    The impact of the kinematic parameters of bounce and pitch motions of sprung mass on wheeled vehicles handling

    The impact of the kinematic parameters of bounce and pitch motions of wheeled vehicles’ (WVs’) sprung mass (SM) with non-linear power characteristics of the cushion system on vehicles handling is studied. The dependence of the critical value of the dynamic steering angle of directive wheels on the amplitude of bounce and pitch motions and the kinematic parameters of motion is developed. It is proven that the limit value of the dynamic steering angle of directive wheels is reduced during acceleration, and vice versa (it increases during braking, while the bounce and pitch motions are significantly reduced)

    Based on the power-saving technologies, the design of an installation for coiling elliptical screw workpieces is worked out. Theoretical dependences for determining power and structural parameters of coiling a screw profile workpiece (SPW) on the elliptical mandrel are developed with consideration of the material grade specification and the parameters of technological equipment. The dependences of the moment value of SPW bending to the elliptical mandrel on its rotation angle, thickness and width are defined. The challenge is to develop the progressive methods of manufacturing augers and their sub-type - L-shaped auger spirals (LSAS) with high precision geometrical dimensions Computer simulation of the tape workpiece winding process on ellipse mandrel with initial conditions, displacements, deformations and stresses that arising in the material of tape workpice after applying the simulated efforts to it, was shown. Given simulation showed ranges where maximum stresses of tension and compression arising in material of tape workpiece, and made it possible to determine the minimum radius of curvature during winding, which is advisable to take at least 20 mm

    Organization of the Six-Cylinder Tractor Diesel Working Process

    The purpose of the work is the organization of the six-cylinder diesel engines (with a power of 116 and 156 kW) working process with exhaust gas recirculation. The following systems and components were used in the experimental configuration of the engine: Common Rail BOSСH accumulator fuel injection system with an injection pressure of 140 MPa equipped with electro-hydraulic injectors with 7-hole nozzle and a 500 mm3 hydraulic flow; direct fuel injection system with MOTORPAL fuel pump with a maximum injection pressure of 100 MPa, equipped with MOTORPAL and AZPI five-hole nozzle injectors; two combustion chambers with volumes of 55 and 56 cm3 and bowl diameters of 55 and 67.5 mm; cylinder heads providing a 3-4 swirl ratio for Common Rail system, 3.5-4.5 for mechanical injection system; recirculation rate was set by gas throttling before the turbine using original design rotary valve. The tests were conducted at characteristic points of the NRSC cycle: minimum idle speed 800 rpm, maximum torque speed 1600 rpm, rated power speed 2100 rpm. It is established: achievement of emission standards for the 116 kW diesel engine is possible with the use of direct-acting fuel equipment and a semi-open combustion chamber; on the 156 kW diesel - using the Low Cost type common Rail fuel supply system and an open combustion chamber

    From a position of structural and power theory of friction and wear, it is possible to apply the method of Contact Electrical Resistance (CER) for a complex research of the processes in a-zone of frictional contact. The purpose of this paper is to present a construction of friction node and drive mechanism of friction machine. As a result of the reported study the regularities of changes the CER and tribomechanical indices for non-metal friction couples in dependence on loading parameters and lubricating media were received. Also, the method of determination the range and level of normal wear and critical points of transmission to damage in accordance with kinetics of wear changes is proposed.     We have conducted a selection of diagnostic parameters to control technical condition of the gear box. Development of technical operation of transportation vehicles is aimed at examining and predicting a technical condition with the formation of a rational diagnostic base being a key direction.Solving the tasks in a given scientific-technical field was based on the theory of relative sensitivity. This involved a theoretically substantiated relationship between diagnostic parameters and the indicators of reliability for the assemblies of transportation vehicles based on their parametric dependence that we proposed. The implementation of theoretical research was conducted by determining a technical condition based on the express diagnosis of transmission oil in the gear box of the family of trucks KamAZ. We have performed express control and examined the working transmission oil for the following parameters: alkaline number, the content of mechanical impurities, dielectric permittivity. The dependences of their change on the run of transportation vehicles were obtained, as well as the corresponding criteria of sensitivity over different intervals of the run. We selected diagnostic parameters and formed a rational base using the criterion of relative sensitivity, establishing the run and the required diagnostic parameters. Control over diagnostical parameters of the gear box should be executed for the following indicators: the content of mechanical impurities in transmission oil – within intervals of 0…12 and 48…60 thousand km of the run; the dielectric permittivity of oil should be controlled within 48…60 thousand km of the run; the alkaline number of transmission oil should be controlled within 12…24 and 48…60 thousand km of the run of the examined transportation vehicles. Based on the compiled rational diagnostic base, it is possible to run an analysis and predict technical condition of the gear box, as well as establish supporting operations in technical operation.Проведено теоретическое и экспериментальное исследование контрольных параметров агрегата трансмиссии средств транспорта. Выявлено, что для адаптации их технической эксплуатации необходимо формировать диагностическую базу данных агрегата для дальнейшего анализа и управления. Определено, что критерий относительной чувствительности дает возможность, формировать диагностическую базу с последующим контролем и управлением техническим состоянием коробки переключения передачПроведено теоретичне та експериментальне дослідження контрольних параметрів агрегату трансмісії засобів транспорту.     Дослідження трибологічних властивостей спряжень матеріалів C61900 – A48-25BC1.25BNo.25 в композиційних оливах з геомодифікаторами

