The present research is a literature review article that aims to analyze the relationship established between the human being and the freedom demonstrated in the vision of Saint Augustine and to make an analogy with the freedom defended by Viktor Emil Frankl in the presuppositions of the Theory of Logotherapy. The methodology adopted is a bibliographic review with a qualitative approach, whose foundation is based on the discussions of theorists such as: Nossella (1966),  Bellei and Buzinaro (2010), Geymonat (1970), Coelho Jr and Mahfoud (2001), Martins Filho (2000). The results show that both in Saint Augustine's vision and in Viktor Frankl's conception, the use made of freedom generates consequences. In the theory of Logotherapy these consequences are called responsibilities and in the view of Saint Augustine, the freedom that goes against the will of God generates the moral evil that the author calls sin. These consequences affect the human being causing spiritual, physical or psychological problems.

The reflection held in this text is the result of an investigation about the usage of written language on 4 and 5 years old kids, on infant education environment. It is also a provisional synthesis of conclusion built in order to fulfill the assignment called Trabalho de Conclus?o de Curso ? TCC, which the idea and its first origins date back to some problematizations during the Supervised Internship on Infant Education, around the topic of written language and kids. The collation of the observations within the institutional context and the official documents, plus the theoretical studying were the catalysts of the problem which guided us on this path: how is the written language with the children in the Infant Education institutions being handled. The searching of possible answers was anchored methodologically through the analysis of Moraes? (1999) content, about the official documents that guide infant education: Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a Educa??o Infantil - DCNEIs e Base Nacional Comum Curricular ? BNCC. Theoretically, through the historic-cultural theory of the human development, from Vigotski and collaborators. The initial results signal to some divergence in conception of the object between documents and some approximations when compared to the theory which support such analysis. In conclusive terms we can infer that a kid as a cultural subject, who has contact with written culture since they were born must reaffirm the contact in Infant Education. The care with the treatment of written language on kids in pre-school, however, needs much theoretical clarity by the teacher?s part.

Dermatosis neglecta is characterized by accumulation of sebum, sweat, keratin and impurities due to inadequate skin cleansing, hyperesthesia and immobility secondary to trauma and/or surgery. Recognizing this condition avoids unnecessary, aggressive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. We report a case of dermatosis neglecta in a patient with neglected hygiene in an area of previous surgery.

Use of multivariate analysis to evaluate antigenic relationships between US BVDV vaccine strains and non-US genetically divergent isolates.

Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) comprises two species, BVDV-1 and BVDV-2. But given the genetic diversity among pestiviruses, at least 22 subgenotypes are described for BVDV-1 and 3-4 for BVDV-2. Genetic characterization is generally accomplished through complete or partial sequencing and phylogeny, but it is not a reliable method to define antigenic relationships. The traditional method for evaluating antigenic relationships between pestivirus isolates is the virus neutralization (VN) assay, but interpretation of the data to define antigenic relatedness can be difficult to discern for BVDV isolates within the same BVDV species. Data from this study utilized a multivariate analysis for visualization of VN results to analyze the antigenic relationships between US vaccine strains and field isolates from Switzerland, Italy, Brazil, and the UK. Polyclonal sera were generated against six BVDV strains currently contained in vaccine formulations, and each serum was used in VNs to measure the titers against seven vaccine strains (including the six homologous strains) and 23 BVDV field isolates. Principal component analysis (PCA) was performed using VN titers, and results were interpreted from PCA clustering within the PCA dendrogram and scatter plot. The results demonstrated clustering patterns among various isolates suggesting antigenic relatedness. As expected, the BVDV-1 and BVDV-2 isolates did not cluster together and had the greatest spatial distribution. Notably, a number of clusters representing antigenically related BVDV-1 subgroups contain isolates of different subgenotypes. The multivariate analysis may be a method to better characterize antigenic relationships among BVDV isolates that belong to the same BVDV species and do not have distinct antigenic differences. This might be an invaluable tool to ameliorate the composition of current vaccines, which might well be important for the success of any BVDV control program that includes vaccination in its scheme

Objective: To compare DMARD use in patients with and without FM over time, includingovertreatment and undertreatment rates in both groups. Methods: A prospective cohort study with patients attending an RA outpatient clinic was con-ducted. Participants were consecutively recruited between March 2006 and June 2007 andwere followed through December 2013. Data on DMARD use (prevalences, doses and esca-lation rates), DAS28, HAQ and radiographic progression were compared among RA patientswith FM and without FM. Mistreatment clinical scenarios were allegedly identified andcompared between groups. Results: 256 RA patients (32 with FM) were followed for 6.2 ± 2.0 (mean ± SD) years comprising2986 visits. At baseline, RA duration was 11.1 ± 7.4 years. DAS28 and HAQ were greater in RAwith FM group, and were closer to RA without FM group towards the end. RA patients with FMused higher doses of tricyclic antidepressants, leflunomide and prednisone, and lower dosesof methotrexate. When compared to RA patients without FM, participants with RA and FMused more often tricyclic antidepressants, leflunomide, prednisone, continuous analgesicsand less often methotrexate. Groups presented similar 7-year biologic-free survival, andradiographic progression-free survival in Cox regression. RA patients with FM had greaterproportions of visits in mistreatment scenarios when compared to RA patients without FM(28.4 vs. 19.8%, p < 0.001). Conclusions: RA patients with FM used more leflunomide and prednisone, and RA mistreat- ment was more frequent in FM patients. Certainly, RA patients with FM will benefit from a personalized T2T strategy, including ultrasound (when suitable) and proper FM treatment.
