    Education holds an important position for achieving the progress of the country. As much as possible education directs students in pursuing their potential. The use of approaches in learning is indeed very important in the success of the expected learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe the processes, constraints and results of internalizing moral values through the hypnoteaching approach in Islamic Religious Education Learning at SMP Negeri 1 Muncar. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative research type. Subject determination technique is done purposively. Observation technique data collection, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis procedures through data condensation, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The validity of the data uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results obtained from this research are, the process of the hypnoteaching approach is carried out at least 5-7 meetings, students are made in a relaxed state and do not lose consciousness, the teacher uses positive sentences to students. The obstacle to this hypnoteaching approach lies with the students themselves, students tend not to focus on following the teacher's directions due to several disturbing factors. The results of this hypnoteaching approach, through the motivation given by the student teacher to become individuals with good morals, the hypnoteaching approach also influences learning activities in the classroom to be more productive because students feel comfortable so that the material can be understood properly. Abstrak.Pendidikan memegang kedudukan penting untuk tercapainya kemajuan negara. Semaksimal mungkin pendidikan mengarahkan peserta didik dalam mengupayakan potensi yang dimilikinya. Penggunaan pendekatan dalam pembelajaran memang sangat berpengaruh penting dalam keberhasilan proses pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan proses, kendala serta hasil dari internalisasi nilai-nilai akhlak melalui pendekatan hypnoteaching dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Negeri 1 Muncar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik penentuan subyek dilakukan secara purposive. Pengumpulan data teknik obsevasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi sumber dan trianggulasi teknik. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu, proses pendekatan hypnoteaching dilakukan minimal 5-7 kali peretmuan, siswa dibuat dalam keadaan yang releks dan tidak kehilangan kesadaran, guru menggunakan kalimat yang positif kepada siswa. Kendala dari pendekatan hypnoteaching ini ada pada siswa itu sendiri, siswa cenderung tidak fokus mengikuti arahan dari guru dikarenakan beberapa faktor yang mengganggu. Hasil dari pendekatan hypnoteaching ini, melalui motivasi yang diberikan oleh guru siswa menjadi pribadi yang berakhlak baik, pendekatan hypnoteaching juga berpengaruh pada kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas menjadi lebih produktif karena siswa merasa nyaman sehingga materi dapat dipahami dengan baik.

    Breaking the Secrets behind the Polyglots: How Do They Acquire Many Languages?

    In this study, participants acquired three types of language, those are regional, national and foreign ones. The purpose of this research was to explore how Indonesian polyglots acquire several different languages. We collected data through demographic questionnaires and semi-structured interviews obtained from nine participants. Four salient themes and sub-themes that emerged in this research were (a) mastering languages through instructed learning (learning in formal educational institution and learning in informal educational institution), (b) gaining extra amounts of languages input beyond the classroom (getting more access to a national language environment and getting more access to foreign languages environment), (c) learning languages autonomously (self-directed learning through printed resources and self-directed learning through media and technology), and (d) acculturating with a new language group in society. The findings indicated that the polyglots acquired several different languages through a natural process, a learning process, and a mixture of both naturalistic as well as instructed experiences

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Nilai Penerbitan Obligasi Syariah (sukuk), Rating Penerbitan Obligasi Syariah (sukuk) dan Risiko Obligasi Syariah (sukuk) terhadap Reaksi Pasar Modal (Studi Kasus Pada Perusahaan Non Bank yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode Tahun 2015- 2018). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan jenis data sekunder dengan model data panel. yaitu data bulanan dari masing-masing variabel. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengakses laporan yang dipublikasikan oleh Website Bursa Efek Indonesia, Yahoo Finance dan Investing.com. Selanjutnya, data di uji menggunakan model regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi EVIEWS versi 19. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai penerbitan obligasi syariah (sukuk) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap reaksi pasar modal. Variabel rating penerbitan obligasi syariah (sukuk) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, dan variabel resiko obligasi syariah (sukuk) berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap reaksi pasar modal.Kata kunci: Nilai Penerbitan Obligasi Syariah (sukuk), Rating Penerbitan Obligasi Syariah (sukuk), Risiko Obligasi Syariah (sukuk), Reaksi Pasar Moda

    This study is to interpret the teaching materials, approaches and methods used inthe plus curriculum in the teaching English as a compulsory subject in theMadrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Banda Aceh. An ethnography method waspurposefully used where four participants were involved for an in-depth interviewand classroom observation. The result revealed that the approaches were theemployed namely scientific and communicative approach. The method instantlybecomes priority were lecture method, demonstration, discussion, simulation,grammar-translation method, direct method, debate, and role play. Whereas theteaching material was sourced from the technical school guiding book, relevanttechnical books, magazines, visual-based teaching, audio-visual based and  multimedia-based learning sources. Therefore, this is one of the evidence that the successful using of teaching material, approaches, and method under the plus curriculum can mediate the Madrasah Aliyah students‘ English learningoutcomes. This may put into account due to the specific educational and culturalissue and practices in those private Madrasah Aliyah. Moreover, it can betypically recommended to other schools in Banda Aceh to apply such an  innovative and combination curriculum contents; local school and nationalcurriculum instruction.     The Motivations of Learning Foreign Languages: A Descriptive Case Study of Polyglots

