El adecuado desarrollo y mantenimiento de la condición física permite a una persona sedentaria realizar las actividades propias de la vida cotidiana de una forma satisfactoria a la vez que le va a facilitar el hecho de disfrutar en mayor medida de una mejor calidad de vida en su tiempo de ocio. En este sentido, una adecuada y regular práctica física que suponga un esfuerzo significativo tiene una especial incidencia en el desarrollo de la resistencia con la consiguiente mejora y mantenimiento de la salud a través de una práctica de actividad física moderada, continua y frecuente.The proper development and maintenance of the physical condition allows a sedentary person to carry out the activities of daily life in a satisfactory way, while at the same time facilitating the enjoyment of a better quality of life in his time of leisure. In this sense, an adequate and regular physical practice that involves a significant effort has a special impact on the development of resistance with the consequent improvement and maintenance of health. This health-related approach is consistent with the practice of moderate, continuous, and frequent physical activity that we must instill in our Physical Education students

The times we live are made up by a cultural diversity that forces to assume the challenge of tolerance and the respect to other as a base of a pacific living together. The Educational Institution should be a space in which we can be aware of what truly signify the different cultures that in a specific historic moment share a territory, that role perform each one of them and because. It is a matter of living diversity as an enriched phenomenon, scorning the prejudices and stereotypes that are given in society as a result of ignorance and that are cause and effect of the discrimination that suffer diverse ethnic groups. Here we show an experiencie through Artistic Education, that begins from the prejudice of "Indian" and finishes with an exercise of "Land Art", going across a way in which the cultural interchange is the base of creativity and an harmony living.Los tiempos que vivimos se caracterizan por una diversidad de culturas que obliga a asumir el reto de la tolerancia y el respeto al otr@ como base de una convivencia pacífica. La Institución Escolar debe ser un espacio en el que podamos adquirir conciencia de lo que de verdad significan las diferentes culturas que en un determinado momento histórico comparten un territorio, qué rol desempeña cada una de ellas y por qué. Se trata de vivir la diversidad como un fenómeno enriquecedor desestimando los preconceptos y estereotipos que se dan en la sociedad como resultado del desconocimiento y que son causa y efecto de la discriminación que sufren distintos colectivos étnicos. Aquí se expone una experiencia a través de la Educación Artística, que parte del prejuicio sobre el concepto de "Indio" y termina con un ejercicio de "Land Art," recorriendo un camino en el que el intercambio cultural sirve de base para la creatividad y la convivencia armónica

The current society is increasingly plural and more complex. The presence of people of different cultures is every time major and the needs of integration bind to confront new reality. Education is a piece key to obtain a harmonic and tolerant climate. It is necessary to speak about Interculturalism as a term that confronts this reality from a relation of enrichment among cultures, without establishing situations of authority and incorporating the positive of the cultural diversity in a society who is half-caste. This educational offer, from The Artistic Education, suggests activities that shoud help the discovery , to the reflection on the prejudices based on ignorance and to placing and to value the influences that of this cultural diversity are given in Modern Art.La sociedad actual es cada vez más plural y compleja. La presencia de gentes de diferentes culturas es cada vez mayor y las necesidades de integración obligan a afrontar las nuevas realidades. La Educación es una pieza clave para conseguir un clima armónico y tolerante. Es necesario hablar de Interculturalidad como término que afronta esta realidad desde una relación de enriquecimiento entre culturas, sin establecer situaciones de dominio e incorporando lo positivo de la diversidad cultural en una sociedad que es mestiza. Arteterapia, parálisis cerebral y resiliencia

We think Art therapy is a combination between Art and Psychotherapy, where both parts encourage each other, where person and his process are the most important things. Art is used as a non-verbal communication vehicle, as a conscious and unconscious mean of expression because we recognize that thoughts are given more easily in images than in words. Through the creative process, we think about the development of personal conflicts and individual interests. In this article, we talk about the relations between Art therapy and Handicap. We try to know what is Cerebral Palsy as an example of therapeutic method from Art Therapy, to see the levels of therapeutic intervention, to consider Art Therapy as an integral way to treat people and to develop Resilience as one of the therapeutic targets.

Background and Study Lines of Sport History

El deporte convencional y todo lo que le rodea se ha convertido en uno de los acontecimientos sociales más relevantes de las sociedades occidentales contemporáneas, alzándose en uno de los elementos más influyentes, decisivos y centrales de la cultura popular. Es por ello que presento el siguiente artículo, donde tras aclarar el origen y definir el término de deporte, paso a tratar los antecedentes del mismo y sirviéndome de las principales líneas de investigación que se ocupan del mismo, paso a reflejar los principales momentos de su reciente historia.Conventional sport and everything around it has become one of the most relevant social events of contemporary Western societies, rising in one of the most influential, decisive and central elements of popular culture. This is why I present the following article, where after clarifying the origin and defining the term of sport, I proceed to discuss the history of the same and using the main lines of research that deal with it, step to reflect the main moments of its recent history

Territorial centrality and functional specialization as a guide for managing of conservation areas. The case of the Madrid Urban Region

