High intensity ultrasound application on rheological properties effects of native soy protein isolate

Industrial protein modification methods are mainly based on the use of heat, enzymes or reducing agents of achieving various functional properties that make them suitable for use in various foods. The use of high intensity ultrasound (US) has been applied in various operations in food processing. Soy protein was isolated. The solubility; the flow behavior by viscometer, the size distribution and zeta potential particle were studied. The gel point was analyzed by dynamic rheometry and frequency sweeps characterizing the viscoelasticity of the gel formed. Samples at a frequency of 20 kHz and amplitude of 20%, were treated for 20 minutes. The solubility showed a large increase. However, the viscosity showed no changes after HIUS; matching the results obtained in the study with particle size distribution. The zeta potential increased significantly with the unaltered capacity of gelation would be related to a structural modification imparted by the HIUS.Fil: Sullca Grimaldez, Lourdes. El modernismo de Anglada- Camarasa y su conexión con algunos poetas contemporáneos

En esta breve investigación que se realiza sobre "El Modernismo de Anglada- Camarasa y su conexión con los poetas contemporáneos", tratamos de expresar como en este brillante momento artístico las Bellas Artes en general se encontraban en total comunicación: pintores, escultores, arquitectos, poetas, músicos y todos aquellos artistas dedicados a las Artes Suntuarias: orfebres, esmaltistas, joyeros...etc. respondían a una creatividad e ilusiones parecidas: coloristas, luminosos, románticos... porque el Modernismo es un movimiento eminentemente romántico. ya que significa una ruptura total con el academicismo ecléctico y una vuelta a la naturaleza en la que el artista se expresa con libertad en cualquier parcela artística que represente. Si pensamos en las máximas del grupo de pintores "nabis" veremos que responden casi totalmente a la idea artística modernista: la vuelta a la naturaleza, la ilusión por los temas simbolistas y románticos, la inspiración en los motivos ornamentales orientales...etc.The intention of this brief essay "The Modernism of Anglada-Camarasa and its connection with contemporany poets" is to analyse the relations among the Fine Arts during the bright epoch of the movement known as Modernism. Painters, sculptors,architects, poets, musicians and all decorative artists such as metalworkers, enamel painters, jewellers, etc.were all devoted to a similar process of inspiration and creativity. Their work was full of colour,light and romanticism, being Modernism a deeply romantic movement since it means a total rupture with the eclectic academism as well as a return to nature within which the artists express their feelings with total freldown in any artistic field. The aim of group of painters called " nabis" complies almost totally with the modernistic idea of nature, use of symbolist and romantic themes and an inspiration on oriental ornamental motives for their works..

Proyectos de Aprendizaje Tutorados y autoevaluación de competencias profesionales en la formación inicial del profesorado

En un contexto actual de aprendizaje y evaluación por competencias en la Formación Inicial del Profesorado (FIP), este artículo pretende alcanzar un doble objetivo. Por un lado valorar la adecuación de proyectos de aprendizaje tutorados (PAT) como «buena práctica» eficaz para adquirir competencias profesionales. Y, por otro lado, analizar el grado de utilidad de una escala de percepción para poder autoevaluarlas. Los participantes han sido140 estudiantes de la asignatura de Educación Psicomotriz de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona y su profesora. Los datos cuantitativos y cualitativos se han obtenido a partir de tres instrumentos: Cuestionario sobre el PAT, una Escala de autopercepción de competencias por parte del alumnado, y un Informe de docencia por parte del profesorado. Los resultados muestran que todos los estudiantes mejoran la autopercepción del grado de competencias profesionales adquiridas desde el inicio hasta el final del proyecto de forma global. Ordenadas de más a menos serían las competencias de: organización, evaluación, trabajo en equipo, programación, ambiente y difusión. Se concluye que los PAT implementados en contextos reales de intervención con equipos de profesorado mixtos universidad-maestros escuela son eficaces para adquirir competencias profesionales y que la escala de autopercepción utilizada es útil para autoevaluarlas reflexionando y siendo consciente de los cambios que se van produciendo desde el inicio hasta el final de su formación.In the current context of competences-based learning and assessment in Pre-service Teacher Education, this study assesses a Project of Oriented Learning which is used as an example of good practice to achieve professional competencies and analyze the level of usefulness of a self-assessment scale. One-hundred forty students from the subject «Psychomotor Education» at Autonomous University of Barcelona and their professor participated in the study. The tools used to gather quantitative and qualitative data were: a questionnaire, a self-perception scale of the students' competencies and two professors' teaching reports. The results show that all the students improved their level of self-perception of the professional competencies achieved during the project. In order of importance, these competences are: organization, assessment, teamwork, learning environment and dissemination. The conclusion of the study is that these types of projects, when implemented in real contexts with mixed teams composed of university professors and school teachers, are efficient not only to achieve professional competencies through reflection but also to be aware of the different changes that occur during the education process

