On the Singular Scheme of Split Foliations

We prove that the tangent sheaf of a codimension one locally free distribution splits as a sum of line bundles if and only if its singular scheme is arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay. In addition, we show that a foliation by curves is given by an intersection of generically transversal holomorphic distributions of codimension one if and only if its singular scheme is arithmetically Buchsbaum. Finally, we establish that these foliations are determined by their singular schemes, and deduce that the Hilbert scheme of certain arithmetically Buchsbaum schemes of codimension $2$ is birational to a Grassmannian.Comment: 21 page

ADHM construction of perverse instanton sheaves

We present a construction of framed torsion free instanton sheaves on a projective variety containing a fixed line which further generalizes the one on projective spaces. This is done by generalizing the so called ADHM variety. We show that the moduli space of such objects is a quasi projective variety, which is fine in the case of projective spaces. We also give an ADHM categorical description of perverse instanton sheaves in the general case, along with a hypercohomological characterization of these sheaves in the particular case of projective spaces.Comment: 33 page

ENSINO DE GEOGRAFIA E EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL MEDIADO PELO O USO DE TEXTUALIDADES IMAGÉTICAS (ORBITAIS) EXTRAÍDAS DO GOOGLE EARTH

Neste artigo são analisadas a relevância e potencialidades da sequência didática (SD) com foco específico na utilização de textualidades imagéticas do Google Earth e temática Educação Ambiental adotada em uma escola pública de Campo Grande (MS). O planejamento, construção e aplicação da SD tem caráter qualitativo, com delineamento empírico experimental. As imagens selecionadas mostram o lixão da cidade e a ocupação progressiva das áreas habitadas. Por meio delas, buscou-se identificar a aprendizagem com mudança conceitual e a superação de situações-limite dos estudantes no enfrentamento de problemas socioambientais encontrados em seu cotidiano. Dentre os resultados, foi possível constatar que a SD contribuiu não só para a construção e profusão dos conceitos geográficos, mas também se revelou como potencial ferramenta didático-pedagógica na Educação Ambiental

Are adverse effects of antiepileptic drugs different in symptomatic partial and idiopathic generalized epilepsies? the Portuguese-Brazilian validation of the Liverpool Adverse Events Profile

We report the results of administration of the Portuguese-Brazilian translation of the Liverpool Adverse Events Profile (LAEP) to 100 patients (mean age = 34.5, SD = 12.12; 56 females), 61 with symptomatic partial epilepsy (SPE) and 39 with idiopathic generalized epilepsy (ICE) (ILAE, 1989) who were on a stable antiepileptic drug (AED) regimen and being treated in a Brazilian tertiary epilepsy center. Carbamazepine was the most commonly used AED (43.0%), followed by valproic acid (32.0%). Two or more AEDs were used by 69.0% of patients. the mean LAEP score (19 questions) was 37.6 (SD = 13.35). the most common adverse effects were sleepiness (35.0%), memory problems (35.0%), and difficulty in concentrating (25.0%). Higher LAEP scores were associated with polytherapy with three or more AEDs (P=0.005), female gender (P0.001) and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (Depression: r = 0.637, P<0.001; Anxiety: r = 0.621, P<0.001) dimensions. LAEP overall scores were similar in people with SPE and IGE and were not helpful in differentiating adverse effects in these two groups. Clinical variables that influenced global LAEP were seizure frequency (P = 0.050) and generalized tonic-clonic seizures in the last month (P = 0.031) in the ICE group, and polytherapy with three or more AEDs (P = 0.003 and P = 0.003) in both ICE and SPE groups. Transferência de tecnologia no Brasil: como tudo começou, quais mudanças ocorreram nos modelos e como é compreendida nos dias atuais: Technology transfer in Brazil: how it all started, what changes occurred in the models, and how it is understood today

A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo descrever como foi desenvolvida a Transferência de Tecnologia (TT) no Brasil. Para isso, buscou-se identificar quando e como as articulações de Transferência de Tecnologia nacional começaram, assim como, estabelecer quais eram os modelos utilizados e como os mesmos foram modificados ao longo do tempo e definir como a TT é trabalhada hoje no Brasil. O trabalho de cunho exploratório buscou analisar e revisar as pesquisas publicadas entre os anos de 1970 e 2020, sobre uma abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa. Foi observado que ainda existem poucas pesquisas nacionais sobre transferência de tecnologia apesar das várias formas existentes. Até a década de 90 as discussões ainda eram tímidas e apenas nos anos 2000 é que houve uma ascensão do tema e TT começou a ser explanada nas diversas áreas industriais, governamentais e políticas. Hoje o país passa por um processo de criticidade sobre os caminhos percorridos em matéria de C,T&amp;I e sobre a necessidade do investimento em inovação nas áreas de competitividade visando o desenvolvimento socioeconômico brasileiro. Observações aprofundadas nos contratos de transferência de tecnologia revelaram que a utilização de mecanismos internacionais traz a dificuldade de adaptação e demora nos trâmites, e a alternativa brasileira foi justamente o posicionamento governamental para a criação do Marco Legal padronizando minutas e instrumentos jurídicos para as ICTs e organizações privadas
