Physical education and sport in vocational universities

Este estudio aborda las características de la Educación Física y el deporte en las Universidades Laborales. Para ello, desde una perspectiva histórica, se han analizado diversas fuentes primarias (documentales, gráficas y jurídicas). Las conclusiones obtenidas señalan que, inicialmente, la Educación Física y el deporte fueron entendidos como instrumentos adoctrinadores al servicio del modelo social que trataba de ser impuesto por el Régimen. Sin embargo, esta orientación inicial rápidamente fue perdiendo vigor en favor de aspectos propiamente deportivos, que eran consecuencia directa de la política iniciada por Elola Olaso a nivel nacional. Labour Universities: Physical Education and the indoctrination of the working class

This paper explores the role of Physical Education in Labour Universities (1955-1978) during Franco's regime as an instrument of indoctrination and declassing of the working class. The conclusions obtained after the study and the analysis of various primary sources indicate that, initially, Physical Education was used as an instrument of indoctrination for the purposes of achieving the social and ideological model of Franco's regime after the Fascist uprising (1936-1939). However, this initial orientation became less relevant in the Sixties, in favour of the inherent aspects of sport, which contributed to the declassing of the young workers. In fact, Labour Universities became national benchmarks in the area of sports within the education system. LA ORIENTACIÓN FAMILIAR Y EL TRASTORNO POR DÉFICIT DE ATENCIÓN CON HIPERACTIVIDAD

Esta investigación me permitió identificar que la hiperactividad es un síndrome que se lo puede detectar a tiempo cuando se realiza un diagnóstico y un tratamiento a la persona que lo padece. Los seres humanos forman parte de un gran sistema familiar y las acciones que tome un miembro de esta podrán afectar positiva o negativamente. ¿Cómo incide la orientación familiar en el trastorno por déficit de atención con hiperactividad que presentan los niños? El objetivo de la presente investigación es orientar con directrices específicas a padres y docentes para solucionar la problemática presentada. El material que se aplicó durante la investigación fueron fichas de observación, entrevistas y encuestas. El método que utilicé corresponde al cualitativo, inductivo – deductivo. Los resultados nos permitirán evidenciar que este tipo de conductas afecta al desarrollo integral del niño. Se procedió a levantar un informe para emitirlo al Departamento de Consejería Estudiantil, para que sean ellos quienes procedan a tomar las medidas pertinentes junto con los representantes legales o padres de familia. Es necesario que se dé una detección temprana y una intervención eficaz, la problemática del niño hiperactivo podría resultar relativamente controlable. Posiblemente el retraso en el proceso de evaluación, diagnóstico y tratamiento favorece una evolución negativa del trastorno que podría incluir las siguientes situaciones: hiperactividad permanente, bajo cociente intelectual, alteraciones de conductas asociadas, falta de equilibrio mental de los padres y las relaciones escolares y familiares deficientes. FAMILY ORIENTATION AND ITS IMPACT ON ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER WITH HYPERACTIVITY IN CHILDREN AND GIRLS ABSTRACT This research allowed me to identify that hyperactivity is a syndrome that can be detected in time when a diagnosis and treatment is made to the person who suffers it. Human beings are part of a large family system and the actions taken by a member of this family can affect positively or negatively. How does family orientation affect attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children? The objective of this research is to guide parents and teachers with specific guidelines to solve the problems presented. The material that was applied during the investigation was observation cards, interviews and surveys. The method I used corresponds to the qualitative, inductive - deductive method. The results will allow us to show that this type of behavior affects the integral development of the child. A report was prepared to be issued to the Department of Student Counseling, so that they are the ones who proceed to take the pertinent measures together with the legal representatives or parents. It is necessary that there be an early detection and an effective intervention, the problematic of the hyperactive child could be relatively controllable. Possibly the delay in the process of evaluation, diagnosis and treatment favors a negative evolution of the disorder that could include the following situations: permanent hyperactivity, low IQ, alterations of associated behaviors, lack of mental balance of parents and school and family relationships deficient. Estudio gammagráfico y bioquímico del hígado en 1342 enfermos neoplásicos

La autora ha revisado 1768 gammagráficas hepáticas correspondientes a 1342 enfermos neoplásicos realizadas con gammográfos lineales con detectores de 3 y 5 pulgadas. Del estudio de los datos clínicos bioquímicos y de comprobación anátomo-patológica en los que ha sido posible ha llegado a una serie de conclusiones entre ellas: que la gammagráfica hepatica estudiadas y que las pruebas clínicas habituales para la detectación de metastásis hepáticas.- Dada la frecuencia de aparición de metástasis hepáticas en determinados tumores cree la autora que la grammagrafía se debe realizar en ellos sistemáticamente para su correcta clasificación por el sistema tnm

Exergy Optimization of a Moving Bed Heat Exchanger

The MBHE proposed can be analyzed as a crossflow heat exchanger where one of the phases is a moving granular medium. In the present work the exergy analysis of the MBHE is carried out over operation data of the exchanger obtained in two ways: a numerical simulation of the stationary problem and a simplified analysis. The numerical simulation is carried over the two steady state energy equations (fluid and solid), involving (for the fluid) the convection heat transfer to the solid and the diffusion term in the flow direction, and (for the solid) only the convection heat transfer to the fluid. The simplified analysis followed the well-known e-NTU method, taking the equipment as a crossflow heat exchanger with both fluids unmixed.Publicad

Roman mining at southwest of Iberian Peninsula

Se presenta en este trabajo un panorama general de la minería romana en el Suroeste Ibérico, en especial en la Faja Pirítica ibérica, un distrito minero que destacó en época alto-imperial por su producción de plata y cobre. Se caracteriza la naturaleza polimetálica de sus depósitos, y la ingeniería  minera y metalúrgica que permitió la extracción de sus minerales complejos. Los inmensos escoriales nos informan de los niveles de producción alcanzados, y el patrón de asentamiento romano del modelo de gestión de esta colonización minera, dependiente del tesoro imperial.In this paper we will produce an overview of the role of Roman mining in the Southwest Iberian Peninsula,  especially  in the Iberian  Pyrite  Belt, a mining  district  that was famous  during  the High Roman Empire Age for its production of silver and copper. We will describe the poly- metallic  nature of their  deposits  and the mining  and metallurgical  engineering  technique  that allowed for the extraction of their complex ores. The slags heaps become a telling source of information  about the production  levels achieved and the Roman settlement  pattern describes the management model for this mining colonization that was under the administration of the imperial  treasury

Microstructure and impedance spectroscopy of 3YTZP/SWNT ceramic nanocomposites

This work provides new insights on microstructure and electrical properties of 3 mol% Y2O3–ZrO2 (3YTZP) composites with 0.5, 1, and 1.5 vol% single walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs). The composites were spark plasma sintered (SPS) in identical conditions at 1250 °C from powder prepared by two different processing routines, with the aim of optimizing the SWNTs dispersion throughout the ceramic matrix. High densification and submicrometric grain size were achieved in all the composites. Electrical properties of the composites were characterized in a wide temperature range, and modeling of the impedance properties was approached by means of an equivalent circuit that allows separation of the individual SWNT bundles contribution to resistance from the resistance due to junctions between bundles. Effects of the homogeneous distribution of SWNTs at the ceramic grain boundaries on the crystalline phases, percolation threshold, total conductivity and evolution of junctions׳ resistivity with temperature were analyzed and discussed.España Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación MAT2012-34217Junta de Andalucia P12-FQM107