Análisis del proceso de innovación y adaptación de una asignatura al espacio europeo de educación superior

Actualmente, estamos inmersos en un proceso de reforma de la educación superior que nos depara nuevas exigencias y nuevos retos. Cuatro profesoras de Desarrollo Psicomotor de la UAB desde el año 2003, decidimos realizar la adaptación al espacio europeo de educación superior (EEES), interpretándola como un proceso de innovación a partir de trabajar en equipo todo el profesorado, revisar profundamente el programa de la asignatura, considerar todo el proceso de formación del estudiante, tanto a partir de competencias de carácter profesional como personal y no sólo de tener en cuenta los resultados, establecer una buena relación entre la teoría y la práctica, contemplar una evaluación inicial, formativa, compartida, individual, grupal y de autoevaluación, tanto del alumnado como del profesorado, y usar las nuevas tecnologías. Todo esto gracias a la voluntad del profesorado de querer participar en un proyecto de innovación docente de experimentación de la metodología con créditos europeos en la titulación de Maestro de Educación Infantil, dentro de un plan piloto de adaptación al EEES y lo que ello ha supuesto como miembros del grupo de investigación de desarrollo psicomotor de la UAB.Currently, we are in a process of reform of higher education that demands us new needs and new challenges. 4 teachers of Psychomotor Development of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) since the academic year 2003, decided to perform this adaptation to the European Space of High Teaching as a process of innovation to start up to work in team with of the teachers staff, revise deeply the program of the subject, take into account all the process of formation of the student in away of competences of professional character as personal not only taking into account the results, create a good relationship theorical-practical, thinking about an initial assessment formative, shared, individual, and grouping, and self-assessment as well affecting to the students to the teaching, and the usage of new technologies. All this due to the willing of the teaching of wanting to take part in a teaching project of the methodology with European credits, in the degree of master of child education, inside of a pilot plan of EEES and what this has affected as a member of the group of psychomotor research investigation of UAB

Overlapping factors in search engine optimization and web accessibility

Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to show that the pursuit of a high search engine relevance ranking for a webpage is not necessarily incompatible with the pursuit of web accessibility. Design/methodology/approach - The research described arose from an investigation into the observed phenomenon that pages from accessible websites regularly appear near the top of search engine (such as Google) results, without any deliberate effort having been made through the application of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to achieve this. The reasons for this phenomenon appear to be found in the numerous similarities and overlapping characteristics between SEO factors and web accessibility guidelines. Context is provided through a review of sources including accessibility standards and relevant SEO studies and the relationship between SEO and web accessibility is described. The particular overlapping factors between the two are identified and the precise nature of the overlaps is explained in greater detail. Findings - The available literature provides firm evidence that the overlapping factors not only serve to ensure the accessibility of a website for all users, but are also useful for the optimization of the website's search engine ranking. The research demonstrates that any SEO project undertaken should include, as a prerequisite, the proper design of accessible web content, inasmuch as search engines will interpret the web accessibility achieved as an indicator of quality and will be able to better access and index the resulting web content. Estrategias para enseñar contenidos matemáticos a alumnos ciegos o con baja visión

Las estrategias que se presentarán están encuadradas en el marco de un modelo social de discapacidad e inclusivo de la educación. Utilización de materiales no convencionales. Se representan gráficamente distintos tipos de funciones con el objetivo de enseñar algunos contenidos de análisis matemático correspondientes al tercer año de bachillerato de la enseñanza media opción social. El trabajo en modalidad de taller permitirá a los participantes tomar contacto con las técnicas empleadas para reflexionar sobre ellas y adaptarlas a diferentes contextos
