Les perspectives d'e-Inclusion dans le secteur du handicap mental

International audienceDigital technologies have invaded our lives, professional or not. Using them allow new modes of communication, organization, production and exchange. However digital inequality is a fact and part of it seems to be a natural continuation of social inequality. People with mental and/or psychological disabilities, victims of stigmatizing social representations, are facing such inequalities. Indeed, in their workplace, they have to acquire skills in the use of these technologies. It´s a point of need to maintain competitiveness in Establishments and support services through work (Esat) that employ them. Beeing an e-Inclusion project manager within six Esat of Adapei 35, we had to find solutions to spread the use of digital technologies among these persons in their work environment. By adapting the technologies and teaching methods during a touch pads experiment with 80 workers, we have implemented an action research. The purpose was to study the processes of personal, professional and institutional appropriation of these technologies. Whether participants have adopted the technology, they also demonstrated abilities and developed new skills.Résumé Les technologies numériques ont envahi notre quotidien et notre vie professionnelle. Leurs usages permettent de nouveaux modes de communica-tion, d'organisation, de production et d'échange. Mais il existe des inégali-tés numériques qui semblent être le prolongement d'inégalités sociales. Les personnes en situation de handicap mental et/ou psychique, victimes de représentations sociales stigmatisantes, sont confrontées à ces inégalités. Cependant, dans le cadre de leur activité professionnelle, on leur demande d'acquérir des compétences dans les usages de ces technologies, afin de maintenir une compétitivité dans les Établissements et services d'aide par le travail (Esat) qui les emploient. Chargés de mission e-Inclusion au sein des six Esat de l'Adapei 35, nous devions trouver des solutions pour diffuser l'usage des technologies numériques auprès de ces personnes dans le cadre de leurs activités professionnelles. En adaptant les technologies et les métho-des pédagogiques associées lors d'une expérimentation avec des tablettes tactiles auprès de 80 travailleurs, nous avons mis en oeuvre une recherche-action qui avait pour objectif d'étudier les processus d'appropriation per-sonnels, professionnels et institutionnels de ces technologies. International audienceIn this article, we note that an activity cannot be only defined by its effective form and knowledge of the field concerned which is brought into play. We propose to define an activity by knowledge of the field of training brought into play, by its form but also in what it can influence the state of knowledge of learning and the means that one has to check this impact. We propose here our results of multi-field research carried out around the specification and the modeling of teaching activities in the field of the reading with an aim of building an environment of follow-up of learning. We present the methodology of work practised in the team, the structure of the specifications of activities, the computational models deduced and finally their implementation in an environment from follow-up from learning.Dans cet article, nous constatons qu'une activité ne peut pas être définie uniquement par sa forme effective et les connaissances du domaine visé qui sont mises en jeu. Nous proposons de définir une activité par les connaissances du domaine d'apprentissage mises en jeu, par sa forme mais également en ce qu'elle peut influer l'état de connaissance de l'apprenant et les moyens que l'on a de vérifier cet impact. Nous proposons ici nos résultats de recherche pluridisciplinaire menés autour de la spécification et la modélisation d'activités pédagogiques dans le domaine de la lecture dans le but de construire un environnement de suivi de l'apprenant. Nanodevices for correlated electrical transport and structural investigation of individual carbon nanotubes

We report a new approach to the correlation of the structural properties and the transport properties of carbon nanotubes. Through an original combination of UV lithography, custom-made photosensitive sol–gel resist and deep reactive ion etching (RIE), we have successfully integrated membrane technology and nanodevice fabrication for the electrical connection of individual carbon nanotubes. After single wall nanotube (SWNT) deposition by molecular combing and contacting using high resolution electron beam lithography, we obtain a device that allows both the investigation of the nanotubes and the contact regions by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and the measurement of the electronic transport properties of the same individual nano-object. The whole fabrication process is detailed and the demonstration that the micro membranes are suitable for both TEM inspection and nanoelectrode fabrication is given

International audienceWe did not discuss subjects that are still not well understood and still being debated since the title of our paper includes "review". We did not review and discuss all aspects of the theoretical background based on microscaled thermodynamics because we focused on field applications in hydrogeophysics. Moreover we submitted our manuscript in 2008 and thus did not acknowledge any paper published in 2009. However this comment is of interest because it gives us the opportunity to provide more precision by answering some points
