An ANP model to support decision-making in a Portuguese pharmaceutical supply chain

One of them is embracing Supply Chain Management (SCM) and considering it as a crucial asset if willing to compete in the marketplace. In the context of SCM, it is important to understand how Lean and Agile SCM paradigms are adopted as means of achieving an efficient Supply Chain (SC). Besides the mentioned paradigms, many Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and management practices come along with SCM, and it is important that SC managers identify the ones that bring the most competitive advantages. Iluminados pelos Livros – Promoção da Leitura através da Animação Artística

A leitura é uma atividade crítica para o desenvolvimento e para o progresso social. Esta atividade é imprescindível para compreender e interpretar o mundo que nos rodeia. Apesar da diversidade, cada vez maior, dos suportes para a leitura, justifica-se, ainda hoje, realçar a centralidade do livro, que se mantém, na cultura ocidental, há vários séculos. O póster “Iluminados pelos livros” resulta da reflexão, e pretende fazer refletir, sobre a promoção do livro e da leitura através da animação artística. Assim, destaca-se o impacto de uma instalação, parte do projeto “Procissão dos Livros”, implementado no âmbito do Mestrado em Animação Artística, na Escola Superior de Educação de Viseu, como apogeu de uma performance artística que percorreu as ruas da cidade, entre o parque Aquilino Ribeiro e a Biblioteca Municipal D. Miguel da Silva. Esta instalação voltou a ser apresentada ao público, num segundo momento, como forma de celebrar o dia mundial do livro (23 de abril de 2014). Adereços da “procissão”, manequins, livros e lâmpadas, tendo o ritual como mote inspirador, provocaram milhares de utilizadores da Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viseu, uma instituição direcionada para a formação científica, cultural, artística e técnica de profissionais do desporto, da educação, da comunicação e das artes, num átrio coberto por um lanço de escadas suspensas e ladeado por três painéis que integravam texto e imagem. A forma como, no projeto, houve a apropriação do ritual para promover a leitura despertou o interesse de um público diversificado e permitiu-lhe uma forma diferente de fruir uma manifestação artística, ao mesmo tempo que era interpelado para a leitura.CI&DETS - Instituto Politécnico de Vise

A Cloud Service Integration Architecture for the Hospitality Sector

We describe the design and implementation of an innovative software platform that enables hoteliers to configure custom solutions to manage their business, by building on multiple existing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. A flexible cloud integration mechanism uses “drivers” to communicate with various SaaS via their existing APIs. Selection of the solutions is made easy by the inclusion of a Marketplace, and the user experience is made seamless by an homogenous user interface (UI) that orchestrates the calls to the heterogenous underlying logic provided by multiple vendors. The resulting platform is, itself, offered as a SaaS, whose functionality is highly adaptable depending on the chosen integrations. These can be reconfigured at any time, thus avoiding lock-in to any particular one, and without incurring in the costs associated with retraining and learning curves of end-users. The core cloud integration architecture of the platform is generic, so it can be adapted for other domains. Doutoramento em MúsicaEsta investigação visa a criação de estratégias educativas para o ensino/aprendizagem da improvisação do tento de meio-registo de baixo, modelo composicional específico do repertório organístico da Península Ibérica nos séculos XVI a XVIII. Estas estratégias educativas concretizam-se numa proposta de manual de improvisação que deverá constituir-se como contributo didáctico, no âmbito do sistema de ensino, e como agente impulsionador da improvisação em órgão ibérico.The aim of the present research is to create learning and teaching stylistic improvisation strategies of middle register bass tiento, a composition model specific to Iberia’s sixteenth to eighteenth centuries organ repertoire. These educational strategies are expressed in an improvisation handbook proposal that should be considered as a didactic support within the educational system and as a boosting agent for the Iberian organ improvisation

1 recurso en línea (páginas 267-272) : ilustraciones color.Chloridea (Heliothis) subflexa (Guenée) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae: Heliothinae) is a frugivorous and monophagous species with plant hosts in the genus Physalis. In the last few years, the subflexus straw moth became the main pest-insect in tomatillo crops (Physalis ixocarpa Brotero) in Mexico and cape gooseberry (Physalis peruviana L.) crops in Argentina. The objective was to provide the first record of C. subflexa on P. peruviana in Brazil. The specimens were collected in the larval stage and kept on a natural diet until reaching the adult stage. Species identification was carried out based on morphological criteria. Damage from C. subflexa on P. peruviana fruits cultivated in an organic system were recorded. This is the first record in Brazil.Chloridea (Heliothis) subflexa (Guenée) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae: Heliothinae) es una especie frugívora y monófoga con hospederos que consta de las plantas del género Physalis. En los últimos años, gusano del tomato de cascara se convirtió en la principal plagas-insectos en cultivos de tomatillo (Physalis ixocarpa Brotero de México) y cultivo de la uchuva (Physalis peruviana L.) en Argentina. El objetivo fue reportar el primer registro de C. subflexa en P. peruviana en Brasil. Los especímenes se recogieron en la fase larvaria y se mantuvieron en una dieta natural hasta llegar a la etapa adulta. La identificación de especies se realizó en base a criterios morfológicos. Se registraron la presencia y daños causados por C. subflexa en frutos de P. peruviana, producidos en un sistema orgánico. Este es el primer registro para Brasil.Bibliografía: páginas 270-27
