Transparência das demonstrações contábeis no terceiro setor e índices de estabilidade e eficiência : uma análise das entidades conveniadas junto ao Ministério Público do Distrito Federal

O terceiro setor é constituído por entidades não governamentais e sem fins lucrativos. Em sua maioria, apresentam-se sob a forma de fundações, e por isso, suas atividades são veladas pelo Ministério Público local. As demonstrações contábeis são importantes ferramentas para fornecer informações aos seus usuários (internos e externos), além de dar mais credibilidade junto à entidade supervisora, e principalmente frente aos seus patrocinadores. Para cumprir o objetivo proposto, selecionou-se amostra a partir de instituições sediadas em Brasília e que são obrigadas a prestar contas ao Ministério Público. Para observar os aspectos propostos, utilizou-se o conhecimento do conceito de transparência e das medidas de eficiência e estabilidade das citadas entidades, segundo preceituado no estudo de Trussel e Parsons (2008, apud Cunha, 2009

Cardiovascular Implications in Patients Infected with Covid-19 and the Importance of Social Isolation to Reduce Dissemination of the Disease

Respiratory symptoms, especially the development of severe acute respiratory distress syndrome, dominate the discussion and initial concerns of the population and health professionals. However, the cardiovascular system is greatly affected by these conditions and is often responsible for complications and mortality of these patients. In order to show the cardiovascular implications in patients infected with COVID-19 and the importance of social isolation as an alternative to curb the spread of the disease, a literature review was carried out based on 37 articles, in English, Portuguese and Spanish, available on Scielo and PubMed. The findings showed that cardiac complications associated with COVID-19 infection are similar to those produced by: severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and influenza. However, COVID-19 has a much greater and faster contamination and, unlike influenza, there is no vaccine or treatment available yet. In view of this, social isolation becomes a tool that can reduce and flatten the curve of cases and thus protect the people at higher risk, decreasing the chances of serious conditions related to the disease, potential deaths and the collapse of the country’s health system

Satisfacción de clientes sobre cuidados de enfermería en el contexto hospitalario

OBJECTIVE: To describe the methodology used to measure outpatient satisfaction with nursing care and to report their actual satisfaction scores. METHODS: This was a descriptive retrospective cross-sectional study. Data were collected from December 2003 through October 2005 from a database provided by the department of marketing of a large hospital in São Paulo City. RESULTS: The majority of outpatients (99%) were satisfied with nursing care. CONCLUSION: Outpatients satisfaction was due to their expectation, needs, and nursing care received.OBJETIVO: Describir la metodología utilizada para medir la satisfacción del cliente externo con relación a los cuidados de enfermería y presentar el índice de satisfacción de estos clientes en cuanto a los cuidados de enfermería. MÉTODOS: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, de corte transversal, retrospectivo y abordaje cuantitativo, realizado en una institución hospitalaria de gran porte localizada en la ciudad de São Paulo, en el período de diciembre del 2003 a octubre del 2005. El estudio fue elaborado a partir de datos proporcionados por el Departamento de Marketing de la Institución. RESULTADOS: Los resultados demostraron que el 99% de los clientes investigados (3.860) están satisfechos con los cuidados de enfermería. Mães que cuidam de filho (a)s com necessidades especiais na perspectiva de gênero

Objetivo: Compreender como as diferenças de gênero influenciam a vivência das mães no cuidado de filhos (as) com necessidades especiais. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo de abordagem qualitativa. As participantes da pesquisa foram quinze mães de filho (a)s com necessidades especiais. Os dados foram obtidos por meio da técnica de grupo focal. Resultados: Definiram-se três categorias de análise: Mães como figura central no cuidar do filho (a); as mudanças das relações sociais e interpessoais causadas pela situação do filho (a) e falta de informações sobre o diagnóstico do filho/ filha pelo profissional, que gerou a sub categoria dificuldade de lidar com uma situação nova.Conclusão: Os resultados  constataram que a mãe é a principal cuidadora dos filho (a)s com necessidades especiais corroborando para o enfoque de gênero. O CONTROLE DO MONITORAMENTO DE VIGILÂNCIA ELETRÔNICA DE PESSOAS SOB MEDIDAS CAUTELARES NO DISTRITO FEDERAL

The theme of this articleis "The control of electronic surveillance monitoring of people under precautionary measures in the Federal District". The following problem was investigated: "How is electronic surveillance being controlled in the Federal District?" The following hypothesis was considered "the electronic surveillance system is effective in the Federal District". The overall objective is to "analyze the institute of electronic surveillance monitoring". The specific objectives are: "to make a history of the electronic surveillance system"; "Analyze the system as a way to reduce prison"; "Analyze the criminal law of electronic monitoring". This paper focuses on an individual perspective to bring more knowledge about the subject; for science, study the protective measures and responses to social crimes that are given by the state and minimize the effects of violence that occur on social breasts; promotion of human rights from the perspective of society's security.O tema deste artigo é "O controle do monitoramento de vigilância eletrônica de pessoas sob medidas cautelares no Distrito Federal". Investigou-se o seguinte problema: "Como está sendo feito o controle da vigilância eletrônica no Distrito Federal?". Cogitou-se a seguinte hipótese "o sistema de vigilância eletrônica é eficaz no Distrito Federal". O objetivo geral é "analisar o instituto do monitoramento de vigilância eletrônica". Application of multiple criteria decision analysis (MCDA) for the selection of pharmacological treatments / Aplicação da análise de decisão baseada em múltiplos critérios para seleção de tratamentos farmacológicos

Introduction: Health Technology Assessment (HTA) is a tool that assists in the management of health systems, in which economic assessments are frequently applied. It is possible that the use of multicriteria analysis (MCDA) increases the quality of decisions. Objective: Identify the potentialities of the application of Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) in studies that used this type of method for the selection of treatments. Methods: An integrative review was executed based on articles where MCDA methods had been applied for the selection of treatments between February and April 2017 in the following databases: Pubmed (MEDLINE), Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Embase, Science Direct, Scopus, Web of Science and Wiley Online Library. Results: Eighteen studies published between 1998 and 2017 in which different MCDA techniques were applied were selected. Growth in the number of published studies was observed, showing increasing interest in the use of this type of method in health decision making. Conclusion: MCDA may guide more adequate decisions compared to the traditional Health Technology Assessment (HTA) methods and has the potential to help in the selection of treatments and the construction of medicines’ lists

Geo-Crowdsourcing Contributions for Cultural Mapping

Over the years, cultural mapping methods have been used in several applications and contexts, for diverse cultural assets and to create new conditions for the development of local and regional resources. These methods were inspired by the development of big urban centres and regions, which have been the great engine of cultural mapping growth. The main objectives of the present paper are to provide a literature review on cultural mapping methodologies and to develop exploratory research on crowdsource tools on creative tourism which were applied to one Portuguese municipality in 2017. The research was supported by the implementation and integration of geographic information systems (GIS) and web mapping, which will become part of the solution for the growth of less developed territories and to make more interactive tourist activities. Web mapping’s contribution to enhance crowd participation was measured via analysis of 12 digital photos shared through crowdsourcing. The originality of this research lies in the attempt to develop a new model for creative tourism, trying to extend the implementation of Web Mapping crowdsourcing to deprived low density territories. Results show how public participation can be amplified for the tourism market by crowdsourcing tools. These tools look very promising since they can help several members of the public at different ages to contribute to territorial knowledge, engage in activities, and collaborate through digital tools. It is a step to fulfil the lack of studies in this subject and it contributes to the way we think about future studies
