Comparative analysis of load profile between small-sided games and official matches in youth soccer players
Sólo el SSG4 presentó demandas similares a la competencia, encontrando diferencias entre los SSG (p 16 km/h), where low intensity accelerations, decelerations and impacts were predominant (1–2.5 m/s2; 5–7 G), and %HRMAX (maximum heart rate percentage) was between 70–90%. Only SSG4 presented similar demands to competition, finding differences between SSGs (p < 0.05; d = 1.40 − 0.36). In conclusion, the objective of the SSGs directly influenced the demands on the players in training sessions. For this reason, it is important to monitor demands for designing specific training sessions.• Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deportes. Beca FPU17/00407, para Carlos David Gómez Carmona

Design and Validation of an Instrument for Technical Performance Indicators of the Kick (Chagi) Technique in Taekwondo.
Taekwondo is a martial art and combat sport that originated in medieval or similar cultures, but today it is primarily a combat activity conditioned by safety rules. The kick technique is called “chagi” (Korean language). “Eyeballing” is a problem that is being addressed with traditional training methods used in Taekwondo. (1) Background: To solve this problem, the main aim of this study was to develop an Observation System for Technical Performance Indicators-Chagi (OSTPI-C). The validation and reliability processes were carried out by 19 expert judges, who were required to meet at least four out of the five selected inclusion criteria. (2) Methods: The content validity was calculated using Aiken’s V coefficient value on qualitative (relevance, univocity, and importance) and quantitative levels (rating scale from one to five), through the agreement and consensus of the panel experts. The reliability of the instrument was analyzed using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. (3) Results: The results demonstrated the high content validity indexes (0.90) and high reliability (alpha > 0.70) of the observational instrument. (4) Conclusions: The OSTIP-C observational instrument could be used in the Olympic and Paralympic Taekwondo sport environment as a valid and reliable tool to evaluate the technical execution of kick technical processes.post-print670 K

Analysis of the training tasks of a professional basketball team
The design and development of tasks in professional basketball
is of great importance, since the load to which the
players are subjected depends on it. Therefore, a systematic
control of the training tasks developed will allow the
coaching staff to know and evaluate their methodological
positioning, as well as to identify those tasks that are developed
with greater assiduity. The aim of the present study
is to analyse the tasks developed by a coach of a Spanish
basketball first league team, and to know the influence of
the Game Situation on the Pedagogical Variables, Organisational
Variables and Subjective External Load by means
of the Integrated Training Task Analysis System tool. A total
of 74 tasks were recorded, distributed over 10 training
sessions, with an average duration of 15.33 minutes per
task. Chi-square coefficient (X2) was used to identify the
association between variables. The results showed a significant
association between the Game Situation and the
different variables analysed (p<.05). The coaching staff
should adapt their methodology according to the type of
training to be developed, since a methodology focused
on directive models conditions the degree of participation,
as well as the motor commitment and physical demands
of the players. On the other hand, using individual
game situations or Small Sided Games in numerical equality
increases the load during the task, due to a higher intensity.
For this, the coach must reduce the playing space,
and carry out simultaneous participations
