Code Switching and Code Mixing Found in the Novel Supernova: Ksatria, Puteri Dan Bintang Jatuh by Dewi Lestari

Language is a tool of communication from one person to another. They use English as one of the International language to be able to communicate with people from other nations. As we know, western culture has been spread in Indonesia especially in language terms. As a consequence, most of the Indonesian people use the variety of languages. The variety of language in Indonesia includes code switching and code mixing. The phenomenon of switching and mixing languages can be found in many aspects, for example in films, poems, songs, and novels. From this reason, the writer takes Supernova: Ksatria, Puteri dan Bintang Jatuh by Dewi Lestari novel as the object of this study because there are many code switching and code mixing terms of English and Indonesia used in this novel. This study investigated the types of code switching and code mixing which occur in the dialogues spoken by the main characters and the reasons why the characters switch or mix their dialogues. The writer used theories proposed by Hoffmann (1991). This study used a descriptive qualitative method because it provided description data. In addition, the writer described the type of code switching and code mixing of each utterance in the novel. The results showed from 108 utterances, 75 for Intra-sentential, 26 for Intersentential, four for intra-lexical, and three for establishing continuity with the previous speaker. It is because there are many of English terms that are familiar to them so that they can use in their utterances easily. The results also showed from 108 utterances, 26 utterances include reason talking about particular topic and eight other reasons also appear in the data. In conclusion, the writer found four types and nine reasons about the use of code switching and code mixing. The writer suggests the students of English Department to analyze code mixing and code switching in a movie or script. Besides, the next researcher can study more about other speech analysis such as presupposition and address terms

PENGARUH PENANAMAN MODAL DALAM PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI SURABAYA

Pertumbuhan ekonomi yaitu perkembangan kegiatan dalam perekonomian yang menyebabkan barang dan jasa yang diproduksi dalam masyarakat bertambah dan kemakmuran masyarakat meningkat. Perkembangan ekonomi yang berlaku dari waktu ke waktu dan menyebabkan pendapatan nasional riil semakin berkembang. Tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi menunjukkan prestasi kenaikan pendapatan nasional riil pada suatu tahun tertentu dibandingkan dengan pendapatan nasional riil pada tahun sebelumnya.Besarnya pendapatan nasional diukur dari komponen-komponen expenditure para pelaku ekonominya lewat anggaran-anggarannya yaitu; sektor rumah tangga (C), perilaku usaha dan dunia usaha tercermin lewat komponen investasi (I) yang ditanam, pemerintah melalui anggaran belanjanya (G) dan sektor perdagangan internasional yang tercermin lewat nilai Ekspor / Impor netto-nya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis variabel bebas mana yang berpengaruh paling dominan dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi di Surabaya.Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yaitu data time series pada tahun 1994-2013. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda dan variabel yang digunakan adalah Penanaman Modal Asing(X1), Penanaman Modal Dalam Negeri (X2), Ekspor (X3), Impor (X4),Inflasi (X5) dan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (Y) sebagai variabel terikatnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, variabel Penanaman Modal Asing (X1) tidak berpengaruh signifikan dalam Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Surabaya, variabel Penanaman Modal Dalam Negeri (X2) tidak berpengaruh signifikan dalam Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Surabaya, variabel Ekspor (X3) berpengaruh signifikan pada taraf kepercayaan 95% dalam Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Surabaya, variabel Impor (X4) tidak berpengaruh signifikan dalam Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Surabaya sedangkan variabel Inflasi (X5) berpengaruh signifikan pada taraf kepercayaan 85% dalam Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Surabaya. Niat Menjadi Pelanggan: Sebuah Studi Empirik Pada Ritel Food and Groceries

