The symptomatology and control measures of BCMV, BYMV, BGMV, and bean chlorotic mottle virus are briefly described. General aspects regarding the genetic control of viruses and the use of chemicals to control insect vectors are discussed. Some bean lines and/or var. resistant to BCMV, BGMV, and bean chlorotic mottle virus are mentioned. La difusión de la metodología activa en la enseñanza de los idiomas en España : el caso del francés

Como en el resto de los aspectos políticos, sociales y culturales, tras un período de inmovilismo metodológico, la España de los años cincuenta se empieza a abrir a las influencias extranjeras. En lo que se refiere a la metodología de la enseñanza del francés, y partiendo de una situación de claro predominio de los métodos tradicionales, asistimos en esta década a la difusión de los métodos activos, aceptados ya internacionalmente y que se incorporan a la Enseñanza Media española con la publicación en 1957 de los programas oficiales para las lenguas modernas. Landscape and heritage: key elements for tourism development in an interior space: the case of Yecla (Murcia)

Este trabajo analiza la importancia de los recursos paisajísticos y patrimoniales como estrategia para el desarrollo local en espacios de interior de escasa actividad turística, profundiza en la imagen del paisaje como producto turístico y propone actuaciones que promoverán nuevas fuentes de riqueza y empleo así como la paralización de las amenazas que podrían contribuir a la desaparición de estos paisajes culturales heredados con un significativo carácter identitario. Destaca a través de la metodología DAFO, la importancia de acciones y políticas que atiendan a la sostenibilidad como garantía hacia un equilibrio territorial que contemple la preservación ambiental, viabilidad económica y equidad social en el desarrollo de beneficios para todo el municipio y su área de influencia.This work analyzes the importance of landscape and patrimonial resources as a strategy for local development in interior spaces with little tourism activity, deepens the image of the landscape as a tourism product and proposes actions that will promote new sources of wealth and employment as well as paralysis Of the threats that could contribute to the disappearance of these inherited cultural landscapes with a significant identity character. Aprendizaje cooperativo y mapas del tiempo: una experiencia de aprendizaje en el aula de 1º ESO

El paso de nivel de Educación Primaria a Secundaria supone un importante cambio metodológico y de clima de aula tanto en el alumnado como para el docente. La motivación por el aprendizaje no siempre resulta fácil para un alumnado que está viviendo grandes cambios físicos y psicológicos acordes a la evolución de su edad. Por todo ello se precisan metodologías activas que puedan generar interés y predisposición al aprendizaje. En esta comunicación presentaremos la experiencia del trabajo cooperativo como una metodología efectiva en la adquisición de conocimientos y competencias básicas a partir de la temática que estudia la predicción meteorológica como elemento de interés creciente

La utilización de la bicicleta entre el alumnado universitario

El objetivo de este estudio es saber el uso de la bicicleta entre el alumnado de Maestro de Educación Primaria y Maestro de Educación Física de la Facultad de Educación de Huelva. La muestra se ha obtenido entre los estudiantes que cursan el primer curso de carrera de las especialidades descritas (n = 47), de los cuales, 26 eran de la especialidad de Educación Física y 21 de la especialidad de Educación Primaria. Se llevó a cabo un muestreo no probabilístico. Como instrumento se utilizó un cuestionario. El proceso de recogida de información constó de dos fases: la primera ponernos en contacto con los profesores de las asignaturas y en segundo lugar, la cumplimentación del cuestionario. Para el registro de los datos se utilizó el paquete estadístico SPSS v17.0. En primer lugar se realizó un análisis descriptivo de la situación actual y seguidamente un estudio ex postfacto. Todos los análisis estadísticos se realizaron con un nivel de significación de p ≤ 0,05.The objective of this study is to know the use of the bicycle among the student body of Elementary Education Teacher and Physical Education Teacher degrees of the School of Education of Huelva. A non-probability sampling was carried out, with a questionnaire as the tool. The process of collecting information consisted of two phases: firstly, we have to get in contact with the teachers of the subjects, and secondly, the filling of the questionnaire. In order to register the data, a statistical package SPSS v17.0. was used. In the first place, a descriptive analysis of the actual situation was done, and continuously, a study ex post facto. All the statistic analysis were made with a level of significance of p ≤ 0,05

Comparing Tag Scheme Variations Using an Abstract Machine Generator

In this paper we study, in the context of a WAM-based abstract machine for Prolog, how variations in the encoding of type information in tagged words and in their associated basic operations impact performance and memory usage. We use a high-level language to specify encodings and the associated operations. An automatic generator constructs both the abstract machine using this encoding and the associated Prolog-to-byte code compiler. Annotations in this language make it possible to impose constraints on the final representation of tagged words, such as the effectively addressable space (fixing, for example, the word size of the target processor /architecture), the layout of the tag and value bits inside the tagged word, and how the basic operations are implemented. We evaluate large number of combinations of the different parameters in two scenarios: a) trying to obtain an optimal general-purpose abstract machine and b) automatically generating a specially-tuned abstract machine for a particular program. We conclude that we are able to automatically generate code featuring all the optimizations present in a hand-written, highly-optimized abstract machine and we canal so obtain emulators with larger addressable space and better performance

Beetle-transmitted viruses

One group of bean diseases with characteristic virus symptoms is the mosaic group, frequently associated with leaf and plant malformations and green and yellow stippling. Insect vectors belong to the families Chrysomelidae, Coccinelidae, and Meloidae. This group of virus contains the bean southern mosaic virus (BSMV), the bean mild mosaic virus (BMMV), the bean rugose mosaic virus (BRMV), the bean pod mottle virus (BPMV), the bean curly dwarf mosaic virus (BCDMV), and the bean yellow stipple virus (BYSV). The geographic distribution, economic importance, host plants, physical properties, purification, transmission, epidemiology, symptomatology, and control measures are given for each one. The symptoms and damage caused by the diseases are illustrated in color. (CIAT)Un grupo de enfermedades del frijol con sintomas caracteristicos de los producidos por los virus es el de los mosaicos, frecuentemente asociados con deformaciones de las hojas y de las plantas y moteado verde o amarillo. Los insectos vectores son de las familias Chrysomelidae, Coccinelidae y Meloidae. En este grupo de virus tenemos el virus del mosaico sureno del frijol (BSMV), el virus del mosaico suave del frijol (BMMV), el virus del mosaico rugoso del frijol (BRMV), el virus del moteado de la vaina del frijol (BPMV), el virus del mosaico y enanismo rizado del frijol (BCDMV) y el virus del moteado amarillo del frijol (BYSV). Para cada uno se presenta su distribucion geografica, importancia economica, plantas hospedantes, propiedades fisicas, purificacion, transmision, epidemiologia, sintomatologia y medidas de control.
