    Get PDF
The fishing industry is an important component of the economy of Ukraine at the present stage of development. The development and implementation of the innovative technologies in fish farming and fish processing require mandatory and ongoing analysis of a fish market infrastructure. The demand for food protein, which is characterized by a balanced amino acid content is provided by fish and seafood at 20–30 %. The aim of this work was to understand a current state of a fish products market in Ukraine, its pricing and consumption. Based on the specialized literature the evaluation of a current state of fish and fish products consumption in Ukraine and own studies of the price category of fish products in Ukraine in recent years were conducted. We studied fish and fish products consumption per year per capita in Ukraine over the last 20 years, assortment of fish in Ukraine, the import of fish and fishery products by species, the product prices in UAH per kg both in previous years and today. According to international medical standards the annual consumption of fish and seafood should be 20 kg per person. At the same time in Ukraine according to the State Statistics Committee on the 01.01.2019 14.5 kg of fish and seafood came out per capita. In 2018–2019 herring traditionally remained a leader of consumption in Ukraine. Ukraine also imported such species of fish: mackerel, hake, herring, salmon, pilchards, pollack, capelin, sardines, notating. In addition pangasius, shrimp, blue whiting, mussels, squid, saury, Jack mackerel, sea bass, tuna, flounder, anchovies, smelt, cod, salmon and other species of fish, caviar and seafood are imported in Ukraine. The investigated assortment of fish in Ukraine is represented both domestic and imported products. The domestic production are: carp, pike, capelin, herring, mackerel, sprat, the imported products are: flounder, perch, pangasius, salmon, butter, hake, Pollock, capelin, nototenia, herring, mackerel, cod, tuna, tilapia (sole), sea trout, whiting and so forth. It is established that the condition of a fish market in Ukraine is affected by an unstable economic and political situation in the country, low solvency of the population, corruption and the high payables of the enterprises. In Ukraine a tendency towards a decrease in the volume of fish and fish products consumption by the population of Ukraine is observed annually, which is a consequence of the decline in fish catch and fish production, depreciation of fixed assets and a lack of financial support to the fishing industry

Androidal Fat Dominates in Predicting Cardiometabolic Risk in Postmenopausal Women

    Get PDF
We hypothesized that soy isoflavones would attenuate the anticipated increase in androidal fat mass in postmenopausal women during the 36-month treatment, and thereby favorably modify the circulating cardiometabolic risk factors: triacylglycerol, LDL-C, HDL-C, glucose, insulin, uric acid, C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, and homocysteine. We collected data on 224 healthy postmenopausal women at risk for osteoporosis (45.8–65 y, median BMI 24.5) who consumed placebo or soy isoflavones (80 or 120 mg/d) for 36 months and used longitudinal analysis to examine the contribution of isoflavone treatment, androidal fat mass, other biologic factors, and dietary quality to cardiometabolic outcomes. Except for homocysteine, each cardiometabolic outcome model was significant (overall P-values from ≤.0001 to .0028). Androidal fat mass was typically the strongest covariate in each model. Isoflavone treatment did not influence any of the outcomes. Thus, androidal fat mass, but not isoflavonetreatment, is likely to alter the cardiometabolic profile in healthy postmenopausal women

The research of the maximum wind speed in Tomsk and calculations of dynamic load on antenna systems

    Get PDF
The work is concerned with calculations and analysis of the maximum wind speed in Tomsk city. The data for analysis were taken from the TOR-station located in the north-eastern part of the city. The TOR-station sensors to measure a speed and a direction of wind are installed on the 10-meter meteorological mast. Wind is measured by M-63, which uses the standard approach and the program with one-minute averaging for wind gusts recording as well. According to the measured results in the research performed, the estimation of the dynamic and wind load on different types of antenna systems was performed. The work shows the calculations of wind load on ten types of antenna systems, distinguished by their different constructions and antenna areas. For implementation of calculations, we used methods developed in the Central Research and Development Institute of Building Constructions named after V.A. Kucherenko. The research results could be used for design engineering of the static antenna systems and mobile tracking systems for the distant objects

Complex experiment on studying the microphysical, chemical, and optical properties of aerosol particles and estimating the contribution of atmospheric aerosol-to-earth radiation budget

