    ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MATEMATIKA SISWA PADA KONTEN SPACE AND SHAPE

    Kemampuan literasi matematika masih menjadi tren di dunia pendidikan saat ini. PISA merupakan salah satu studi yang mengukur kemampuan siswa dalam proses penalaran, memberikan argumen dan pemecahan masalah. Dari beberapa konten yang diukur, peneliti memfokuskan pada space and shape materi pythagoras. Pertanyaan pada penelitian ini adalah bagiamana kemampuan literasi siswa pada konten space and shape materi pythagoras. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 80% siswa berada pada level di bawah 1 dan 20% berada pada level 1. Dari beberapa indikator yang dinilai pada aspek communication menunjukkan skor rata- rata 3,13; skor komponen mathematising rata- rata 2,13; skor komponen representation rata- rata 2,33; skor komponen reasoning and argument rata- rata 2,13; skor devising strategies and solving problem 2,56; komponen using symbolic, formal and technical language and operation memperoleh skor rata- rata 3,00; dan skor rata- rata kemampuan using mathematics tools memperoleh skor 2,66. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi siswa pada konten space shape masih sangat rendahABSTRACTMathematical literacy is still a trend in the world of education today. PISA is one study that measures the ability of students in the process of reasoning, providing arguments and problem solving. From some of the content measured, researchers focus on the space and shape of pythagorean material. The question in this study is how the literacy ability of students in the content space and shape pythagorean material. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with methods of observation, documentation and interviews. The results showed as many as 80% of students were at the level below 1 and 20% were at level 1. Of the several indicators assessed on the communication aspect showed an average score of 3.13; the average score of the mathematising component is 2.13; average component score score of 2.33; the reasoning and argument component score averaged 2.13; score devising strategies and solving problems 2.56; components using symbolic, formal and technical language and operation obtain an average score of 3.00; and the average score of ability to use mathematics tools obtain a score of 2.66.     PENGARUH IKLIM KELAS DAN KECERDASAN INTERPERSONAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

    Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara iklim kelas, kecerdasan interpersonal dan hasil belajar matematika. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Biringkanaya Kota Makassar sebanyak 2818 siswa dengan jumlah sampel 236 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan two-stage proporsional stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yakni: Skala iklim kelas, Skala kecerdasan interpersonal, dan Tes hasil belajar matematika. Data dianalisis dengan statistika deskriptif dan analisis SEM (Structure Equation Modelling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Variabel iklim kelas berada dalam kategori “sedang”, variabel kecerdasan interpersonal berada dalam kategori “tinggi” dan variabel hasil belajar matematika berada dalam kategori “sedang”; (2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara iklim kelas dengan kecerdasan interpersonal; (3) Iklim kelas secara langsung berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika dengan besar pengaruh 19%; (4) Kecerdasan interpersonal secara langsung berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika  dengan besar pengaruh 25%.ABSTRACTThis research is an ex-post facto research that aims to understand the relationship between class climate, interpersonal intelligence and mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students of class VII State Junior High School in Biringkanaya District Makassar City as many as 2818 students with a sample of 236 students. The sampling technique in this study uses two-stage proportional stratified random sampling. The instruments used are: class sensitive scale, interpersonal intelligence scale, and mathematics learning achievement test. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and SEM (Structure Equation Modeling) analysis. The results showed that: (1) Class climate variables are in the "medium" category, interpersonal intelligence variables are in the "high" category and mathematics learning outcome variables are in the "medium" category; (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between class climate influence and interpersonal intelligence;(3) Class climate directly towards learning 19%; (4) Interpersonal intelligence directly directs positive towards mathematics learning outcomes with a large influence of 25%

    Intelegensi interpersonal dan emosional termasuk dalam faktor internal yang berkaitan dengan hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ex-post facto diterapkan dalam riset ini. Sebanyak 2818 siswa dari 9 sekolah yang terdapat di Kecamatan Biringkanaya kota Makassar digunakan sebagai populasi. Dari populasi tersebut 236 siswa kelas VII dari 4 sekolah digunakan sebagai sampel riset. Angket intelegensi interpersonal dan emosional serta tes hasil belajar matematika dibagikan kepada siswa tersebut.  Selanjutnya, data dianalisis memakai statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian diperoleh intelegensi interpersonal terletak pada kategori tinggi dan intelegensi emosional serta hasil belajar matematika terletak pada kategori sedang; intelegensi interpersonal memiliki pengaruh yang positif pada hasil belajar matematika dengan besar pengaruh 25%; serta  intelegensi interpersonal memiliki pengaruh positif pada hasil belajar matematika melalui intelegensi emosional dengan besar pengaruh 4%.Intelegensi interpersonal dan emosional termasuk dalam faktor internal yang berkaitan dengan hasil belajar matematika.     ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PECAHAN: SUATU KASUS SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA

    Analisis kesalahan adalah langkah awal yang perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis dan penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan memberi informasi terkait jenis dan penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pecahan. Analisis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII-A SMPN 2 Martapura. Dipilih 4 subjek menjadi responden untuk mengungkap secara mendalam jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan berdasarkan banyaknya kesalahan dan mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kesalahan siswa diperoleh 34,5 % melakukan kesalahan konseptual dan 13,1 % melakukan kesalahan prosedural. Yang menjadi penyebab diperoleh bahwa (1) siswa kurang memahami konsep bilangan negatif, (2) kurang memahami konsep tentang pecahan senilai, (3) kurang memahami operasi bilangan bulat, (4) siswa kurang memahami konsep mengubah pecahan campuran ke pecahan biasa, (5) siswa tidak teliti dalam menyelesaikan soal, dan (6) siswa terburu-buru dalam menghitun

