    As cidades de hoje são caracterizadas por atravessar um processo de aprofundamento das desigualdades sócio-territoriais em função do avanço da materialização espacial do capital financeiro e da apropriação de territórios urbanos como estratégia de rentabilidade. Entretanto, diversos grupos sociais disputam os espaços que o capital captura por meio de estratégias coletivas de resistência e visibilidade de seas problemáticas, destacando a dimensão do “comum”, dado o exercício de sentidos coletivos, colaborativos e / ou comunitários. O objetivo deste artigo é analisar e interpretar a resistência dos moradores que produziram socialmente seus territórios a partir do comum diante de estratégias de expulsão derivadas de processos especulativos de negócios imobiliários, no quadro das particularidades que assume este processo desapropriação na região metropolitana de Córdoba (Argentina). Em particular, apresentamos uma análise sobre o caso do Barrio Parque Esperanza, que frente a um processo de despejo judicial em 2018, resistiu por 14 meses em um processo de resistência coletiva e negociação com o governo regional em direção à efetivação do direito à terra e moradia. A abordagem epistemológica resgata a ideia do diálogo de saberes proposto pelas epistemologias do Sul e descoloniais, pois interessa recuperar as experiências da perspectiva dos atores em seus próprios territórios, em busca de fornecer conhecimento para evidenciar uma situação específica da realidade social caracterizada por processos de fragilidade e, ao mesmo tempo, potencialidade para fertilizar a produção do habitat a partir do comum.Las ciudades actuales se caracterizan por atravesar un proceso de profundización de las desigualdades socioterritoriales en función del avance de la materialización espacial de los capitales financieros y la apropiación de los territorios urbanos como estrategia de rentabilidad. Sin embargo, colectivos sociales diversos disputan los espacios que el capital captura mediante estrategias colectivas de resistencia y visibilización de sus problemáticas, poniendo en relevancia la dimensión de “lo común”, dado el ejercicio sentidos de base colectiva, colaborativa o comunitaria. Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar e interpretar las resistencias de los pobladores que han producido socialmente sus territorios desde lo común frente a las estrategias de expulsión derivadas de procesos especulativos de la tierra y negocio inmobiliario, en el marco de las particularidades que asume este proceso de desposesión en la región metropolitana de Córdoba (Argentina). Particularmente, presentamos un análisis sobre el caso de Barrio Parque Esperanza, que frente a en un proceso de desalojo judicial de su territorio barrial en el año 2018, ha resistido durante 14 meses en un proceso de resistencia colectiva y negociación con el estado provincial hacia la efectivización del derecho a la tierra y vivienda. El acercamiento epistemológico recupera la idea del diálogo de saberes propuesto por las epistemologías del sur y decoloniales, pues interesa recuperar las experiencias desde la perspectiva de los actores en sus propios territorios, en busca de aportar conocimientos para evidenciar una situación específica de la realidad social caracterizada por procesos de fragilidad y a la vez, potencialidad para abonar a la producción del hábitat desde lo común.Cities today are going through a process that deepens socio-territorial inequalities based on the advance of the spatial materialization of financial capitals and the appropriation of urban territories as a profitability strategy. However, diverse social groups dispute the spaces that this capital captures through collective strategies of resistance and by raising awareness, highlighting the dimension of “the common”, giving the exercise of the collective, the collaborative and/or community-based senses. This article aims at analyzing and interpreting the resistance of the residents who have socially produced their territories from the common in the face of expulsion strategies derived from speculative real estate processes, within the framework of the particularities assumed by this dispossession process in the metropolitan region of Córdoba (Argentina). In particular, we present the analysis of the Barrio Parque Esperanza case, which when faced with a process of judicial eviction from its neighborhood in 2018, has stood its ground for 14 months in a process of collective resistance and negotiation with the provincial state towards making the right to land and housing effective. The epistemological approach recovers the idea of the dialogue of knowledge proposed by the southern and decolonial epistemologies, since it seeks to recover the experiences from the perspective of the players in their own territories, looking to contribute with knowledge to demonstrate a specific social reality situation characterized by processes of fragility and, at the same time, with potential to boost the production of the habitat from the common

    Chrysotile within calcite veins from Northern Apennines

    In the Northern Apennines several olistoliths made up of serpentinites, calpionelle limestones and ophiolitic breccias have been recognized within the Porcellara Complex, Monte Cassio Unit. These olistoliths are frequently crossed by a dense network of centimeter to decimeter veins generally filled by carbonate minerals (e.g. La Costa, Berceto, PR). Morphological and compositional data (SEM-EDS and XRPD) have revealed that these carbonate minerals consist mainly of well-formed, white to milky calcite crystals, strictly associated with chrysotile. This mineral is found as white thin fibers (< 1 micron), grew up in intimate association with calcite crystals. These fibers may be very rare and randomly scattered within the crystals of calcite, or can be grouped into bundles of millimeter to centimeter size. At times, the chrysotile can get to completely fill the vein. Chrysotile fibers are well-formed and euhedral at all scales from hand specimen to electron microscope images. In some cases, individual fibers of chrysotile are not visible in hand specimen or under the petrographic microscope; however, SEM images show the characteristic elongate crystal morphology. The fibers are also characteristically curved at the millimeter scale. It is important to note that the fibers of chrysotile appear, frequently, as a physical extension of calcite crystals, without any evident morphological discontinuity in the transition from a massive (calcite) to a fibrous (chrysotile) appearence. The results of detailed SEM-EDS elemental analyses carried out in various segments of the contact areas between calcite and chrysotile crystals seem to show a gradual transition in chemical composition from pure calcite to pure chrysotile phases, passing through various intermediate arrangements

    Rhodiola rosea L. extract and its active compound salidroside antagonized both induction and reinstatement of nicotine place prefrerence in mice

