Análise cienciométrica em Educação Especial: tendências e importância nos últimos 60 anos

Special education in Brazil is defined in law as “the type of education offered preferentially in the regular classes for students with special needs education”. However, this proposal of special education has not always been defined in this way, and a factor that contributed greatly to the consolidation of special education as a specific field of study was the research and theis resulting publications. Thus, this study aimed to make a scientometric analysis in the field of special education in order to determine which are and were the main trends of research over the years, and to review literature on the history of special education. It was felt that the issue of special education has undergone major advances, with consequent recovery of the subject with special needs. The scientometric analysis in special education to suggest that there has been a great evolution in the area, including a fact explained by the large number of papers published over time and the different aspects of his publications. Reflections on scientometrics in special education characterize the global production of special education and provide input for further research are made in this area. Thus, the construction and analysis of these indicators have provided input to view the state of the art in special education.A Educação Especial no Brasil é definida em lei como “a modalidade de educação, oferecida preferencialmente na rede regular de ensino, para educandos portadores de necessidades especiais de ensino”. Entretanto, essa proposta da Educação Especial nem sempre foi definida dessa maneira, já que não estava atrelada ao conceito de inclusão e integração. Um dos fatores que muito colaborou para a consolidação da Educação Especial como um campo específico de estudo foram as pesquisas na área e suas consequentes publicações. Dessa maneira, esse trabalho objetivou realizar uma análise cienciométrica na área de Educação Especial, a fim de verificar quais são e foram as principais tendências de pesquisa ao longo dos anos. Percebeu-se que a temática da Educação Especial sofreu grandes avanços, com consequente valorização do sujeito portador de necessidades especiais. A análise cienciométrica em Educação Especial permite afirmar que houve uma evolução muito grande na área, fato esse explicitado inclusive pelo grande número de trabalhos publicados ao longo do tempo e as diferentes temáticas de suas publicações. As reflexões sobre cienciometria em Educação Especial permitiram caracterizar a produção mundial sobre Educação Especial e oferecem subsídios para que novas pesquisas sejam feitas nessa área. Dessa maneira, a construção e análise desses indicadores forneceram contribuições para visualizar o estado da arte em Educação Especial.Palavras-chave: Educação Especial. Cienciometria. Characterization and biogeographic history of neotropical dry ecosystems

A região Neotropical, detentora da maior riqueza de espécies no globo, ocorre do México Central ao sul do Brasil. Neste trabalho, buscamos sumarizar as principais informações disponíveis na literatura que caracterizam os biomas neotropicais de Florestas Sazonalmente Seca (FTSS), Chaco e Savanas. Revisamos hipóteses biogeográficas concernentes a esses ambientes que buscam explicar sua dinâmica histórica. Nosso objetivo é oferecer uma caracterização desses biomas como etapa principal para o entendimento das principais hipóteses biogeográficas a eles associadas. Ainda que comporte como um cenário atraente para pesquisa, as espécies neotropicais são pouco estudas, sendo questões referentes a seus aspectos ecológicos, origem, história evolutiva e manutenção da elevada biodiversidade desconhecidas ou, ainda, pouco compreendidas. Embora, nossa revisão apresente pesquisas com diferentes pontos de vista quanto à dinâmica biogeográfica das formações vegetais, há consenso de que é produto de complexa interação entre os processos históricos, ecológicos e biológicos. Os estudos em biodiversidade de regiões ameaçadas, como os Neotrópicos, são norteadores para simulações e previsões de impactos, planos e estratégias de pesquisa.The Neotropical region holds the largest species richness in the globe, occurring from Central Mexico to southern of Brazil. In this paper, we aim to summarize the main information available in the literature that characterizes the Neotropical biomes of Seasonally Dry Forests (SDF), Chaco and Savannas. Here we surveyed and reviewed biogeographic hypotheses concerning these environments that seek to explain their historical dynamics. Our goal is to offer a characterization of these biomes as a major step towards the understanding of the main hypotheses biogeographical associated with them. Although it supports an attractive scenario for research, Neotropical species are poorly studied, and questions concerning their ecological aspects, origin, evolutionary history and maintenance of the high biodiversity are unknown or even little understood. Although our review presents researches with different points of view regarding the biogeographic dynamics of vegetation formations, there is a consensus of being the product of a complex interaction between the historical, ecological and biological processes. Biodiversity studies of threatened regions, such as the Neotropic, are guidance for simulations and impacts predictions, for plans and research strategies

EcoClimate: a database of climate data from multiple models for past, present, and future for macroecologists and biogeographers

Studies in biogeography and macroecology have been increasing massively since climate and biodiversity databases became easily accessible. Climate simulations for past, present, and future have enabled macroecologists and biogeographers to combine data on species’ occurrences with detailed information on climatic conditions through time to predict biological responses across large spatial and temporal scales. Here we present and describe ecoClimate, a free and open data repository developed to serve useful climate data to macroecologists and biogeographers. ecoClimate arose from the need for climate layers with which to build ecological niche models and test macroecological and biogeographic hypotheses in the past, present, and future. ecoClimate offers a suite of processed, multi-temporal climate data sets from the most recent multi-model ensembles developed by the Coupled Modeling Intercomparison Projects (CMIP5) and Paleoclimate Modeling Intercomparison Projects (PMIP3) across past, present, and future time frames, at global extents and 0.5° spatial resolution, in convenient formats for analysis and manipulation. A priority of ecoClimate is consistency across these diverse data, but retaining information on uncertainties among model predictions. The ecoClimate research group intends to maintain the web repository updated continuously as new model outputs become available, as well as software that makes our workflows broadly accessible

O ensino de química para alunos surdos e ouvintes: utilizando a experimentação como estratégia didática para o ensino de Cinética Química

De acordo com as pesquisas realizadas, temos observado que ainda não existeuma estratégia didática padrão para ministrar uma aula de química paraestudantes surdos de maneira que eles possam participar e aprender ativamente.Nesse sentido, existem problemas que são frequentemente relatados em relaçãoao ensino de química em espaços inclusivos. Com o intuito de buscar soluções, foicriada uma estratégia didática sobre o tópico de “Cinética Química”, com autilização de quatro experimentos, juntamente com a aula expositiva-dialogada.A estratégia didática foi avaliada a partir da resolução de questionários e criaçãode desenhos. Observamos que essa metodologia auxiliou na visualização dosconteúdos para todos os alunos. Dessa forma, inserimos a utilização dos aspectosvisuais como facilitadora da aquisição de conhecimento científico, ajudando noprocesso de inclusão escolar
