    Indonesia adalah negara yang sedang berkembang di berbagai bidang, seperti ekonomi, pendidikan, budaya dan lain-lain. Di Provinsi Jawa Timur mempunyai jaringan jalan di wilayah utara dan selatan. Pergerakan lalu lintas barang dan manusia di wilayah utara lebih cepat jika dibandingkan dengan wilayah selatan. Demi menghilangkan jenjang tersebut, kebijakan pembangunan Propinsi Jawa Timur diarahkan ke wilayah selatan melalui pembangunan jalan “Jalur Lintas Selatan (JLS)” Jawa Timur yang direncanakan sepanjang 654,67 km. Maka dari itu diperlukan perencanaan geometrik jalan yang paling efektif dan tebal perkerasan yang cukup. Dalam tugas akhir ini, jalur lintas selatan yang akan dibahas adalah pada Lot. 6 yaitu Karanggongso – Nglarap (Sta 0+000 – Sta 10+625) Kab. Trenggalek – Kab. Tulungagung sepanjang 10625m. Data yang digunakan hanya mencakup data sekunder dari proyek tersebut yaitu data LHR, data pengujian tanah, dan data layout gambar. Analisis data menggunakan Manual Desain Pekerasan Jalan 2017, Tata Cara Perencanaan Geometrik Jalan Antar Kota DPU Bina Marga, Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 2014. Hasil perencanaan jalan pada Lot. 6 yaitu Karanggongso – Nglarap (Sta 0+000 – Sta 10+625) Kab. Trenggalek – Kab. Tulungagung alinemen geometrik dengan lebar jalan 7 meter dan bahu jalan 1,75 meter. Direncanakan dengan kecepatan rencana 50km/jam memiliki 45 tikungan dengan tipe SCS dan 9 tikungan dengan tipe SS, sedangkan alinyemen vertikal memiliki 30 lengkung cembung dan 31 lengkung cekung. Ruas ini membutuhkan lapis perkerasan AC-WC setebal 40mm, AC Binder setebal 60 mm, AC Base setebal 180 mm, dan LPA setebal 300 mm.Kata kunci : Geometrik, JLS, MDP 2017, Perencanaan Perkerasan Lentur

    Analysis of Sustainable Competitive Advantage Strategies in Embroidery Industry Centers in Tasikmalaya

    The embroidery industry in Tasikmalaya is one of the creative economic sectors with significant potential for growth. However, facing increasingly intense competition requires effective strategies to maintain and enhance competitive advantage. This research aims to identify competitive advantages and the VRIO Framework in the embroidery industry in Tasikmalaya, as well as to develop strategies for sustainable competitive advantage within the embroidery industry centers in Tasikmalaya. The VRIO Framework is used to evaluate a company's resources and capabilities based on four criteria: Value, Rarity, Imitability, and Organization. The object of this research is the embroidery industry centers in Tasikmalaya. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach, where data is collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews structured. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. The tool used to formulate competitive advantage strategies is the VRIO framework. The results of this study indicate that the embroidery industry in Tasikmalaya has advantages in product uniqueness, competitive pricing, and difficulty to replace, and is positioned with a temporary competitive advantage and economic performance above normal

    Visual assessment on product label design criteria through eye tracking

    Product label is a printed product information displayed on the product packaging. The product label designs are the combination of text and image elements. The process of designing a product label is complicated as there are various types of text and images involved. Product label designs that are less attractive wouldl affect purchasing choices. The purpose of this study is to identify the design criterias of texts and images to help consumer in their purchase selection. The study focuses on the visual assessment through eye tracking method on food and beverage product label. The eye movement observation method conducted using eye tracker device to track 6 parameters of eye movements on the product label during purchasing selection and determine 7 main text and image design criterias for food and beverage product label. The consumers were selected among university students. The study has found that the purchase selection of bread and mineral water product from the food and beverage product category are the most difficult. There are similarities in eye tracking parameters on product label visual assessment during purchasing choices. The similarities of text and image design criteria on food and beverage products label include i) shape text: uppercase and lowercase, ii) type family text: sanserif, iii) width text: condensed, iv) slope text: roman, v) weight text: bold and vi) nature image: illustration

    This study aims to examine the causal relationship between corporate governance mechanism variables, board of directors commitment ethics, and company performance. Corporate governance is measured by looking at the effectiveness of commissioners and audit committees, ethical commitment of the board of directors is measured score of 0 to 4 and company performance is measured by return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). This study found that corporate governance have an influence on company performance as measured using return on assets (ROA), while corporate governance have no influence on company performance as measured using return on assets (ROE). The ethical commitment of the board of directors is unable to strengthen the relationship between corporate governance and company performance as measured by ROA or ROE

    Faktor dan Strategi Fundamentalisme Agama pada Mahasiswa Muslim

    Religious-based conflicts often occurred in a country where certain religion became majority. This is an important thing to identify because it will greatly determine the welfare of the people and tolerance in the community. This study aims to explore influential factors and strategies of religious fundamentalism. The method used was qualitative approach. A set of open-ended questions was distributed to 47 Muslim university students in Bandung. The data was analyzed using thematic analysis. Results show that religiocentrism and identity can be the influential factors of religious fundamentalism. Also, they tend to use persuasive approach, religion-based learning, and internalization to implement the fundamentalism. This study contributes to the individual formation of religious fundamentalism, particularly in the context of Indonesian university students.

    Urea Functionalized Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes As Efficient Nitrogen Delivery System For Rice

    This paper utilized urea functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes fertilizer as plant nutrition for rice to understand fully their mechanism of interaction. Surface modification of multiwalled carbon nanotubes was treated by nitric acid at different reflux times. The individual and interaction effects between the design factors of functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotube amount and functionalization reflux time with the corresponding responses of nitrogen uptake and nitrogen use efficiency were structured via the Response Surface Methodology based on five-level central composite design. The urea functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes fertilizer with optimized 0.5 weight% functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes treated at 21 h of reflux time achieve tremendous nitrogen uptake at 1180 mg/pot and NUE up to 96%. The FT-IR results confirm the formation of acidic functional groups of functionalized MWCNTs and UF-MWCNTs. The morphological observation of transmission electron microscopy shows extracellular regions to be the preferred localization of functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes in fresh plant root cells independent of their size and geometry. Penetration into the plant cell results in breaching of graphitic tubular structure of functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes with their length being shortened until ∼50 nm and diameters becoming thinner until less than 10 nm. The capability to agglomerate after translocation into the plant cells alarms potential cytotoxicity effect of functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes in agriculture. These work findings have suggested using urea functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes for effective nutrient delivery systems in rice plant
