that allow predicting, explaining and providing recommendations to prevent and minimize the psycholaboral risks presented in the workers of the General Subdirectorate of the National Police located in the Capital District of the city of Bogota

    Toward precision psychiatry in bipolar disorder: staging 2.0

    Personalized treatment is defined as choosing the "right treatment for the right person at the right time." Although psychiatry has not yet reached this level of precision, we are on the way thanks to recent technological developments that may aid to detect plausible molecular and genetic markers. At the moment there are some models that are contributing to precision psychiatry through the concept of staging. While staging was initially presented as a way to categorize patients according to clinical presentation, course, and illness severity, current staging models integrate multiple levels of information that can help to define each patient's characteristics, severity, and prognosis in a more precise and individualized way. Moreover, staging might serve as the foundation to create a clinical decision-making algorithm on the basis of the patient's stage. In this review we will summarize the evolution of the bipolar disorder staging model in relation to the new discoveries on the neurobiology of bipolar disorder. Furthermore, we will discuss how the latest and future progress in psychiatry might transform current staging models into precision staging models

    Detoxification of oil refining effluents by oxidation of naphthenic acids using TAML catalysts

    The environmental problem stemming from toxic and recalcitrant naphthenic acids (NAs) present in effluents from the oil industry is well characterized. However, despite the numerous technologies evaluated for their destruction, their up-scaling potential remains low due to high implementation and running costs. Catalysts can help cutting costs by achieving more efficient reactions with shorter operating times and lower reagent requirements. Therefore, we have performed a laboratory investigation to assess iron-TAML (tetra-amido macrocyclic ligand) activators to catalyze the oxidation of NAs by activating hydrogen peroxide — considered environmentally friendly because it releases only water as by-product — under ultra-dilute conditions. We tested Fe-TAML/H2O2 systems on (i) model NAs and (ii) a complex mixture of NAs in oil refining wastewater (RWW) obtained from a refining site in Colombia. Given the need for cost-effective solutions, this preliminary study explores sub-stoichiometric H2O2 concentrations for NA mineralization in batch mode and, remarkably, delivers substantial removal of the starting NAs. Additionally, a 72-h semi-batch process in which Fe-TAML activators and hydrogen peroxide were added every 8 h achieved 90–95% removal when applied to model NAs (50 mg L−1) and a 4-fold reduction in toxicity towards Aliivibrio fischeri when applied to RWW. Chemical characterization of treated RWW showed that Fe-TAML/H2O2 treatment (i) reduced the concentration of the highly toxic O2 NAs, (ii) decreased cyclized constituents in the mixture, and (iii) preferentially degraded higher molecular weight species that are typically resistant to biodegradation. The experimental findings, together with the recent development of new TAML catalysts that are far more effective than the TAML catalysts deployed herein, constitute a foundation for cost-effective treatment of NA-contaminated wastewater.COLCIENCIAS (National Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Colombia)

    ilustraciones, fotografías a color, mapasResulta de especial importancia optimizar el manejo integral de la colonización de A. decurrens en el Área Operativa Inundable (AOI) del embalse de Tominé, ya que el conocimiento amplio de la ecología y dinámica de la invasión de esta especie, permite determinar con claridad los factores que inciden en su expansión, los cuales, a su vez determinan la distribución espacial del evento y proporcionan la capacidad de modelar el fenómeno natural con el fin de simularlo. Dada esta necesidad de conocimiento, se plantea el objetivo de disponer con un algoritmo en Model Builder - ArcGIS que permita definir las áreas que requieran intervención prioritaria de manejo integral de A. decurrens dentro del AOI del embalse de Tominé, de acuerdo con el tiempo teórico de madurez sexual de la especie después de las intervenciones aleatorias realizadas por el Plan de Manejo Ambiental entre los años 2015 a 2022.