Objetivo: ¿Cuál es el papel de los municipios con conjunto histórico en el sistema urbano del que forman parte? ¿Qué rol tienen los municipios con conjunto histórico en las emergentes regiones urbanas multicéntricas? ¿Qué implicaciones -oportunidades y amenazas- tienen las dinámicas metropolitanas en los municipios con conjunto histórico? En base a estos interrogantes y apoyado en un análisis territorial y funcional, el presenta artículo pretende aportar nuevos criterios al debate sobre las políticas de intervención en ámbitos patrimoniales -centros históricos, conjuntos históricos…- y en relación a la cuestión patrimonial en el modelo de desarrollo metropolitano. Metodología: Tomando como laboratorio de trabajo la región urbana madrileña y como unidad de análisis el municipio, se analizan tres aspectos desde una perspectiva sincrónica: (i) los patrones espaciales de población y empleo, así como la posición de los asentamientos en el sistema urbano; (ii) la centralidad territorial resultado de la condición de centralidad histórica, político-administrativa y económica reciente; y (iii) la especialización funcional. Conclusiones: El resultado del estudio ofrece una tipología de los municipios con conjunto histórico conforme a la dimensión espacial y funcional analizada. Esta tipología se presenta como un instrumento operativo que permite identificar un conjunto de oportunidades y retos a considerar en la planificación urbanística y en la ordenación del territorio.Originalidad: Este conocimiento generado sirve de soporte para guiar la intervención en ámbitos patrimoniales como los conjuntos históricos, al tiempo que contribuye a integrar la cuestión patrimonial en la construcción de nuevos proyectos para las metrópolis y sus territorios metropolitanos.Objectiu: Quin és el paper dels municipis amb conjunt històric en el sistema urbà del qual formen part? Quin rol tenen els municipis amb conjunt històric en les emergents regions urbanes multicèntriques? Quines implicacions -Oportunitats i amenaces- tenen les dinàmiques metropolitanes en els municipis amb conjunt històric? En base a aquests interrogants i recolzat en una anàlisi territorial i funcional, el presenta article pretén aportar nous criteris al debat sobre les polítiques d'intervenció en àmbits patrimonials -centres històrics, conjunts històrics ... - i en relació a la qüestió patrimonial en el model de desenvolupament metropolità. Metodologia: Prenent com a laboratori de treball la regió urbana madrilenya i com a unitat d'anàlisi el municipi, s'analitzen tres aspectes des d'una perspectiva sincrònica: (i) els patrons espacials de població i ocupació, així com la posició dels assentaments en el sistema urbà; (Ii) la centralitat territorial resultat de la condició de centralitat històrica, politicoadministrativa i econòmica recent; i (iii) l'especialització funcional. Conclusions: El resultat de l'estudi ofereix una tipologia dels municipis amb conjunt històric d'acord amb la dimensió espacial i funcional analitzada. Aquesta tipologia es presenta com un instrument operatiu que permet identificar un conjunt d'oportunitats i reptes que cal considerar en la planificació urbanística i en l'ordenació del territori. Originalitat: Aquest coneixement generat serveix de suport per guiar la intervenció en àmbits patrimonials com els conjunts històrics, alhora que contribueix a integrar la qüestió patrimonial en la construcció de nous projectes per a les metròpolis i els seus territoris metropolitans.Objective: Which is the role of towns and cities with conservation areas in the context of the urban system and/or emerging multicentre urban regions? What are the implications -opportunities and threats- of metropolitan dynamics in this type of towns/cities? With the attention paid on these questions and based on a spatial and a functional analysis, this paper aims in providing new criteria to debate on managing of municipalities with conservation areas taking into account the urban/metropolitan system which they are part. Methodology: Taking the madrilenian urban region as the case of study and the municipality as the unit of analysis, three aspects regarding spatial and functional features are studied: (i) the spatial patterns of population and employment, as well as the city-ranking; (ii) the territorial centrality as a result from the trajectories (historical status), the political-administrative role and the current economic status (economic centres); and (iii) the functional specialization. Conclusions: The study concludes with a typology of the municipalities with Historic-Artistic Grouping based on spatial and functional dimensions. This typology functions as a tool that allows to the identification of different opportunities and threats to be considering in city planning and regional planning. Originality: The knowledge generated guides future strategies to be implemented in municipalities with conservation areas and, at the same time, contributes to integrate the heritage issue in new development projects/plans.Peer Reviewe

Rubens Henríquez como catalizador de la Arquitectura vernácula en Canarias

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo entender la importancia del concepto de la arquitectura vernácula que se produce en Tenerife (Islas Canarias) en los años 60 del pasado siglo XIX; para posteriormente entender porqué se ha definido en este título a Rubens Henríquez como catalizador de esta arquitectura. Para ello se hará una introducción sobre esta arquitectura con el fin de entender el contexto y su importancia. Se estudiará más concretamente obras de otros autores coetáneos a Henríquez para entender que, a pesar de no ser un pensamiento generalizado, no era un hecho aislado. Finalmente analizaremos tres ejemplos de Rubens para entender que, mientras otros muchos arquitectos se dejaban llevar por el boom del turismo y el fuerte crecimiento de la construcción en las islas, él no abandonó esa sensibilidad y conseguió transmitirla con su ArquitecturaGrado en Fundamentos de la Arquitectur

Application of Analytical Systems in Current Physical Education

Los sistemas analíticos han contribuido con su forma de entender los contenidos y con su particular metodología de trabajo a conformar lo que hoy en día vemos en cada centro educativo en las sesiones de Educación Física. Comenzaré el artículo realizando un análisis de la importante influencia de los sistemas analíticos en la clase de educación física, para pasar tras esto, a mostrar las características generales de dichos sistemas analíticos. Después de esto, indagaré sobre las posibles aplicaciones actuales, incidiendo sobre manera en la educación física actual y en su relación con el currículo del área que nos ocupa.The analytical systems have contributed with their way of understanding the contents and the methodology to conform what we see in each educational center in the Physical Education sessions. In this way, I will begin the article by analyzing the important influence of analytical systems on physical education, to go on to show the general characteristics of such analytical systems. After this, I will inquire about possible current applications, focusing on nowadays physical education and its relationship with the curriculum of the area at hand
