    New space vector modulation algorithms applied to multilevel converters with balanced DC-link voltage

    This work presents a survey of new space vector modulation algorithms for high power voltage source multilevel converters. These techniques provide the nearest switching vectors sequence to the reference vector and calculates the on-state durations of the respective switching state vectors without involving trigonometric functions, look-up tables or coordinate system transformations which increase the computational load corresponding to the modulation of a multilevel converter. These algorithms drastically reduce the computational load maintained permitting the on-line computation of the switching sequence and the on-state durations of the respective switching state vectors. The on-state durations are reduced to a simple addition. In addition, the low computational cost of the proposed methods is always the same and it is independent of the number of levels of the converter.     El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo general el determinar la eficacia y la eficiencia del Proceso Inmediato de los Juzgados de Flagrancia delictiva en el Distrito Judicial de La Libertad en la administración de justicia penal. La recopilación de datos en cuanto a lo teórico debemos decir que utilizamos el método dogmático y la técnica del fichaje para lo referente a la información doctrinaria, y el método hermenéutico jurídico para lo referente al estudio normativo; en cuanto a la recopilación de datos de campo utilizamos el método de inductivo y deductivo, las técnicas de la observación social no participante y como instrumento de recolección de datos el cuestionario de expertos. En cuanto a los resultados más importantes que hemos obtenido en nuestra etapa de ejecución es que existe un alto porcentaje de aceptación de cumplimiento de los principios de celeridad procesal, de inmediación, de contradicción, defensa procesal, razonabilidad y proporcionalidad; asimismo, se han cumplido con los plazos en los procesos inmediatos de flagrancia delictiva, existe mínima incidencia de autos y sentencias recurridas, se evidencia una disminución de la carga procesal que detentan los Juzgados de Investigación Preparatoria y existe un alto porcentaje de aplicación de los Protocolos de Mecanismos de Negociación y Solución del Conflicto Penal.This research has the general objective to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the immediate process of Flagrancy criminal courts in the Judicial District of La Libertad in the administration of criminal justice. The collection of data as to what we say we use theoretical dogmatic technique signing for doctrinaire concerning the method and information, and the legal hermeneutical method with regard to the normative study; regarding the collection of field data we use the inductive and deductive method, the techniques of social and non-participant observation as an instrument of data collection questionnaire experts. As for the most important results we have obtained in our implementation stage it is that there is a high acceptance rate of compliance with the principles of procedural speed, the immediacy, the contradiction, procedural defense, reasonableness and proportionality; also they have met the deadlines in the immediate process of criminal redhanded, there is minimal impact of cars and contested judgments, evidenced a decrease in caseload who hold the courts of preliminary investigation and there is a high percentage of implementation of the Protocols mechanisms of Criminal Negotiation and Conflict.Tesi

    Optimal Scheduling of Energy Storage Using A New Priority-Based Smart Grid Control Method

    This paper presents a method to optimally use an energy storage system (such as a battery) on a microgrid with load and photovoltaic generation. The purpose of the method is to employ the photovoltaic generation and energy storage systems to reduce the main grid bill, which includes an energy cost and a power peak cost. The method predicts the loads and generation power of each day, and then searches for an optimal storage behavior plan for the energy storage system according to these predictions. However, this plan is not followed in an open-loop control structure as in previous publications, but provided to a real-time decision algorithm, which also considers real power measures. This algorithm considers a series of device priorities in addition to the storage plan, which makes it robust enough to comply with unpredicted situations. The whole proposed method is implemented on a real-hardware test bench, with its different steps being distributed between a personal computer and a programmable logic controller according to their time scale. When compared to a different state-of-the-art method, the proposed method is concluded to better adjust the energy storage system usage to the photovoltaic generation and general consumption.Unión Europea ID 100205Unión Europea ID 26937

    Discusión crítica sobre la valoración de los activos mas relevanters en los clubesde futbol: Visión de auditores