The primary objective of this complex aerosol experiment was the measurement of microphysical, chemical, and optical properties of aerosol particles in the surface air layer and free atmosphere. The measurement data were used to retrieve the whole set of aerosol optical parameters, necessary for radiation calculations. Three measurement cycles were performed within the experiment during 2013: in spring, when the aerosol generation is maximal; in summer (July), when atmospheric boundary layer altitude and, hence, mixing layer altitude are maximal; and in late summer/early autumn, during the period of nucleation of secondary particles. Thus, independently obtained data on the optical, meteorological, and microphysical parameters of the atmosphere allow intercalibration and inter-complement of the data and thereby provide for qualitatively new information which explains the physical nature of the processes that form the vertical structure of the aerosol field

The objective of the work is the experimental testing of the noise level by the lines of spectrum of the experimental gear pump with helical toothing and the comparison with the noise level of a serial pump. The article presents the results of tests of noise characteristics of the experimental gear pump with helical toothing. The levels of noise, noise spectrums of the experimental gear pump with helical toothing and a serial pump of the analogical size with straight toothing were investigated using different operating modes. The comparative analysis of noise characteristics of the pumps under different load was carried out in order to estimate the efficiency of using helical toothing in gear pumps from the point of view of noise reduction. Experiments of the noise level of a gear pump with helical toothing showed that with the increase of pressure of hydraulic fluid the level of noise slowly increases from 1,5 to 6 dB depending on speed mode. The highest noise level of a pump with helical toothing (91,5 dB ) is noticed under the pressure of 16,0 MPa and rotation frequency n=2400 revolutions per minute. The comparative analysis of the experimental pump and a serial pump enables to state that the noise level of the experimental pump is lower in all operating modes compared to the serial pump. During tests it was marked that the noise level of the stand which is a barrier is quite high and under some operating modes it is close to the noise level of the experimental pump on the stand

6The new technologies of the diffusion vacuum welding (DVW) of aluminum alloys and titanium alloys have been considered. The aim of the paper is to study the special features of the processes of the formation of the structure and phases in the diffusion vacuum welding of an aluminum alloy with a titanium alloy, as well as the establishment of scientific foundations of obtaining welded joints by optimizing their structure and the phase composition. For the study of diffusion and recrystallization processes at the DVW, the specimens of AMg6 and WTi6 were welded without the AD1 interlayer and with its application. The metallographic studies were performed using an Auger microprobe equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer of the INCA system on the sections of welded joints produced by ion etching. Due to the negative impact of magnesium, it is not possible to obtain a welded joint of the WTi6 titanium alloy with the AMg6 aluminum alloy without the aluminum interlayer. The initial AMg6 structure of the banded type is converted into grains of different sizes and shapes in the process of welding. At the area of the joint with the interlayer in the AMg6 alloy they have more equiaxed shape and smaller dimensions. In the AD1 alloy, there are oxide type globular inclusions of the production origin. The structure of the WTi6 titanium alloy does not change during the welding process and consists of the primary grains elongated along the rolled metal of the predominant form factor 2. The secondary structure is the α-phase plates with layers of the β-phase along the boundaries of the plates and primary grains. The results of the study are of interest in making products for the aviation and space industries. They are to meet the stringent requirements for preservation of the initial size of the details, which is only possible if there are no notable deformations. The determined regularities allowed developing the welding technology to obtain high-quality welded joints using the diffusion vacuum welding. The number of areas with defects is no more than 5 % of the total area of the joint, where the intermetallic compounds are not formed at the junction of the interlayer and the titanium alloy

First study of \eta_c, \eta(1760) and X(1835) production via \eta'\pi^+\pi^- final states in two-photon collisions

The invariant mass spectrum of the \eta' \pi^+ \pi^- final state produced in two-photon collisions is obtained using a 673 fb^{-1} data sample collected in the vicinity of the \Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e^+e^- collider. We observe a clear signal of the \eta_c and measure its mass and width to be M(\eta_c)=(2982.7 +- 1.8(stat) +- 2.2(syst) +- 0.3(model)) MeV/c^2 and \Gamma(\eta_c) = (37.8^{+5.8}_{-5.3}(stat) +- 2.8(syst) +- 1.4(model)) MeV/c^2. The third error is an uncertainty due to possible interference between the \eta_c and a non-resonant component. We also report the first evidence for \eta(1760) decay to \eta' \pi^+ \pi^-; we find two solutions for its parameters, depending on the inclusion or not of the X(1835), whose existence is of marginal significance in our data. From a fit to the mass spectrum using coherent X(1835) and \eta(1760) resonant amplitudes, we set a 90% confidence level upper limit on the product \Gamma_{\gamma\gamma} \BR (\eta' \pi^+ \pi^-) for the X(1835).Comment: 13 pages, 7 figures, submitted to PR
