Innovación en la logística y análisis estratégico de Mercadona s.a

En este trabajo se llevará a cabo un análisis estratégico de la empresa Mercadona, con el fin de estudiar la evolución de la empresa desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad mediante los siguientes procedimientos: En primer lugar, se tratará la historia de Mercadona desde los inicios hasta la actualidad, además de explicar el modelo de negocio conocido como “Modelo de calidad total”. En segundo lugar, se realizará un análisis estratégico dividido en un análisis externo donde se analiza el entorno general mediante un análisis PESTEL y el entorno competitivo mediante las 5 fuerzas de Porter. Por otro lado, se realiza un análisis interno, donde destaca el análisis de la cadena de valor y el análisis DAFO. Sin olvidarnos de su orientación futura donde se tratan los temas de visión, misión y valores que sigue la empresa. En tercer lugar, se llevará a cabo un análisis de las estrategias corporativas, centrando el análisis en las ventajas competitivas que lleva a cabo Mercadona, y por otro lado las estrategias competitivas de manera global, pero centrándonos en cada uno de los puntos que componen tanto las direcciones como el método de desarrollo. Por último, indagaremos en que procesos ha llevado a Mercadona a construir un entramado logístico a la cabeza en innovación y cómo evoluciona.In this work, a strategic analysis of Mercadona will be carried out, in order to study the evolution of the company from its beginnings to nowadays through the following procedures: In the first place, the history of Mercadona will be discussed from its beginnings to the present, in addition to explaining the business model known as the "Total Quality Model". Secondly, a strategic analysis divided into an external analysis will be carried out where the general environment is analyzed through a PESTEL analysis and the competitive environment through Porter's 5 forces. On the other hand, an internal analysis is carried out, where the analysis of the value chain and the SWOT analysis stand out. Without forgetting its future orientation where the issues of vision, mission and values that the company follows are discussed. Thirdly, an analysis of corporate strategies will be carried out, focusing the analysis on the competitive advantages carried out by Mercadona, and on the other hand the competitive strategies globally, but focusing on each of the points that make up both addresses as the method of development. Finally, we will investigate what processes have led Mercadona to build a logistics network at the forefront of innovation and how it evolves

Dysregulation of mTOR Signaling after Brain Ischemia

In this review, we provide recent data on the role of mTOR kinase in the brain under physiological conditions and after damage, with a particular focus on cerebral ischemia. We cover the upstream and downstream pathways that regulate the activation state of mTOR complexes. Furthermore, we summarize recent advances in our understanding of mTORC1 and mTORC2 status in ischemia–hypoxia at tissue and cellular levels and analyze the existing evidence related to two types of neural cells, namely glia and neurons. Finally, we discuss the potential use of mTORC1 and mTORC2 as therapeutic targets after stroke. © 2022 by the authors. Licensee MDPI, Basel, Switzerlan

National scientific policies in Latin America: The case of Ecuador and Colombia

National policies critically affect the results of scientific production and communication in Latin American countries. Currently, these countries are developing and adapting to the assessment and quality schemes that have existed for some time in other advanced countries in the field of science. Political and economic conditions in Latin America have been favorable in the last five years, although only a few Latin American countries have taken advantage of this situation. In this paper public policies in science in Ecuador and Colombia are analyzed. The objective is to stimulate scientific production and enhance the overall research ecosystem of these two countries. The findings focus primarily on the differences detected in their respective investment policies, their higher education systems, and the volume and quality of their scientific production

Políticas científicas públicas en Latino América: el caso de Ecuador y Colombia

Las políticas nacionales inciden de forma crítica en los resultados de producción y comunicación científica que experimentan en la actualidad los países latinoamericanos. Estos países están en un momento de desarrollo y adaptación a los esquemas de evaluación y calidad que existen en otros países más avanzados en el campo de la ciencia. Las condiciones políticas y económicas de esta región latinoamericana han sido favorables en el último lustro, aunque pocos de estos países han aprovechado este momento. En este trabajo se analizan las diferentes políticas públicas de ciencia que se implementan en dos países latinoamericanos, Colombia y Ecuador, para estimular la producción científica y potenciar el ecosistema integral de investigación de cada uno de esos dos país. La conclusiones se centran, principalmente, sobre las diferencias detectadas en sus respectivas políticas de inversión, sus sistemas educativos superiores, y el volumen y la calidad de su producción científica