    This paper proves that under current international accounting standards, the most relevant assets of all professional soccer clubs at year-end, players’ transfer fees, can be measured and disclosed at fair value. Research was based on a triangulation approach. Firstly, a theoretical discussion regarding the feasibility of Fair Value Accounting as opposed to Historical Cost Accounting as currently applied was carried out. Secondly, an extra-accounting assessment technique occasionally used by clubs was analysed in depth. Thirdly, qualitative research work was undertaken which included surveys and interviews with soccer clubs financial auditors. This work shows how unreliable the financial statements figures of these intangible assets in soccer clubs are, and consequently points to the lack of transparency generated by applying the inadequate currently accounting valuation. It also demonstrates the need to apply a valid and feasible ex-ternal valuation technique at fair value complying with IFRS requirements. A new contribution is made using a valuation and disclosure proposal which could avoid current accounting misreporting, thus helping not only the football clubs’ stakeholders in their decision-making process, but also the UEFA with their "Financial Fair Play"1regulation which monitors clubs finances.Este artículo demuestra que, según las NIC/NIIF actuales, los activos más relevantes de todos los clubes de fútbol profesionales al final del año, los denominados "Derechos de Traspaso de Jugadores", pueden medirse y divulgarse a su valor razonable. La investigación se basó en un enfoque de triangulación. En primer lugar, se realizó una discusión teórica sobre la viabilidad de la contabilidad a valor razonable en comparación con la contabilidad a coste histórico, que actualmente se aplica. En segundo lugar, se analizó en profundidad una técnica de evaluación extracontable, utilizada esporádicamente por los clubes. En tercer lugar, se realizó un trabajo de investigación cualitativa, que incluyó encuestas y entrevistas a auditores externos de estados financieros de los clubes de fútbol. El trabajo realizado evidencia cuán poco fiables son las cifras de estos intangibles de los clubes de fútbol en sus estados financieros y, en consecuencia, la falta de transparencia generada al aplicar la inadecuada valoración contable actual. También evidencia la necesidad de aplicar una técnica de valoración externa válida y factible a valor razonable, que cumpla con los requisitos de las NIIF. Como contribución novedosa, se sugiere una propuesta de valoración y divulgación, que podría resolver esta deficiencia contable actual, ayudando no sólo al proceso de toma de decisiones de las partes interesadas en los clubes de fútbol, ​​sino también a la UEFA en su regulación "Financial Fair Play"1 para controlar las finanzas de los clubes

    Analysis of the Use of Color and Its Emotional Relationship in Visual Creations Based on Experiences during the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic

    Color is a complex communicative element. At the level of artistic creation, this component influences both formal aspects and symbolic weight, directly affecting the construction of the message, and its associated emotion. During the COVID-19 pandemic, people generated countless images transmitting the subjective experiences of this event, and the social network Instagram was used to share this visual material. Using the repository of images created in the Instagram account CAM (The COVID Art Museum), we propose a methodology to understand the use of color and its emotional relationship in this context. The proposed methodology consists of creating a model that learns to recognize emotions via a convolutional neural network using the ArtEmis database. This model will subsequently be applied to recognize emotions in the CAM dataset, also extracting color attributes and their harmonies. Once both processes are completed, we combine the results, generating an expanded discussion on the usage of color and emotion. The results indicate that warm colors and analog compositions prevail in the sample. The relationship between emotions and composition shows a trend in positive emotions, reinforced by the results of the emotional relationship analysis of color attributes (hue, saturation, and lighting

    Geophysical Prospecting for Geothermal Resources in the South of the Duero Basin (Spain)

    [EN]The geothermal resources in Spain have been a source of deep research in recent years and are, in general, well-defined. However, there are some areas where the records from the National Institute for Geology and Mining show thermal activity from different sources despite no geothermal resources being registered there. This is the case of the area in the south of the Duero basin where this research was carried out. Seizing the opportunity of a deep borehole being drilled in the location, some geophysical resources were used to gather information about the geothermal properties of the area. The employed geophysical methods were time-domain electromagnetics (TDEM) and borehole logging; the first provided information about the depth of the bedrock and the general geological structure, whereas the second one gave more detail on the geological composition of the different layers and a temperature record across the whole sounding. The results allowed us to establish the geothermal gradient of the area and to discern the depth of the bedrock. Using the first 200 m of the borehole logging, the thermal conductivity of the ground for shallow geothermal systems was estimated