    Polyglots are extraordinary people in terms of language ability. Therefore, it is interesting to academically explore their motivations for learning several languages. This research is novel compared to previous studies because scant extant research exists of polyglots’ motivation for learning several languages. To this end, researchers collected data from semi structured interviews obtained from five informants. The method that we used was a descriptive case study. Findings showed that the polyglots’ motivation for learning multiple foreign languages were (a) pleasure, (b) social intercourse, (c) professional purposes, and (d) academic purposes. Mostly, the previous research revealed that motivation for people learning foreign languages were for social interaction, professional reasons, and academic purposes. Meanwhile, the motivation of polyglots for learning many languages besides those three motivations was for pleasure. This is the key point behind their commitment to sustainable multiple language learning

    This research aims to investigate the influence of intructional models and critical thinking ability toward reading understanding ability in Arabic language outcome of students at MDT Shibyanul Muslimin Jakarta. This research is quantitative research using design treatment by level 2x2. The instrumen used to assess students critical thingking’s ability is in quentionnaire form, while the instrument used to assess student’s reading understanding ability in Arabic language is in the multiple choice form. The result of the research show that: (1) reading understanding ability in Arabic language outcome of students using cooperative learning tipe STAD model are higher than those reading understanding ability in Arabic language outcomes of students using cooperative learning tipe NHT models, (2) there is interaction effect between learning model and critical thinking on reading understanding ability in Arabic language outcome of students, (3) reading understanding ability in Arabic language outcome of students who has high critical thinking and using cooperative learning tipe STAD model are higher than students using cooperative learing tipe NHT model, (4) reading understanding ability in Arabic language outcome of students who has critical thinking and using cooperative learning tipe STAD model are lower than students using the cooperative learning tipe NHT models

    The Characteristics of Teaching Material Arabic Speaking Skills in Higher Education

    Research objective is to providing an insight into the characteristics of Arabic language teaching materials in higher education in Indonesia. This research was conducted by examining a variety of literature relating to teaching materials and Arabic speaking skills. The research method applied survey, involving 97 students from the Arabic Language Education Study Program in several universities in Indonesia and structured interviews with lecturers who supported Arabic speaking skills. The procedure taken are 1) reading literature related to Arabic speaking teaching materials and teaching Arabic speaking skills, 2) observing the learning process of speaking skills at several Arabic Language Education Study Programs, 3) determining the type of survey, 4) determining the sample target, 5) preparing instruments for analyzing the needs of students, 6) preparing structured interview instruments for lecturers, 7) analyzing survey results, 8) translating survey result. The results of this study, teaching materials from Middle East has led to the emergence of gaps in achieving Arabic language skills for beginners, such as the lack of phonetic aspects being taught, monotonous forms of practice, directing students to memorize, and types of dialogue that are not in accordance with student culture in Indonesia.     COLLABORATIVE STRATEGIC READING EFFECT ON READING COMPREHENSION BY CONSIDERING LEARNERS’ COGNITIVE STYLES

    The use of collaborative tactics based on Moodle is quite effective in assisting students in improving their reading comprehension. Moodle is an online education platform that creates a unique learning environment for students to learn in. Students are split into two groups based on their attitudes toward information from outside sources: field-independent learners and field-dependent learners. The Independent Learner has a self-sufficient mentality and is not depending on others. The dependent learner, on the other hand, is a student who is completely reliant on the people or her immediate surroundings. The goal of this research is to see how collaborative techniques based on Moodle and Cognitive Styles affect students' reading comprehension. It divides the participants into two groups at random: an experimental group that received CSR through Moodle, and a control group that received CSR without Moodle. The GEFT (Group Embedded Figures Test) is used to see if the participants' cognitive styles are field-independent or field-dependent. Furthermore, a two-way ANOVA and descriptive test are used to analyze the data. The results of ANOVA test revealed that the learners' reading comprehension was influenced by CSR and cognitive styles. This study suggests that English teachers use Moodle for CSR with cognitive types to help students improve their reading comprehension. Finally, the descriptive test's average differences revealed that CSR with Moodle is better for learners with independent cognitive styles than for those with dependent ones. CSR without Moodle, on the other hand, is best for dependent learners

    Development Learning Materials for the Responding Skills in Speaking the Basic Japanese Language –Beginning Step

    This research aims at analyzing the students’ and lecturers’ needs and characteristics and creating the learning materials containing aizuchi skills to effectively speak the basic Japanese language greatly required by the first semester students at the Japanese literature Study. This research and development study employed Kemp Model and was conducted on the Speaking Basic Japanese Language 2 class. The research was conducted by collecting questionnaires from 24 students and analyzing the students’ and lecturers’ characteristics and needs in speaking the basic Japanese language using the Guttman scale. To create more appropriate leaning materials, a reliability test was conducted using the Likert scale, while an effectiveness test was also conducted on the in-pair speaking videos made in both small and big groups, each with the duration of three minutes to be analyzed later using the quantitative data. The result of research on the learning materials for the corresponding skills was organized based on the students’ and lecturers’ characteristics and needs analysis and produces the students’ and lecturers’ needs and students’ characteristics which are one of the elements in making development model of learning materials of responding skill in Speaking Basic  greatly required by the students to speak communicatively and naturally