Analysis of production and scientific visibility of Ecuador in the Andean context (2000-2013)

A quantitative analysis of the scientific production of Ecuador in the Andean context is provided for 2000-2013, using data provided by the SCImago journal & country rank (SJR). We identified the indicators of absolute production and growth rate, and used three indicators to evaluate visibility: absolute citation, cites per document and international collaboration. We concluded that 1) Ecuador enjoyed positive growth in scientific production during the study period, except in 2010 and 2011; 2) it rebounded at the end of the period analyzed; 3) half of the production was in the areas of agriculture and medicine, which therefore appeared as the main areas of national scientific development; and 4) the most productive area, agriculture, was also the most cited

A Model-Driven Framework for Domain Specific Process Design and Governance

Current BPM approaches and standards have not sufficiently reduced the Business-IT gap. Indeed, today's solutions are mostly domainindependent and platform-dependent, which limits the ability of business matter experts to express business intent and enact process change. In contrast, the tool presented in this paper supports an approach that focuses on BPM and SOA environments in a domain-dependent and platform-independent way. We propose to add a domain specific-layer on top of current solutions so that business stakeholders can design and understand their processes in a more intuitive way. For it was used it a sample of 12 athletes of a total of 20, the study it is of great importance for the necessity of carrying out changes in the forms and work styles that allow to face the transformations and demands that today with more urgency emanates the competition.A partir del estudio teórico previo y el diagnóstico preliminar realizado en la presente investigación, por medio de la aplicación de encuestas a entrenadores y la revisión de documentos oficiales, se constató que los entrenadores aún le es insuficiente el desempeño para la dirección de habilidades técnicas que potencien posteriormente la acción de atacar en el tashi waza, careciendo de diferentes sistema de ejercicios que respondan  a las exigencias de las primeras etapas período etario escolar, que a la vez ofreciera un alto grado de seguridad en el criterio emitido en el momento de preparar los judokas”, lo que evidenció que este tema no estaba abordado de forma tal que respondiera a las exigencias de las circunstancias históricas concretas en que se desarrolla el deporte en la actualidad, por lo que estudiarlo cada vez con mayor cientificidad entraña una marcada necesidad. Convertidores electrónicos de potencia para alimentar LEDs de iluminación desde tensiones muy bajas

En resumen, se va a estudiar cómo alimentar un LED con tensión de codo entorno de los 3 V desde una única celda de batería de tensión comprendida entre 1,2 y 2 V. En el artículo se valorarán y compararán dos tipos de convertidores para esta aplicación: convertidores CC/CC estándar con diodo Schottky (en vez de diodo PN) y una nueva familia de convertidores CC/CC expresamente pensados para ser usados con LEDs en los que el diodo de la topología es el propio LED. Survival outcomes in laryngeal chondrosarcoma: a systematic review

[Abstract] Laryngeal chondrosarcomas (LCS) are rare lesions that behave as locally aggressive tumours, producing symptoms such as dysphonia, dyspnoea, dysphagia and hoarseness. Different approaches for the treatment of LCS have been described in the literature. The main purpose of this investigation was to find all cases of LCS published to date and analyse management data and survival outcomes. In December 2020, a systematic review was performed following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and the Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS) method including articles published up to this date on different aspects of LCS. The search included the terms larynx, laryngeal, chondrosarcoma. A total of 148 articles were included in this systematic review describing 381 cases of LCS. Dyspnoea was the most reported symptom followed by hoarseness and neck mass sensation. Cricoid cartilage was the most usual location. Survival rate was influenced by both surgical technique (log-rank = 11.7; p = 0.008) and the degree of tumour histologic differentiation (log-rank = 18.3; p = 0.003)

Las políticas públicas de control de la criminalidad en Medellín

RESUMEN: El artículo tiene el propósito de mostrar algunos análisis y observaciones preliminares sobre el problema de la criminalidad en Medellín y sobre el mucho más complejo problema de la respuesta institucional y social al fenómeno. Se alude a las relaciones entre decisiones políticas propias de este ámbito y las que, real o simbólicamente, apuntan a conjurar problemas de una índole que trascienden. Ello, de paso, remite al problema de la subordinación o superposición de otras decisiones políticas o de políticas publicas referidas a problemáticas distintas de la cuestión criminal
