In organizational environments, such as in hospitals, data have to be processed, preserved, and shared with other organizations in a cost-efficient manner. Moreover, organizations have to accomplish different mandatory non-functional requirements imposed by the laws, protocols, and norms of each country. In this context, this paper presents a Federated Content Distribution System to build infrastructure-agnostic health data synchronization services. In this federation, each hospital manages local and federated services based on a pub/sub model. The local services manage users and contents (i.e., medical imagery) inside the hospital, whereas federated services allow the cooperation of different hospitals sharing resources and data. Data preparation schemes were implemented to add non-functional requirements to data. Moreover, data published in the content distribution system are automatically synchronized to all users subscribed to the catalog where the content was published. This work has been partially supported by the grant “CABAHLA-CM: Convergencia Big data-Hpc: de Los sensores a las Aplicaciones” (Ref: S2018/TCS-4423) of Madrid Regional Government; the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation Project ” New Data Intensive Computing Methods for High-End and Edge Computing Platforms (DECIDE)”. [EN] The implementation of the pedagogical model has meant an increase in rigour and coherence in Physical Education (PE) classes. The objectives of the study were twofold; (a) to delimit the characteristics and elements that make up Attitudinal Style as a pedagogical model; (b) to analyze the perception of future teachers on the usefulness and transferability of the model in their classes. Twelve future PE teachers (seven women and five men) with an age of 20.14 ± 1.48 participated. All of them were part of the University of Burgos (Spain). A qualitative approach was used with two data collection instruments (reflective group journals and discussion group) and two categories of analysis were established: (a) usefulness in the construction of professional identity; (b) transferability of the Attitudinal Style in the school. The results showed how future PE teachers consider the model as a transcendental methodological tool in understanding and addressing PE at school. Interpersonal relationships in the classroom, student autonomy and group responsibility are highlighted as necessary aspects with high transferability to the school.S

Due to the multifactorial origin of non carious cervical lesions (NCCL) and the absence of a specific standardization to characterize them, it has been difficult for the clinician to establish a good diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. Objective: To establish an updated guide on the Diagnosis and treatment of NCCL in the literature. Methods: A scoping review of the scientific literature of the last five years was carried out on the clinical strategies reported for the diagnosis and treatment of NCCL. Three searches were performed in Medline / Pubmed using "NCCL", "non carious cervical lesions", "non-carious cervical lesions" respectively. The citation manager EndNoteX9 eliminated duplicates, which were subsequently manually selected through a complete review by parts of those related to LCNC, finally obtaining 40 articles. Results: The main risk factors for NCCL are an acidic environment, inadequate brushing technique and occlusal stress. The morphology of these lesions is directly related to them and to their main etiology: biocorrosion, abrasion and abfraction. The dentin in these is hypermineralized, so a prior surface conditioning must be carried out, both for adhesive systems and their resins and for the use of self-adhesive materials such as glass ionomer. Conclusion: The present study was unable to establish an updated guide on the diagnosis and treatment of NCCL. However, with the available evidence, a guide or recommendations can be followed to carry out the best possible treatment

The relationship between socioeconomic mobility and school levels has been thematized since the generalization of modern institutionalized education systems. The demand for Chilean quality education is associated with exitism and the formation of Human Capital, crashing with mismatches between public policies, the crisis of legitimization of public education, and the Latin American epistemic advance that influences the pedagogical exercise through critical pedagogy or decolonization as a new way of organizing / re-creating knowledge. Thus, the teacher is required from two dichotomous currents, which makes him a vortex with unusual edges. This article of reflection seeks to expose some aspects of these contradictions, addressing the theory of Human Capital in education and the decolonization of pedagogy, in relation to the expected role of teachers in Chile.

The objective of this work was to determine the nutritional content and the degradability of the dry matter and protein of fruits of Chloroleucon mangense and Acacia cochliacantha and of a 1:1 mixture of both, offered as supplements to Rambouillet sheep. In situ ruminal degradation was evaluated in three adult rams, fitted with a rumen cannula, with different incubation times of 0, 6, 12, 24, 48, and 72 hours. Protein intestinal degradability was quantified with a three-step procedure: in situ ruminal incubation, in vitro enzymatic digestion, and abomasal-intestinal digestion. The fruits of C. mangense and A. cochliacantha contain 21 and 12% crude protein, 47 and 56% neutral detergent fiber, 31 and 43% acid detergent fiber, and 0.9 and 6.0% condensed tannins, respectively. The fruits of C. mangense showed a higher nutritional value and a higher  dry matter and crude protein degradability (p<0.05) than those of A. cochliacantha and the 1:1 mixture. The amount of protein that reaches the small intestine is higher for the 1:1, which is an indicative that its tannin concentration is enough to increase the bypass protein that can be absorbed in the small intestine.O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar o conteúdo nutricional e a degradabilidade da matéria seca e da proteína de frutos de Cloroleucon mangense e Acacia cochliacantha e de uma mistura 1:1 de ambos, oferecidos como suplementos para carneiros Rambouillet.

CD/CV: Blockchain-based schemes for continuous verifiability and traceability of IoT data for edge-fog-cloud

    Get PDF
This paper presents a continuous delivery/continuous verifiability (CD/CV) method for IoT dataflows in edge¿fog¿cloud. A CD model based on extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) mechanism as well as a directed acyclic graph (DAG) construction, enable end-users to create efficient schemes for the continuous verification and validation of the execution of applications in edge¿fog¿cloud infrastructures. This scheme also verifies and validates established execution sequences and the integrity of digital assets. CV model converts ETL and DAG into business model, smart contracts in a private blockchain for the automatic and transparent registration of transactions performed by each application in workflows/pipelines created by CD model without altering applications nor edge¿fog¿cloud workflows. This model ensures that IoT dataflows delivers verifiable information for organizations to conduct critical decision-making processes with certainty. A containerized parallelism model solves portability issues and reduces/compensates the overhead produced by CD/CV operations. We developed and implemented a prototype to create CD/CV schemes, which were evaluated in a case study where user mobility information is used to identify interest points, patterns, and maps. The experimental evaluation revealed the efficiency of CD/CV to register the transactions performed in IoT dataflows through edge¿fog¿cloud in a private blockchain network in comparison with state-of-art solutions. This work has been partially supported by the project “CABAHLA-CM: Convergencia Big data-Hpc: de los sensores a las Aplicaciones” S2018/TCS-4423 from Madrid Regional Government, Spain and by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation Project “New Data Intensive Computing Methods for High-End and Edge Computing Platforms (DECIDE)”.
