Factores de Riesgo en la Automedicacion de Adultos en Santa Rosa Jaureui, Queretaro

Introducción: La automedicación es considerada como la libertad para consumir medicamentos sin prescripción médica, para el tratamiento de enfermedades o síntomas reconocidos por el paciente. Objetivo: Analizar los factores de riesgo para la automedicación en adultos que acuden al Centro de Salud de Santa Rosa Jáuregui, Querétaro. Material y métodos: Estudio transversal con enfoque cuantitativo donde el universo de estudio fueron adultos que acuden al centro de salud de Santa Rosa Jáuregui. Como instrumento se utilizó el “Cuestionario para los factores” y el “Cuestionario para la automedicación”. La muestra fue de 185 encuestados. Resultados: El 51.35 % de las personas manifiestan automedicarse por decisión propia. Los principales grupos farmacológicos usados para la práctica de automedicación son por analgésicos no esteroideos (AINES) con 86.48%, el grupo de tracto alimentario y metabolismo con igualdad de porcentaje con el grupo de antiinfecciosos para uso sistémico con el 57.29% ambos. Conclusiones: La automedicación constituye un hecho cotidiano en la mayoría de los hogares. Las personas consideran útil debido a la mejoría de sus síntomas.   Introduction: Self-medication is considered as the freedom to consume medicines without a doctor's prescription, for the treatment of diseases or symptoms recognized by the patient. Objective: To analyze the risk factors for self-medication in adults attending the Santa Rosa Jáuregui Health Center, Querétaro. Material and methods: Cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach where the universe of the study was adults attending the health center of Santa Rosa Jáuregui. The "Questionnaire for factors" and the "Questionnaire for self-medication" were used as instruments. The sample consisted of 185 respondents. Results: 51.35% of the people said that they self-medicate by choice. The main pharmacological groups used for the practice of self-medication are non-steroidal analgesics (NSAIDs) with 86.48%, the group of alimentary tract and metabolism with equal percentage with the group of anti-infectives for systemic use with 57.29% both. Conclusions: Self-medication is a daily occurrence in most households. People find it useful because of the improvement of their symptoms

La crisis política, los movimientos sociales y el futuro de la democracia en México

México está atravesando una crisis multidimensional; tanto en lo económico, como en lo político, moral y social, confronta radicales disyuntivas. Para explicar el origen de esta crisis, su evolución reciente y sus posibles vías de desenlace, en el artículo se analizan las limitaciones de la transición mexicana a la democracia, y por tanto, las razones de la continuidad institucional, legal y cultural del viejo régimen. A su vez, se estudia la aceleración de la crisis desde el regreso del Partido de la Revolución Institucional a la presidencia de la república (2012) y el lanzamiento del proyecto restaurador. Finalmente, se presenta la evolución y los retos estratégicos de los nuevos movimientos sociales de protesta y los posibles derroteros de la actual lucha entre la restauración autoritaria y democratización.Mexico is going through a multidimensional crisis; in economics as well as in the realms of politics, morals and society, it faces radical quandaries. To explain the origins of this crisis, its recent evolution and its possible outcomes, this article analyzes the limitations of the Mexican transition to democracy and, therefore, the rationale behind the institutional, legal and cultural continuity of the previous regime. It also addresses the acceleration of the crisis since the Partido Revolucionario Institucional returned to the presidency (2012) and launched a restoration project. Effect of the RGB Wavelengths of LED Light on Growth Rates of Nile Tilapia Fry in Biofloc Technology (BFT) Systems

This research evaluates the effect of wavelengths of the light on growth rates of Nile tilapia fry in the order of improving sustainability in aquaculture production. For this purpose, four tanks of water with tilapias were studied. Three tanks were illuminated with LED lamps each one with monochromatic peak wavelengths (): Blue light (BL) tank with = 451.67 nm, Green light (GL) with = 513.33 nm and Red light (RL) tank with = 627.27 nm. All tanks were illuminated with a light intensity of 0.832 ⁄2, and they had a photoperiod of 18L:6D throughout the study. Besides, the fourth tank was illuminated only by Natural light (NL) tank, which had the function of witness tank. Each treatment included the fourth, were randomly assigned to 150L tanks that were stocked with 122 Nile tilapia fry. The Nile tilapia fry had an initial average weight of 0.24 ± 0.01 , and were grown for 73 days. The average final weight for BL, GL, RL and NL treatments were 15.54 g, 16.84 g, 17.27 g and 16.22 g, respectively. The results suggest that Nile tilapia fry was positively influenced by the red light wavelength, which was represented in the greatest mass gain

Software-based Implementation of Secure AES Frame Encryption (SAFE) for CAN FD in Multicore Environment

The SAFE kernel software implementation was born as an inexpensive alternative from the original implementation which uses a field programmable gate array (FPGA). This paper proposes to replace the FPGA with a microprocessor, which will drastically reduce the cost of the implementation. The new implementation includes the MIMXRT1170 EVK that integrates two microprocessors, a Cortex M4 running at 400 MHz and a Cortex M7 running at 1 GHz. After the software implementation, the multicore environment met the required time deadlines and achieved the desire performance, keeping the CAN FD bus occupation at 100% and the encryption and decryption time less than 50 microseconds, which represents 25% of the microprocessor overhead. In future works the implementation could be adjusted to one microprocessor, such as the cortex M7 due to it is powerful capability to process data which also reduces the cost and the complexity of the implementation.ITESO, A.
