Measurement of and Structure Functions in Low Region with the IHEP-JINR Neutrino Detector
The isoscalar structure functions and are measured as functions
of averaged over all permissible for the range of 6 to 28 GeV of
incident neutrino (anti-neutrino) energy at the IHEP-JINR Neutrino Detector.
The QCD analysis of structure function provides
MeV under the assumption of QCD
validity in the region of low . The corresponding value of the strong
interaction constant agrees with the
recent result of the CCFR collaboration and with the combined LEP/SLC result.Comment: 11 pages, 1 Postscript figure, LaTeX. Talk given at the 7th

Determination of the high-twist contribution to the structure function
We extract the high-twist contribution to the neutrino-nucleon structure
function from the analysis of the data collected by
the IHEP-JINR Neutrino Detector in the runs with the focused neutrino beams at
the IHEP 70 GeV proton synchrotron. The analysis is performed within the
infrared renormalon (IRR) model of high twists in order to extract the
normalization parameter of the model. From the NLO QCD fit to our data we
obtained the value of the IRR model normalization parameter
. We
also obtained from a similar fit to the CCFR data. The average of both results is

Antiproton stopping power in He in the energy range 1–900 keV and the Barkas effect
AbstractThe p¯ stopping power in helium from 1 keV kinetic energy is evaluated. Contrary to the effect observed around and below the maximum, Obelix data indicate a p¯ stopping power higher than that for proton, the difference being of the order of 15±5% at ≈700 keV. The result contributes to assert the fundamental difference between p¯ stoppings in the simplest gases (He, H2) and in solid targets below some MeV
Study of the f(0)(1500)/f(2)(1565) production in the exclusive annihilation anti-n.anti-p -> pi+.pi+.pi- in flight
The spin-parity analysis of the (n) over bar p --> pi(+)pi(+)pi(-) exclusive reaction in flight is presented. The main aim is to study the (pi(+)pi(-)) invariant mass spectrum in the region around 1500 MeV. The analysis was performed with a Breit-Wigner parametrization for all the resonant states and, for the scalar sector in the mass region below 1.2 GeV, by means of a K-matrix-like treatment. It clearly shows the need for two states, a scalar one (0(++)) with mass and width (1522+/-25) MeV and (108+/-33) MeV, and a tensorial one (2(++)) with mass (1575 +/-18) MeV and width (119+/-24) MeV, respectively. In addition, the analysis requires the presence of a scalar state at (1280+/-55) MeV, (323+/-13) MeV broad, and of a second vectorial one, in addition to the rho(0)(770) signal, with mass and width (1348+/-33) MeV and (275+/-10) MeV, respectively

P̄D̄ 4 and p He annihilation cross sections at very low energy
The p̄D and p̄ 4 He total annihilation cross sections have been measured with the Obelix apparatus at LEAR at, respectively, three and two values of the p incident momentum between 70 MeV/c and 36 MeV/c. The values of the p̄D annihilation cross section, at such low energies, are in agreement with a surprising result obtained in a recent low statistics measurement of the antiprotonic deuterium K α X-rays [M. Augsburger et al., Phys. Lett. B 461 (1999) 417] (see following article), concerning the unexpected narrow width of the antiprotonic deuterium Is leve
New measurements of the p̄p annihilation cross section at very low energy
The pp total annihilation cross section has been measured at four values of the p incident momentum, between 70 MeV/c and 38 MeV/c, with the Obelix apparatus at LEAR. The new measurements are in agreement with the trend of previous measurements of the pp total annihilation cross section at low energy, performed by the Obelix experiment [A. Bertin et al., Phys. Lett. B 369 (1996) 77; A. Benedettini et al., Nucl. Phys. B (Proc. Suppl.) 56A (1997) 58], as well as with a fit of the latter data based on a low energy expansion of the scattering amplitude [J. Carbonell, K. V. Protasov, A. Zenoni, Phys. Lett. B 397 (1997) 345]. The departure of the annihilation cross section from a smooth behaviour, suggested by a previous measurement of the cross section around 44 MeV/c [A. Bertin et al., Phys. Lett. B 369 (1996) 77], is not confirmed by the new data
Measurement of the anti-p d --> phi n Pontecorvo reaction for antiproton annihilation at rest
The results of an investigation of the Pontecorvo reaction pd to phi n with stopped antiprotons in a gaseous deuterium target at NTP are presented. A very selective dedicated trigger was used to collect a sample of about 8.5*10/sup 6/ annihilations. It is found that the annihilation rate is Y(pd to phi n)=(3.56+or-0.20/sub -0.1//sup +0.2 /)*10/sup -6/. Comparison with the corresponding value for the omega -meson production demonstrates a large (a factor 40) apparent violation of the OZI rule, even larger than that found in the annihilation on a free nucleon.
