Para comprobar el algoritmo propuesto se emplea el sistema eléctrico de la ciudad de Pereira./ This paper presents a mathematical model of the problem of the planning of systems of electrical distribution which considers the location and sizing of new feeders and substations, and the reconductorazing of existing feeders. The mathematical model used is of the type Lineal Mixed Integer Programming (LMIP) and to solve it, an algorithm of Branch and Bound is used. In order to test the proposed algorithm, the electrical system of the city of Pereira is used
Educational applications of augmented reality: A bibliometric study
[EN]
Augmented Reality (AR) has been used successfully in several industries; one of these is education. A systematic understanding of how AR contributes to education still lacks studies about the content type and its effects on learning outcomes. This article systematically analyzes the AR state-of-the-art in education, determines productivity and publication indicators in this field, and identifies research works that have studied how content type affects the learning outcomes. The methodology was performed through a bibliometric analysis using the Scopus database, focusing on AR's educational uses. Engineering education is the primary research trend, followed by simulation, tracking, and virtual reality. Education and e-learning also have leading roles within this analysis, along with gamification and human-computer interaction, whose impacts are further explored. There is no preferred design methodology for creating AR content. In its absence, most of the works suggest a design based on the developers' and researchers' experience. The authors thank the editors and two anonymous reviewers for their highly constructive feedback.

The curricular design and its execution is based on different theoretical references which include aspects such as the philosophical, epistemological, psychological, anthropological, sociological and pedagogical ones, as well as a reflection about its relevance, it is also a social research focus on flexibility and interdisciplinary among other scenarios that make the suitability of the curriculum complex; as in Martha Nussbaum’s words, education must allow society to occupy “its fair place” for the formation of free, autonomous, compassionate and critical societies. The proposed bibliographical analysis highlights the different research tendencies that include innovative techniques, methods and/or models that define the curricular design for the development of competencies in secondary education students, for which some categories and sub-categories of analysis have been established, which identified among other aspects, the lack of human capacities and the need for greater articulation of the curriculum in the contexts of life.
Reconfiguration model using knowledge based engineering systems
Globalization has forced enterprises to adapt their products and services to remain competitive in the free market. Manufacture plays an important role in the competitive aspect; it is where an innovation in the production system could lead to business advantage. These innovations usually involve the key elements in manufacturing systems: machines, tools and resources administration. A reconfigurable manufacturing system (RMS) is one designed for rapid change in its structure and components, to quickly adjust its production capacity and functionality in response to sudden market or intrinsic system changes. However, reconfiguration alone is not enough since it will provide information to produce a certain item but it won t provide the components that will automate the machine tool for mass production. The process of automation of machine tools is known as retrofit, process being developed and researched in emergent economies. The current retrofit kits are expensive and are not tailor made, thus, they are not attractive for small and medium enterprises. This article describes a solution for fast reconfiguration of machine tools using the Knowledge Based-Engineering System methodology (KBES) that allows to obtain, structure and manage the knowledge generated in a determined engineering process, in this case, the reconfiguration processHincapié Montoya, M.; Güemes-Castorena, D.; Contero, M.; Ramírez-Cadena, M.; Diaz, C. Cattle production under grazing with improved forages in the lowland tropics of Colombia
* Increase in global population and changes in people’s lifestyles and diets generate high demand for animal protein sources.
* Cattle production systems in Colombia are mostly extensive and inefficient.
* The International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) works on sustainable intensification (SI) of livestock systems through improving their efficiency and productivity while mitigating negative environmental effects (e.g. deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions).
* SI of livestock systems can be achieved through selection and breeding and subsequent adoption of improved forages, which can either be used as stand-alone technology or be part of a (e.g. silvopastoral) system.
* Silvopastoral systems (SPS) have shown excellent results in terms of higher biomass production, higher animal stocking rates, better nutritional quality and positive environmental effects
Preserving and spreading spaces is a social function that should maintain together the people and cannot be less important than progress and development. Technology plays a media facilitator role allowing experiencing different spaces and places historically important but physically inaccessible for his disappearance. Recently, applications have been developed which revive cultural heritage using technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality and serious games. However, most are case studies reporting work in a specific subject and a methodological framework to guide and facilitate the development of such applications has not been proposed. In this paper, a conceptual methodological framework which guides the development of cultural heritage applications while maximizing the users' cultural heritage learning is proposed.

Generation of Digital Contents to Reactivate Architectural Patrimony. Case Study: “Plaza de Mercado de Techo Cubierto de Guayaquil” in Medellin
Thanks to own technological resources and the convergence of media such as interactive texts, data that allow tactile navigation, maps, planes, images, and virtual models, among others, the material patrimony can be celebrated, contemplated, and admired just by pushing a key. Graphic recreation of a historical building, such as “Plaza de Mercado de Techo Cubierto de Guayaquil,” study case of this research and city site colloquially known as “Plaza Cisneros de Medellin,” was a social milestone of the nineteenth century, since places around this building were the scenarios of marketing and transportations movements in Medellin. For this reason, and thanks to the technology known as Augmented Reality (AR) and the creation of digital contents provided in the research, personalization of information related to cultural patrimony ca be achieved, as well as its handling through mobile devices as mass communication tools by means of which several audiences access contents, navigation routines, and digital information consumption, entertainment experiences, online networking through communication servicesGracias a recursos propios de la tecnología y la convergencia de medios como textos interactivos, datos que permiten navegación táctil, mapas, planos, imágenes y modelos virtuales, entre otros, el patrimonio material puede ser celebrado, contemplado y admirado presionando una tecla.