    With the development of dispersed systems in tribology, there emerged a possibility to use effectively functional additives to lubricants in the form of geomodifiers. When introducing composite oils with geomodifiers, it is not necessary to perform constructive changes in mated machine parts, however, their wear resistance and alignment increase. This requires experimental tribological research.It was proposed to use geomodifiers KGМF-1+oleic acids as a functional additive to motor oil, fresh oil Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40 and composite oil Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40+XADO HighWay for Diesel Truck (2.0...2.3 %) were chosen for comparison. An increase in friction momentum of different mated samples in the studied oils was recorded on the friction machine of 2070 СМТ-1 model with the additional module "ring – ring". Wear intensity in the samples in the studied oils was determined using the method of measuring the amplitude of the acoustic signal directly from the friction zone with the help of the device produced by Brüel&Kjear company.It was found that an increase in effectiveness of the oil compositions is observed in the following order: Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4, Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40, Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40+XADO HighWay for Diesel Truck, Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4+KGМF-1+oleic acid. The indicator of wear of the metal samples in the medium of modified oil Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4+KGМF-1+oleic acid, in comparison with basic oil decreased by 11.5...14.3 %. The value of critical load increased by 17.2 % and welding load increased by 19.3 %, respectively. In turn, it was found that maximum intensity of wear of the sample when using modified oil Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4+KGМF-1+oleic acid decreased by 3.4...6.0 times.The obtained data are necessary for the formation of composite oils and substantiation of conditions of their further operation during the period of forced alignment of parts tribojunctionС развитием дисперсных систем в трибологии создалась возможность эффективно использовать функциональные добавки к смазочным материалам в виде геомодификаторов. При внедрении композиционных масел с геомодификаторами не нужно выполнять конструктивные изменения сопряжений деталей машин, но их износостойкость и прирабатываемость увеличивается. Это требует проведения экспериментальных трибологических исследований.Предложено использование геомодификатора КGМF-1 + олеиновой кислоты в качестве функциональной добавки к моторному маслу, а для сравнения выбрано свежее масло Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40 и композиционное масло Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40 + XADO HighWay for Diesel Truck (2,0...2,3 %).Уменьшение момента силы трения, различных сопряжений образцов, в исследуемых образцах масел фиксировали при использовании машины трения модели 2070 СМТ-1 с дополнительным модулем "кольцо-кольцо". Исследование интенсивности изнашивания образцов в исследуемых маслах проводили методом измерения амплитуды акустического сигнала непосредственно из зоны трения с помощью прибора фирмы Brüel & Kjear.Выявлено, что рост эффективности исследуемых смазочных композиций наблюдается в следующем порядке: Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4, Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40, Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40 + XADO HighWay for Diesel Truck, Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4 + КGМF-1 + олеиновая кислота. Показатель износа металлических образцов, при использовании модифицированного масла Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4 + КGМF-1 + олеиновая кислота, по сравнению с базовым маслом уменьшился на 11,5...14,3 %. Зато значение критической нагрузки увеличилось на 17,2%, а нагрузка сварки увеличилась на 19,3 %. соответственно. В свою очередь, зафиксировано, что максимальная интенсивность изнашивания металлических образцов при использовании модифицированного масла Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4 + КGМF-1 + олеиновая кислота уменьшилась в 3,4...6,0 раза.Данные исследования необходимы для обоснования дальнейшей эксплуатации и формирования композиционных масел для трибосопряжений в период их форсированного приработкиЗ розвитком дисперсних систем в трибології створилась можливість ефективно використовувати функціональні добавки до мастильних матеріалів у вигляді геомодифікаторів. При впровадженні композиційних олив з геомодифікаторами не потрібно виконувати конструктивні зміни спряжень деталей машин, але їх зносостійкість і припрацьовуваність збільшується. Це потребує проведення експериментальних трибологічних досліджень.Запропоновано використання геомодифікатора КGМF-1 + олеїнової кислоди в якості функціональної добавки до моторної оливи, а для порівняння обрано свіжу оливу Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40 та композиційну оливу Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40 + XADO HighWay for Diesel Truck (2,0...2,3 %). Зменшення моменту сили тертя різних спряжень зразків в досліджуваних оливах фіксували на машині тертя моделі 2070 СМТ-1 з додатковим модулем "кільце-кільце". Визначення інтенсивності зношування зразків в досліджуваних оливах проводили методом вимірювання амплітуди акустичного сигналу безпосередньо із зони тертя за допомогою приладу фірми Brüel & Kjear.Виявлено, що зростання ефективності мастильних композицій спостерігається у наступному порядку: Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4, Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40, Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W40 + XADO HighWay for Diesel Truck, Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4 + КGМF-1 + олеїнова кислота. Показник зносу металевих зразків, в середовищі модифікованої оливи Monnol TS-5 UHPD 10W4 + КGМF-1 + олеїнова кислота, у порівнянні з базової оливою зменшився на 11,5...14,3 %. Значення критичного навантаження збільшилось на 17,2 %, а навантаження зварювання збільшилось на 19,3 %. відповідно.