The Retail business sector is one of the sectors affected by the Covid-19 virus. However, not all retailers have experienced a downturn due to Covid-19, retail businesses such as minimarkets have experienced rapid growth in sales of goods during this pandemic, this is because consumers are still focused on basic needs and cleaning tools. Minimarkets are also superior in terms of comfort and ease of access. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of store attribute variables, the satisfaction on the patronage intention moderated by lifestyle and mediated by the satisfaction with store experience as a control variable on the behavior of selecting food and grocery stores on the top brand award retail minimarket. Researchers used a 5-point Likert scale in measuring variables. The data collection method in this study used an online questionnaire with non-probability techniques with judgment sampling technique, while the research subjects were 280 respondents as buyers of the top brand award minimarkets in Jakarta and Tangerang. For hypothesis testing between variables, the data were processed using SmartPLS version 3.0. The results of the study show that store attributes have no significant effect on the patronage intention, store attributes have a significant effect on the satisfaction, the satisfaction has a significant effect on the patronage intention, the satisfaction is proven to be mediating, lifestyle is not shown to moderate, and store experience has an effect significant impact on the patronage intention. The indication of R² from the results of data processing shows that the variable ability of store attributes, level of satisfaction, lifestyle and store experience in explaining the patronage intention (Y) is 55.68% and 44.32% is explained by other factors outside of this study.

PENGARUH FINANCING TO DEPOSIT RATIO (FDR), NET INTEREST MARGIN (NIM) DAN GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE (GCG) TERHADAP NON PERFORMING FINANCING (NPF) PADA BANK UMUM SYARIAH DI INDONESIA

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Financing to Deposit Ratio(FDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM) dan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) terhadap Non Performing Financing (NPF) pada Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan metode sensus dalam menganalisa populasi penelitian.Populasi sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh bank umum syariah yang menerbitkan laporan keuangan selama tahun 2011-2014 yang berjumlah 11 bank. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan bank umum syariah yang berjumlah 44 laporan keuangan selama empat tahun. Pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji analisis regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa FDR, NIM dan GCG secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap NPF pada Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia. TERAPI AKTIVITAS KELOMPOK (TAK) STIMULASI PERSEPSI DALAM MENURUNKAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA LANSIA

Success elderly people are those who are active, does not work, follow elderly integrated health service (HIS), have healthy lifestyle, , cheerful, and able to maintain their health. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Activity Group Therapeutic (AGT) Perception Stimulation on Anxiety Levels at Elderly in Damarsi village Buduran Sidoarjo.Study design is Quasi Experiment with pre-post test control group approach, the population were entire elderly with amount 75 person, some of them 34 respondents taken as sample by simple random sampling method. The independent variable is Activity Group Therapeutic (AGT) Perception Stimulation, the dependent variable is anxiety. Study instrument use questionnaire, observation sheet. Statistical test use Wilcoxon test with a significance level α = 0.05.The result of the study before the daily routine of 22 respondents are the control group anxiety level was 59,1%, and after the daily routine there is a level of anxiety was 68,2%. While 12 respondents treatment group before (AGT) there is anxiety level was 100% and after (AGT) are mild anxiety level of 75,0%. Wilcoxon test showed the treatment group ρ = 0,003, ρ < α means no influence Activity Group Therapeutic (AGT) Perception Stimulation of the level of anxiety in the elderly in the village Damarsi Buduran Sidoarjo.Elderly anxiety level can be scaled by one of them Activity Group Therapeutic (AGT) Perception Stimulation. Job description or work flows is an important thing that needed in every company or organization. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of job description on civil servants performance in Tembilahan subdistrict office .Independent variable of this research is job description, and dependent variable is performance. Population of this research are 30 Civil Servants workers in Tembilahan subdistrict office.Sampling technique used is total sampling or census. Data analysis used is linear regression. The influence of transformational leadership style towards organizational commitment

This paper was study about the variables that influence significantly towards organizational commitment in PT Pertamina (Marketing Division), Palembang, Indonesia. The objective of this research is to examine the influence of leadership style towards organizational commitment in terms of gender, age, and level of education. A total of 117 questionnaires were distributed based on the total Pertamina employee in Palembang. Employees are randomly approached and given the questionnaire. However, due to some limitations such as busy schedule worker and unwillingness to participated, it took some time to collect back the questionnaire. After given some period of time, only 98 are successfully collected back. And after checking the missing question for valid questionnaire, just 88 questionnaires those can be used as valid questionnaire from respondent. The remaining questionnaires are just collected and not take part on this research. Later, the data obtained from the study was analyzed by using descriptive analysis.
