    Strukture and Mossbauer spectroscopy studies of multiferroic mechanically activated aurivillius compounds

    X-ray di raction and 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy were applied as complementary methods to investigate the structure and hyper ne interactions of the Aurivillius compounds prepared by mechanical activation and subsequent heat treatment. Preliminary milling of precursors enhanced the di usion process and pure Aurivillius compounds were obtained at lower temperature as compared with conventional solid-state sintering technology (lower at least by 50 K). All the investigated Aurivillius compounds are paramagnetic materials at room temperature

    Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) merupakan perilaku sederhana namun dapat memberikan manfaat bagi pencegahan penyakit menular. Pendekatan RANAS (Risk, Atitude, Norms, ability dan self arrangement) merupakan model baru untuk promosi perubahan perilaku masyarkaat. Untuk memperkenalkan metode RANAS, dilakukan pelatihan secara daring (dalam jaringan). Tujuannya meningkatkan pemahaman perserta latih tentang strategi perubahan perilaku dengan pendekatan RANAS. Sasaran pelatihan adalah sanitarian dan promotor kesehatan kabupaten maupun puskesmas di Kabuaten Belu dan TTU. Hasil evaluasi pelatihan menunjukkan pemahaman meningkat setelah dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan secara daring.     FAKOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PERILAKU PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF PADA BAYI USIA 6-24 BULAN DI PUSKESMAS CAMPLONG KABUPATEN KUPANG

    Pemberian ASI eksklusif selama 6 bulan dapat menurunkan morbiditas dan mortalitas bayi, mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan bayi, meningkatkan kecerdasan anak, dan dapat melindungi bayi dari berbagai penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Perilaku Pemberian ASI Eksklusif Pada Bayi Usia 6-24 Bulan Di Puskesmas Camplong Kabupaten Kupang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan analitik korelasi dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Jumlah responden 115 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan diaalisis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian  menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pekerjaan dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif (ρ value = 0,020), sikap dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif (ρ value = 0,005), dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif (ρ value = 0,009), dukungan petugas kesehatan dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif (ρ value = 0,013), jarak ke Puskesmas dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif (ρ value = 0,033) dan tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif (ρ value = 0,064). Dari penelitian ini diharapkan kepada petugas kesehatan untuk meningkatkan strategi promosi kesehatan mengenai pentingnya ASI eksklusif, bagi ibu dan keluarga. Kata Kunci : ASI Eksklusif, Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi, Perilaku Ibu.Exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months can reduce infant morbidity and mortality, optimize infant growth, increase children's intelligence, and can protect babies from various diseases. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding in infants aged 6-24 months at the Camplong Community Health Center, Kupang Regency. The research design used correlation analytic with cross sectional research design. The number of respondents was 115 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the chi square test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between work and exclusive breastfeeding behavior (ρ value = 0.020), attitudes with exclusive breastfeeding behavior (ρ value = 0.005), family support with exclusive breastfeeding behavior (ρ value = 0.009), support health workers with exclusive breastfeeding behavior (ρ value = 0.013), distance to Puskesmas with exclusive breastfeeding behavior (ρ value = 0.033) and there is no relationship between knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding behavior (ρ value = 0.064).     Taking the pulse of Earth's tropical forests using networks of highly distributed plots

    Tropical forests are the most diverse and productive ecosystems on Earth. While better understanding of these forests is critical for our collective future, until quite recently efforts to measure and monitor them have been largely disconnected. Networking is essential to discover the answers to questions that transcend borders and the horizons of funding agencies. Here we show how a global community is responding to the challenges of tropical ecosystem research with diverse teams measuring forests tree-by-tree in thousands of long-term plots. We review the major scientific discoveries of this work and show how this process is changing tropical forest science. Our core approach involves linking long-term grassroots initiatives with standardized protocols and data management to generate robust scaled-up results. By connecting tropical researchers and elevating their status, our Social Research Network model recognises the key role of the data originator in scientific discovery. Conceived in 1999 with RAINFOR (South America), our permanent plot networks have been adapted to Africa (AfriTRON) and Southeast Asia (T-FORCES) and widely emulated worldwide. Now these multiple initiatives are integrated via ForestPlots.net cyber-infrastructure, linking colleagues from 54 countries across 24 plot networks. Collectively these are transforming understanding of tropical forests and their biospheric role. Together we have discovered how, where and why forest carbon and biodiversity are responding to climate change, and how they feedback on it. This long-term pan-tropical collaboration has revealed a large long-term carbon sink and its trends, as well as making clear which drivers are most important, which forest processes are affected, where they are changing, what the lags are, and the likely future responses of tropical forests as the climate continues to change. By leveraging a remarkably old technology, plot networks are sparking a very modern revolution in tropical forest science.     Cost-volume-profit analysis is often simply described as a break even analysis. However, companiesshould also be aware that break even analysis is a key of cost-volume-profit analysis. Researchers chosePabrik Tahu Pink Jaya in Oebufu Kupang as the research location. Researchers got information aboutproblems in location was the production process. The owner doesn't count all the costs of production insetting the cost of goods sold so that profit could not reach target. The objectives of the research are (a)to find out how many units should be sold at the break even point level; (b) to find out how manyrupiahs are at the break even point level; and (c) to find out how many units must be sold to reach theprofit target. Based on the results of research, conclusions consist of (a) the number of units sold out atthe break even point level is 21,185 boards; (b) the amount of rupiah at the break even point level is Rp.794,448,433, -; and (c) the number of units sold out to achieve the profit target were 17,980 boards withsales of Rp. 674,250,000, - Keywords: Cost-Volume-Profit Analysis, and Profit Plannin

    Structure properties of AlSi7Mg/SiC composite produced by stir casting method

    The paper presents the structure studies on composites of aluminum alloy matrix with addition of silicon carbide phase (from 5 to 15 vol.% SiC and 10 vol.% SiC + 10 vol.% graphite) obtained by the stir casting method. The aim of this work is to determine the influence of the SiC content and electrical discharge machining processes on the phase composition, microstructure, and values of residual stresses. In order to determine the heterogeneity of the obtained materials, the X-ray diffraction analysis was performed in different sample orientations to the direction of the X-ray beam (perpendicular and parallel), using different geometries (the Bragg-Brentano and grazing incident X-ray diffraction). This work presents the results of the residual stress analysis in the tested composites generated by various content of SiC additives. Residual stresses were determined by both of the ın²ψ and g-ın²ψ X-ray methods. Obtained results shown the significant gradient of residual stress in all cases

    CuCr₂Te₄ can be obtain by mechanical alloying followed by heat treatment. The obtained phase crystallizes in the spinel-type structure of the space group Fd3m. The calculated crystallite size equals to 100 nm. Magnetic susceptibility measurements showed ferrimagnetic order below 21 K