    Abstract RATIONALE: Conventional pharmacological treatments for drug addiction aim to reduce three most important aspects: withdrawal syndrome, craving, and relapse. Pharmacological treatments currently available for the treatment of tobacco smoking are able to alleviate withdrawal symptoms but are not sufficiently effective in reducing craving and rarely effective to prevent relapse. Rhodiola rosea L., a well-known traditional oriental medicine with anxiolytic, antidepressive, antistress, and adaptogenic properties, has been recently shown to be effective in the prevention and treatment of nicotine-withdrawal symptoms. OBJECTIVES: The present study used the conditioned place preference (CPP) model to systematically investigate, in mice, the effects of a R. rosea L. extract (RHO) and its active compound salidroside (SDS), on the reinforcing properties of nicotine and their efficacy in the vulnerability to reinstatement. METHODS: To study the effects on the rewarding properties of nicotine, RHO (10, 15, and 20 mg/kg) and SDS (0.2 mg/kg) were tested both in the acquisition and expression of CPP induced by nicotine injection (0.5 mg/kg). Moreover, the efficacy of RHO and SDS in preventing relapse induced by nicotine priming (0.1 mg/kg, s.c.) and by restraint stress was also evaluated. RESULTS: Results showed the ability of RHO and salidroside to significantly reduce the rewarding properties of nicotine at all doses tested. RHO and SDS also suppressed both priming- and stress-induced reinstatement of CPP. CONCLUSIONS: The present study showed the positive effects of R. rosea L. in reducing rewarding properties and preventing relapse to nicotine and evidenced the important role of salidroside in the effects of the extract

    Prismatic to asbestiform offretite from Northern Italy. Occurrence, morphology and crystal-chemistry of a new potentially hazardous zeolite

    A multi-methodological approach, based upon field investigation, morphological characterization, chemical analysis and structure refinement was applied to different samples of fibrous offretite, a new potentially hazardous zeolite recently discovered in northern Italy. Their morphology ranges from stocky-prismatic to asbestiform. All the investigated fibers may be considered as "inhalable", and they are well within the range of the "more carcinogenic fibers" regarding diameter. As regards the length, the main mode observed in the asbestiform samples is 20-25 mu m, and similar to 93% of the measured fibers are >5 mu m and may be significantly associated with carcinogenesis also in terms of lengths. The chemical-structural features of the investigated fibers are comparable: the extra-framework cations K+, Mg2+ and Ca2+ are present in all samples in similar proportions, and refined cell parameters are similar among the samples. Offretite occurs in 60% of the investigated sites, with an estimated amount up to 75 vol % of the associated minerals. The presence of this mineral could be of concern for risk to human health, especially if one considers the vast number of quarries and mining-related activities that are operating in the zeolite host rocks

Il lavoro ripropone il trattamento fiscale degli strumenti di soluzione concordata della crisi d'impresa, con particolare riferimento ad alcune componenti positive e negative, dall'introduzione degli stessi nel nostro ordinamento fino alle modifiche più recenti. Inoltre, in questa sede, ci si propone di esaminare l'istituto della transazione fiscale di cui all'art. 182-ter della legge fallimentare, anch'esso di recente introduzione, evidenziandone, in particolar modo, dubbi interpretativi e criticità di carattere applicativo

    Waste by-products from Olea europaea as a potential application in Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome

    The use of agri-food by-products represents an important resource in the nutraceutical field in a circular economy perspective oriented to the valorization of our territory products: among these, the olive tree (Olea europaea, Coratina cultivar in particular), is an excellent nutraceutical even though it derives from food waste. In this study we present a polyphenolic complex - derived from the mechanical filtration process of wastewater resulting from olive oil production - called MOMAST®. Based on the results obtained from the chemical composition analysis, we hypothesized a possible application of the phytocomplex as a food supplement in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) [1] [2]. After testing three different types of extracts (MOMAST Plus30, PW25, and HY100) on some IBS-related targets, we verified their antioxidant action and effects on spontaneous and induced intestinal contractility of ileum and colon [3, 4]. From the scientific evidence found, MOMAST® compounds have proved to be excellent candidates to become food supplements in the treatment of IBS [5]: in particular, Plus30 also showed an interesting action against some microorganisms due to its high concentration of polyphenols and oleuropein.     Effects of Brugmansia arborea Extract and Its Secondary Metabolites on Morphine Tolerance and Dependence in Mice

    The aim of the present study was to investigate, in vivo, the effect of a Brugmansia arborea extract (BRU), chromatographic fractions (FA and FNA), and isolated alkaloids on the expression and the acquisition of morphine tolerance and dependence. Substances were acutely (for expression) or repeatedly (for acquisition) administered in mice treated with morphine twice daily for 5 or 6 days, in order to make them tolerant or dependent. Morphine tolerance was assessed using the tail-flick test at 1st and 5th days. Morphine dependence was evaluated through the manifestation of withdrawal symptoms induced by naloxone injection at 6th day. Results showed that BRU significantly reduced the expression of morphine tolerance, while it was ineffective to modulate its acquisition. Chromatographic fractions and pure alkaloids failed to reduce morphine tolerance. Conversely BRU, FA, and pure alkaloids administrations significantly attenuated both development and expression of morphine dependence. These data suggest that Brugmansia arborea Lagerh might have human therapeutic potential for treatment of opioid addiction

    The main purpose of this review is to analyze published data concerning the antioxidant properties of astaxanthin, a xanthophyll, produced by the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis in response to specific conditions of “environmental stress” and characterized by its typical deep red color. Natural astaxanthin establishes effective protections against oxidative stress, neutralizing free radicals in both the inner and outer layer of cell membranes, especially in mitochondria.
