    Syfte: Huvudsyftet med uppsatsen Àr att öka förstÄelsen av hÀstÀgaren som konsument. Vi har valt att belysa detta genom att titta pÄ beslutsprocessen för högengamangsprodukter och tjÀnster. Metod: TvÄ olika metoder har anvÀnts som grund till uppsatsen. Den ena metoden bestÄr av ett kvantitativt tillvÀgagÄngssÀtt genom ett elektroniskt frÄgeformulÀr utlagt pÄ internetsidor för hÀstÀgare. Den andra metoden utgörs av intervjuer med kunniga personer inom hÀstbranschen. Resultat: HÀstÀgaren som konsument pÄverkas av ett antal faktorer i sin beslutsprocess. Huvudsakliga sÀrdrag hos hÀstÀgaren kan sammanfattas med att de har hög tilltro till veterinÀren i ett klart övervÀgande antal situationer, de Àr aktiva i sitt informationssökande om hÀsten via internet och de Àr mycket engagerade i sin hÀsts skötsel och hÀlsa vilket ocksÄ yttrar sig i deras val av produkter och tjÀnster

    Concrete is a material with attributes that are difficult to replace. However, concrete and cement industries are responsible for as much as 5-8 % of the global emissions. Today, there are solutions to reduce emissions associated with the production of concrete and cement. How much are those possibilities used and what are the potential obstacles for extended use?The goal according to “FĂ€rdplan klimatneutralbetong” is to make the concrete and cement industry climate neutral to year 2045. How likely is that to happen? Has the “Cement crisis” and the readjusted concrete standard SS137003 effected the development? And if so, how?Our study is in some ways a follow-up study after a study from 2021. What are the changes to the industry since the last study? Both last years study and our study are part of the project Betcrete 2.0 run by Katarina Malaga and RISE. Betcrete 2.0 is a collaborative project where it is ensured that the implementation of the roadmaps for cement and concrete progresses.The study is done with both quantitative and qualitative methods. Through literature studies, we have acquired a theoretical basis which we then used to create a web-based questionnaire that was sent out to concrete manufacturers. We have interviewed some clients to get their views. In the results, we then compared our results with Strömbom's previous study from 2021. Furthermore, we have engaged in document analysis. Generally, about concrete, specifically about climate-improved concrete, the readjusted concrete standard and about Cementa and their work towards climate neutrality.We have limited ourselves to only collect data regarding concrete production for 2021 and the survey was distributed primarily to members of the association Svensk Betong.The results show that the proportion of climate-improved concrete produced on the market has increased since the previous measurement was performed. In addition, the number of higher levels of climate-enhanced concrete has increased. Both customers and manufacturers have expressed some concerns about Cementa's mining permission in Slite. If they do not continue, it will have major consequences for the industry. So far, companies have reacted differently to the cement crisis that has arisen. Some are accelerating the work on climate-improved concrete, to exclude as large a proportion of cement as possible. Others act instead passively, because it is believed that a stop in Slite contributes to the need for other cement to be used and thus new tests must take place anyway.Concrete manufacturers believe that it is the customers who must increase the proportion of climate-improved concrete in their orders in order to accelerate development. The customers, in their turn, believe that it is not only in their hand to bear the cost of choosing climate-improved concrete, but instead believe that “Boverket” must set higher requirements, and that there should be opportunities for financial incentives.The companies that have been involved in collaborative projects, where several actors gather to jointly oversee new solutions for construction, thinks it’s rewarding. They believe that through collaboration, goals were achieved that one does not believe only one actor can solve on their own. Finally, we see that increased collaboration, higher demands from politicians and customers, manufacturers continued environmental propulsion, the need of implementation of CCS at Cementa production site in Slite,the opportunity for financial incentives to accelerate development to reach climate-neutral concrete 2045.     Hur kÀnns det? : det taktila sinnets betydelse inom marknadsföring

