Game Server for On-Line Gaming

Bakalářská práce pojednává o vývoji a tvorbě aplikace herního serveru pro podporu on-line her. Zabývá se klasifikací existujících podobných aplikací, síťovým rozhraním a herní logikou. Dále ukazuje možné použití knihovny ENet, SDL a OpenGL. Demonstruje funkčnost navrženého serveru na jednoduchých hrách.Bachelor's thesis deals with development and creation application of Game Server for On-line Gaming. It deals with the classification of existing similar applications, network interface and game logic. It shows the possible use of library ENet, SDL and OpenGL. It demonstrates the functionality of the proposed server on simple games.

Tato práce se zabývá plánováním cesty neholonomního robota použitím pravděpodobnostních algoritmů. V teoretické části je rozebrán obecně problém hledání cest. Následně se pak práce zaměří na pravděpodobnostní algoritmy. Praktická část se zabývá návrhem a implementací appletu a webových stránek jenž demonstrují některé druhy pravděpodobnostních algoritmů na uživatelem zadaných objektech.This work deals with the path finding for nonholonomic robots using probabilistic algorithms. The theoretical part analyzes the general problem of finding routes. Subsequently, the work will focus on probabilistic algorithms. The practical part describes design of the applet and web sites that demonstrate probabilistic algorithms to user-specified objects.

On the publication of the five-volume edition of word-formation: An international handbook of the languages of Europe

All the volumes of the publication Word-Formation: An International Handbook of the Languages of Europe can be useful to an internationalisation of the discipline of word-formation and can raise new theoretical and methodological questions, finding alternative solutions (including a critical appraisal of certain views or a new evaluation of the existent approaches). In any case, the survey of research published in several countries, foregrounding certain theories and methodologies and their possible limitations by the languages that form its subject-matter, and in general, a broad spectrum of open questions may also be stimulating to a new view of the languages under scrutiny. Besides, those volumes offer an abundance of material for future comparative studies of both theoretical aspects and their application in studying matters of word-formation and usage, also including those based on the material from the languages that are not (closely) related

Описание модификационных словообразовательных средств в грамматиках славянских языков (18/19 вв.)

In the first Russian grammars and in the Universal grammars, published in Russia in the 18th/19th c., the techniques of derivational modification were a constituent part of the description of word-formation. Some authors even regarded the rich repertoire of affixes with modificational meanings as a privilege of Russian (and the Slavic language family) compared to other languages. Since the very beginning, it has also been recognized that there is a specific connection between modificational meanings and the attitudes of the speakers towards the denotatum and/or the addressee, i. e. - in contemporary terms - an interplay of modification and pragmatics. This interrelation was increasingly highlighted in Slavic grammars for non-native speakers in the 19th c. and has become an indispensable issue in modern Slavic grammatography and lexicography as well as in theoretical research

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the issue of mango wasting on a specific farm in the Greater Accra Region in a developing country, Ghana.