    The teacher frequently asks questions in the form of algorithms without challenging the student to think at a higher level and nearly never gives daily questions. As can be observed, some teachers have not done competency assessments and hence do not require pupils to accomplish specific competencies. The purpose of this project is to create school collaboration worksheets and examine student responses to these problems, with the goal of implementing learning through the Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) method. This study employs a qualitative approach and a design research method. Design research is divided into two stages: development research and design research. The study's subjects were seventh-grade pupils from SMPN 1 Merauke. This investigation culminated in the development of worksheets on direct comparisons and integers.     Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning: Sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas

    Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada materi fungsi komposisi dan fungsi invers. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 34 siswa kelas X MIPA 1 di SMA Negeri 3 Merauke. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi serta tes akhir pada setiap siklus pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kombinasi teknik analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pada siklus I, terdapat 18 siswa yang mencapai atau melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 52,94%. Pada siklus II, jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM meningkat menjadi 28 siswa, dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 82,35%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam pembelajaran berhasil meningkatkan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA Negeri 3 Merauke

    ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MATEMATIKA SISWA BERDASARKAN MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATEMATIKA

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa berdasarkan kecerdasan majemuk (multiple intelligence) dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika pada konten change and relationship dan space and shape. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket kecerdasan majemuk (multipel intelligence), tes kemampuan literasi matematika dan pedoman wawancara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah empat orang siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan kecerdasan dominan dari seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP IT Ibnu Sina dan mewakili setiap kecerdasan yaitu kecerdasan intrapersonal, interpersonal, kinestetik, dan logika matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) subjek dengan kecerdasan intrapersonal hanya memenuhi indikator kemampuan komunikasi pada konten change and relationship dan space and shape; 2) subjek dengan kecerdasan interpersonal hanya mampu memenuhi indikator kemampuan matematisasi pada konten change and relationship dan pada konten space and shape subjek belum memenuhi indikator kemampuan komunikasi, matematisasi, dan kemampuan memilih strategi; 3) subjek dengan kecerdasan kinestetik belum memenuhi indikator kemampuan komunikasi, matematisasi, dan memilih strategi untuk menyelesaikan masalah pada konten change and relationship maupun space and shape; 4) subjek dengan kecerdasan logika matematika telah memenuhi indikator kemampuan komunikasi, matematisasi, dan memilih strategi dalam menyelesaikan masalah pada konten change and relationship.Kata kunci: Literasi matematika; multiple intelligence; change and relationship; space and shape. Abstract This study aims to describe students' mathematical literacy skills based on multiple intelligence in solving math problems on the content of change and relationship and space and shape. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The instruments used in this study were multiple intelligence questionnaires, math literacy skills tests and interview guides. The subjects in this study were four students who were selected based on the dominant intelligence of all eighth grade students of SMP IT Ibnu Sina and represented each intelligence, namely intrapersonal, interpersonal, kinesthetic, and mathematical logic. The results showed that: 1) subjects with intrapersonal intelligence only met the indicators of communication skills in content change and relationship and space and shape; 2) the subject with interpersonal intelligence is only able to meet the indicators of mathematical ability in change and relationship content and the subject's space and shape content has not met the indicators of communication skills, mathematics and the ability to choose strategies; 3) subjects with kinesthetic intelligence have not met the indicators of communication skills, mathematics, and choose strategies to solve problems in change and relationship content as well as space and shape; 4) the subject with mathematical logic intelligence has met the indicators of communication skills, mathematics, and chooses strategies in solving problems with content change and relationship.Keywords: mathematical literacy; multiple Intelligence; change and relationship; space and shap

    Analysis of Students’ Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability in Term of Multiple Intelligence

    Many factors can influence students' ability to solve mathematical problems, and one of them is intelligence. The purpose of this study was to describe problem-solving abilities in terms of dominating multiple intelligences. The descriptive qualitative design was used for this investigation. The subjects of this study were six 7th-grade students chosen through purposive sampling based on dominating intellect in a group of six students. The data for this study were gathered through the use of validated questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The data analysis, which comprises data reduction, presentation, conclusion. Findings of this study show that pupils with naturalist, interpersonal, kinesthetic intelligence are able to solve problems according to plan, and loocking back when they are incorrect. Students with dominating intelligences such as linguistic-verbal, logical-mathematical, and visual-spatial can plan, conduct step-by-step rechecking of the solution to a problem that has not yet been finished. Furthemore, the effect of various intelligences can solve mathematics problems successfully

    This research was conducted with the aim of describing the profile of the basic mathematical abilities of grade VIII junior high school students. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with the subject of class VIII students at one of the State Middle Schools in Merauke, totaling 33 students. The data collection instrument used basic mathematics ability test questions which totaled 20 multiple choice questions. To analyze the data obtained, the steps consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions were used using Miles and Huberman's analysis techniques.     PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA

    This research discusses several problems found in the field, studying the learning process that is still dominated by the teacher, avoiding student participation in active learning activities, increasing student motivation in learning, and increasing collaboration between students. This research was conducted in one of the State Junior High Schools located in Makassar City, Indonesia in the academic year 2017/2018 which aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of investigative group learning models. The research subjects were students of class VIII with 31 students. This class action research consists of 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of 3 meetings and 1 cycle test. Information related to student activities is collected using observation sheets and information related to student abilities is collected using tests given at the end of the cycle. Obtaining a score for cycle 1 is 70.48 with a completeness level of 70.79% and a score for cycle 2 is 76.32 with a completeness level of 87.1%. After applying learning with the investigation stage the group showed an increase in activity and the ability of students in the second cycle that was supported had reached classical completeness by 75
