Entrenador digital para convertidores en aplicaciones docentes

Este proyecto trata de diseñar y crear un convertidor estático de potencia capaz de controlar distintos accionamientos en aplicaciones docentes. Sería como tener varios convertidores en uno dependiendo de las conexiones. Primeramente se realiza una recopilación de información sobre las aplicaciones que el convertidor puede llegar a controlar, así como las topologías de cada tipo de convertidor. A continuación, se estudia todos los dispositivos electrónicos auxiliares como las fuentes de tensión que alimentan los drivers de disparo y los transductores de corrientes. También se detallan las características del rectificador trifásico. A partir de la disposición y estructura de los módulos de IGBT’s indicamos los esquemas característicos de cada convertidor, para poder ser implementados con éxito. Se diferencia cada convertidor respecto al tipo de motor que controlan. Estas conexiones permiten llevar a cabo cada una de las aplicaciones. Para poder diseñar el convertidor es importante conocer el funcionamiento exacto del circuito que se va a implementar. Se explica la función de cada elemento que pertenece al circuito. Gracias a saber realmente cual es el funcionamiento correcto del circuito se pueden detectar fallos de diseño con menos dificultad. Uno de los puntos más importantes a realizar en el presente proyecto es el del diseño de los circuitos impresos de control y de medida. Para realizar un diseño más competitivo se han empleado herramientas informáticas como es el programa especializado Altium Designer. Para ejecutar la impresión de los circuitos impresos se utiliza una fresadora automática que facilita la universidad. Con esta máquina la precisión es absoluta disminuyendo el porcentaje de aparición de un posible error no deseado. Una vez diseñado y creado el convertidor se dispone a hacer las pruebas pertinentes para validar el funcionamiento correcto de la aplicación. Este punto sin duda alguna tiene una gran importancia, es donde se refleja todo el trabajo realizado con anterioridad. El montaje efectuado es el de una fase del convertidor, debido a la falta de material no se ha podido montar el convertidor al completo. El trabajo en el laboratorio es muy diverso, se han realizado pruebas con cargas puramente resistivas, con un motor de corriente continua y con la fase de un motor de reluctancia autoconmutado. También se ha realizado un control del sistema mediante el DSP de dSPACE a tiempo real, a partir de Matlab. Todas las pruebas realizadas en el laboratorio se han estudiado y corroborado, con lo que podemos validar el buen funcionamiento del convertidor. En este proyecto también se ha hecho un presupuesto muy aproximado al coste total de la investigación. También se refleja las conclusiones obtenidas de esta experiencia. Por último se repasa la bibliografía utilizada para la ejecución de este proyecto

Prática pedagógica supervisionada

O presente relatório desenvolveu-se no âmbito da disciplina de Prática Pedagógica Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino de Línguas no 3º ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, especialização em Ensino de Português e Espanhol. Este trabalho tem como principal objectivo a análise, descrição e reflexão do percurso desenvolvido ao longo da leccionação e observação das práticas lectivas. O local de realização do trabalho foi na Escola Secundária de Pinheiro e Rosa, durante o ano lectivo 2009/2010, e teve como participantes três professores estagiários de Português e Espanhol, duas professoras orientadoras cooperantes da respectiva Escola e dois orientadores da Universidade do Algarve, um da disciplina de Português e outro da disciplina de Espanhol. Este Relatório divide-se em quatro partes: O capítulo I destina-se essencialmente à caracterização do professor estagiário, da escola e das turmas sobre as quais incidiu a Prática Pedagógica Supervisionada. No capítulo II são descritas, analisadas e reflectidas todas as sequências de aprendizagem elaboradas para as aulas de Português e de Espanhol. Neste, há também descrições de modos de actuar relacionados com as crenças, associadas a observações e vivências, enquanto professor estagiário. O capítulo III reflecte as crenças que o futuro professor tem acerca da profissão, do que é ensinar e do que é uma aula de língua. Neste capítulo é analisada a concepção que o professor estagiário tem do conceito de ‘professor como prático reflexivo’ e os aspectos que o mesmo considera pertinentes, e que contribuem e limitam o processo de formação de um professor. Os anexos que constituem este relatório correspondem a todos os materiais utilizados nas sequências de aprendizagem da Prática Pedagógica Supervisionada, às reflexões de observação de aulas dos colegas do núcleo e à planificação do ciclo de aprendizagem diferente daquele que foi leccionado pelo professor estagiário (3º ciclo). A elaboração das sequências de aprendizagem desenvolvidas nas práticas lectivas foi pensada sempre a partir de uma metodologia de ensino que defende a abordagem comunicativa e o ensino por tarefas

Upregulated proteasome subunits in COVID-19 patients: a link with hypoxemia, lymphopenia and inflammation

Severe COVID-19 disease leads to hypoxemia, inflammation and lymphopenia. Viral infection induces cellular stress and causes the activation of the innate immune response. The ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) is highly implicated in viral immune response regulation. The main function of the proteasome is protein degradation in its active form, which recognises and binds to ubiquitylated proteins. Some proteasome subunits have been reported to be upregulated under hypoxic and hyperinflammatory conditions. Here, we conducted a prospective cohort study of COVID-19 patients (n = 44) and age-and sex-matched controls (n = 20). In this study, we suggested that hypoxia could induce the overexpression of certain genes encoding for subunits from the α and β core of the 20S proteasome and from regulatory particles (19S and 11S) in COVID-19 patients. Furthermore, the gene expression of proteasome subunits was associated with lymphocyte count reduction and positively correlated with inflammatory molecular and clinical markers. Biopsychosocial and clinical characteristics in patients with resected breast and colon cancer at the beginning and end of adjuvant treatment

Background The aim of this study was to analyze biopsychosocial factors affecting how patients cope with cancer and adjuvant treatment and to appraise psychological distress, coping, perceived social support, quality of life and SDM before and after adjuvant treatment in breast cancer patients compared to colon cancer patients. Methods NEOcoping is a national, multicenter, cross-sectional, prospective study. The sample comprised 266 patients with colon cancer and 231 with breast cancer. The instruments used were the Brief Symptom Inventory (BSI), Mini-Mental Adjustment to Cancer (Mini-MAC), Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), Shared Decision-Making Questionnaire-Patient (SDM-Q-9) and Physician's (SDM-Q-Doc), and the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire (EORTC-QLQ). Results Breast cancer patients reacted worse to the diagnosis of cancer with more symptoms of anxiety, depression, and somatization, and were less satisfied with their involvement than those with colon cancer (p = 0.003). Participants with colon cancer were older and had more physical symptoms and functional limitations at the beginning of adjuvant treatment, while there were scarcely any differences between the two groups at the end of adjuvancy, at which time both groups suffered greater psychological and physical effects and scored lower on coping strategies, except for anxious preoccupation. Conclusions Breast cancer patients need more information and involvement of the oncologist in shared decision-making, as well as and more medical and psychological support when beginning adjuvant treatment. Both breast and colon cancer patients may require additional psychological care at the end of adjuvancy