    Problemformulering: Hur anvĂ€nder sig möbelföretag av kĂ€nselsinnet i sin marknadsföring? Syfte: VĂ„r avsikt var att undersöka om – och i sĂ„ fall hur - företagen i denna bransch anvĂ€nder sig av det taktila sinnet i varuhus, produkter och kataloger. Metod: Vi har anvĂ€nt oss av en abduktiv ansats av ett kvalitativ tillvĂ€gagĂ„ngssĂ€tt. Vi gjorde djupintervjuer med tre möbelföretagsrepresentanter. Referensram: Sinnesmarknadsföring Ă€r ett relativt nytt fenomen, men vi tror att det Ă€r nĂ„got som Ă€r hĂ€r för att stanna. IdĂ©n med sinnesmarknadsföring Ă€r att företag, genom att rikta sig till kundens alla fem sinnen, skapa en sinnesupplevelse för kunden. KĂ€nselsinnet Ă€r ett av de sinnen som företagen ska anvĂ€nda sig av för att skapa denna helhetsupplevelse. I vĂ„ra referensramar har vi Ă€ven tagit fasta pĂ„ teorier kring servicelandskap, produkt och katalog (direktreklam). Slutsats: Resultatet av denna studie visar att företagen tycker att kĂ€nselsinnet Ă€r ett viktigt medel för att nĂ„ kunderna. Trots att de intervjuade företagen uttrycker kĂ€nselsinnets stora betydelse för marknadsföringen har de inte utvecklat nĂ„gon specifik strategi för att anvĂ€nda sig av detta. VĂ„r slutsats Ă€r dĂ€rför att sinnesmarknadsföring, i synnerhet kĂ€nselsinnet, mĂ„ste utvecklas inom marknadsföringsteorin. Endast nĂ€r ett tydligt ramverk skapats kan sinnesmarknadsföringsteorier implementeras i praktiken.Presentation of the question: How do furniture stores and companies use the tactile sense in marketing? Purpose: Our purpose was to investigate if – and in that case how – the companies within this business use the tactile sense in warehouses, products and catalouges. Method: We used an abductive method in a qualitative mode of procedure. This was mainly done by in-depth interviews with three representatives of the chosen companies within the furniture business. Frame of reference: Sense-marketing is a rather new phenomenon, but it is something, we believe, that is here to stay. Sense-marketing is all about involving all of the human senses and engaging the customer. Regarding the tactile sense in marketing the idea is that customers should be able to touch and try the product. The tactile sense is one of the human senses that companies should use to create an extensive and total experience. In our frame of references we also used theories regarding servicescape, product and catalogue (direct marketing). Conclusion: The result of this report shows that these companies do believe that the tactile sense is of great importance in reaching the customers in a more effective way. Despite this fact none of the three companies had yet developed a specific strategy within their marketing. Our conclusion is therefore that the theories regarding sense-marketing, in particular the tactile sense, needs to progress and evolve. Only when there is a clear and basic framework can the theories be implemented in practise by marketers

    Hereditary evaluation and genetic counselling in young individuals with colorectal cancer in a population-based cohort

    Aim: Early-onset colorectal cancer should raise suspicions of a hereditary colorectal cancer (CRC) syndrome, including Lynch syndrome (LS) and Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP). Collection of family history and genetic counselling (GC) is mandatory but previous studies have revealed low awareness of hereditary CRC among clinicians why there has been an incentive to implement universal LS screening. In this population-based cohort study, we aimed to observe the uptake of GC in the Swedish South-Eastern medical care region for young CRC patients and to investigate the frequency of patients diagnosed with LS.&amp; nbsp;Methods: Patients below 50 years of age diagnosed with CRC between 2008 and 2017 were identified from the national Swedish Colorectal Cancer Registry. Medical records were reviewed regarding family history, co-morbidity and referral for GC, with a follow-up time of at least three years.&amp; nbsp;Results: The analysis included 278 patients with 287 tumours, 108 (38%) located in rectum and 179 (62%) in colon. One hundred sixteen (42%) individuals were referred to the Regional Clinical Genetics service, whereof 74 (27%) underwent complete investigation. Thirteen (18%) patients were identified with a mutation, eleven (15%) had LS and two (3%) FAP. The remaining 61 (82%), without proven mutation, were considered as familial CRC. Younger age correlated with a higher chance of referral for GC.&amp; nbsp;Conclusion: The study found that only a minority of young CRC patients underwent genetic counselling, contrary to clinical guidelines. Hereditary CRC is therefore probably underdiagnosed even among young individuals

    Physical, digital, and hybrid setups supporting card-based collaborative design ideation

    Physical tools and materials like pen, paper, sticky-notes, and whiteboards are commonly used in collaborative creative design processes, whereas digital tools play a more marginal role. But what are the benefits and drawbacks of physical, digital, and hybrid physical-digital setups when it comes to supporting collaborative ideation? To answer this question, we present a study and analysis of three different implementations of a well-established collaborative ideation technique called Inspiration Card Workshop, with physical, digital, and hybrid setups. Each setup is a controlled experiment with three different groups of designers. We analyse the setups in terms of how they support five key aspects of collaborative design. Based on our insights, we present implications for future use of digital tools to support card-based collaborative design ideation, in which we argue for a technically lightweight hybrid workflow setup that builds on well-proven physical and digital components.publishe

    Rare diseases are, despite their name, collectively common and millions of people are affected daily of conditions where treatment often is unavailable. Sulfatases are a large family of activating enzymes related to several of these diseases. Heritable genetic variations in sulfatases may lead to impaired activity and a reduced macromolecular breakdown within the lysosome, with several severe and lethal conditions as a consequence. While therapeutic options are scarce, treatment for some sulfatase deficiencies by recombinant enzyme replacement are available. However, such recombinant production of sulfatases suffers greatly from low product activity and yield, further limiting accessibility for patient groups. Here, we have addressed this problem by defining key-proteins necessary for active sulfatase secretion by comparison of CHO clones with different levels of production of active sulfatase. Quantitative transcriptomic analysis highlighted 14 key genes associated with sulfatase production, and experimental validation by co-expression improved the sulfatase enzyme activity by up to 150-fold. Furthermore, a correlation between product mRNA levels and sulfatase activity were observed and expression with lower activity promoters showed an increased in sulfatase activity. The workflow devised is general and we propose it to be useful for resolving bottlenecks in cellular machineries for improvement of cell factories for other biologics as well.QC 20210608</p
