Proposal for Improving Marketing Mix

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na návrh zlepšení marketingového mixu společnosti Ivánek – Zeman v.o.s. Teoretická část obsahuje definice a pojmy související s tématem marketingu a marketingového mixu. Analytická část zahrnuje analýzy vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí, popisuje současný stav marketingového mixu společnosti a zjištěné informace shrnuje ve SWOT analýze. Poslední část práce se věnuje vlastním návrhům řešení, které vycházejí ze zjištěných skutečností v analytické části.The diploma thesis focuses on the design of improving the marketing mix of Ivánek – Zeman v.o.s. The theoretical part contains definitions and concepts related to marketing and marketing mix. The analytical part includes analyzes of the external and internal environment, describes the current state of the company´s marketing mix and the discovered information is summarized in the SWOT analysis. The last part of the thesis deals with own suggestions, which are based on the established facts in the analytical part.

A core set of microsatellite markers for conservation genetics studies of Korean goral (Naemorhedus caudatus) and its cross-species amplification in Caprinae species

In order to screen microsatellites for conservation genetics studies of the species, a total of 23 microsatellite loci from Korean goral (Naemorhedus caudatus), including 15 previously developed loci and 8 new loci in this study, were tested. Eleven microsatellites were screened and subjected to cross-species amplification using a test panel of four Caprinae species, Japanese serows (Capricornis crispus), Chinese gorals (Naemorhedus goral), Northern chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra) and domestic goats (Capra hircus). In addition, all eleven microsatellites (SY3A, SY12A, SY12B, SY48, SY58, SY71, SY76, SY84, SY84B, SY112, and SY129) satisfied the criteria to be a core set of microsatellites. This core set of microsatellites and cross-species amplification of Korean goral microsatellites were found to be helpful for high-resolution studies for conservation and management of Korean goral and other endangered Caprinae species

Hodnocení poslechových aktivit ve dvou vybraných učebnicích

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá poslechovými částmi dvou vybraných učenic (Face to Face pre-intermediate a Lifestyle pre-intermediate). Teoretická část se zabývá teoretickým podkladem souvisejícím s tématem. Nalezneme zde čtyři kapitoly: komunikativní kompetenci a komunikativní výuka jazyků, poslech, teorie učebnic, organizace třídy a seskupení studentů. Praktická část obsahuje předvýzkum a výzkum, který ukazuje hodnocení těchto dvou učebnic podle stanovených kritérií. Také zde nalezneme porovnání těchto dvou učebnic.This bachelor paper deals with listening parts of two particular textbooks (Face to Face pre-intermediate and Lifestyle pre-intermediate). The theoretical part focuses on crucial features related to the topic, and consists of four main chapters: communicative competence and communicative language teaching, listening, textbook theory, classroom interaction and grouping students. Marketing activities of the project help the children

The bachelor thesis deals with the marketing of non-profit organizations with subsequent applications to Project Civil Society Development Foundation and Czech Television Help the Children. Thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part outlines marketing and the non-profit sector in general. In the practical part this knowledge is applied to project Help the Children. In the thesis is conducted marketing research to assessment of knowledge of the project and non-profit sector in the Czech republic. The goal is introduce the project Help the Children, evaluate its marketing and to make its recommendations and ideas for improving activities in the marketing field

Reading in school of Geography

Charles University, Prague, 63 pgs + 19 pgs ofappendix This diploma thesis aims to assist in development of pupil's critical thinking in geography education through reading scientific texts with comprehension. So far only Řezníčková (2004a,b,c, 2007) has dealed with that topíc. The master thesis is devided into three relatively independent parts, which aim to find a solution to several research questions: First part is focused on analysis of scientific literature for the purpose of defining concepts conceming these issues (reading with understanding, reading skills, specification of usable texts) and with the view ofoffinding support in education documents. In order to sustain our demand for including a work with textsto geography education, we realized a research conceming pupils at primary and high schools. We compared their results with results of aspirants for studying geography at Faculty of Science, Charles University. Summary ofthis research makes up a second part of this thesis. The final findings of the research were used as bases for work up a third part, which has a metodical character. As it ensue from previous parts, pupils get a global skill of reading with understanding by consecutive acquiring components of reading..

Identification of an intervertebral disc properties by using a free oscillation method in in vitro condition

Identification of an intervertebral disc properties by using a free oscillation method in in vitro condition This disertation thesis introduces the original measuring method and its results aimed at identifying the character of viscoelastic forces in the respective motion components of an intervertebral disc and their mutual interactions. The method is based on the identification of the motion of a freely oscillating object placed in a center comprising the intervertebral disc when using the step mechanical excitation in the specific direction. The research was carried out on ovine and porcine (ovis domestica, sus scrofa) intervertebral discs. The measurements were performed safely within the physiological range of motions and using as fresh a sample as possible, free of preservatives. Result is a new methodology, a measurement device, a mathematically precise and original description of the non-linearity of stiffness, verification of linearity of the viscous component, and a promising description of interaction properties with the individual degrees of freedom. This method could provide more accurate values for development of intervertebral discs replacements. Role of Technical and Industrial Cultural Monuments for Cultural Tourism

Technické a průmyslové památky jsou kulturním dědictvím České republiky, které mají velký potenciál využití pro kulturní turismus. Hrají také důležité role pro cestovní ruch i pro život lidských jedinců. Těmito rolemi se podrobněji věnuji v mé práci. Potenciál těchto památek nespočívá pouze v ekonomickém přínosu. Mohou rovněž pozitivně působit na regionální rozvoj a sociokulturní prostředí. Industriální památky mají také velkou historickou hodnotu, pro kterou je důležité tyto objekty chránit a uchovávat pro budoucí generace. V této bakalářské práci se zabývám základními termíny jako je kulturní turismus. Dále se zabývám technickými a průmyslovými památkami v kontextu historickém a úlohami těchto objektů, které mají vliv na několik procesů v kulturním i běžném životě. Cílem této práce je prokázat pravdivost výše zmiňovaného.Technical and industrial cultural monuments are heritage of the Czech Republic, which have great potential use for cultural tourism. They also play an important role in tourism and in the life of people living around them. These roles are discussed in detail in my work. The potential of these sites is not only included in economic benefits. They also have a positive effect on regional development and socio-cultural environment. Industrial sites also have great historical value, which is important for these objects to protect and preserve it for future generations. This thesis, deals with basic terms such as cultural tourism. I also deal with the technical and industrial monuments in the historical context and the role of objects that have an impact on several processes in the cultural and everyday life.
