    Prescriptive Methodology as a Generative Tool: A Case Study Conducted at Introductory Interior Design Studio Level in the United Arab Emirates

    In the U.A.E. (United Arab Emirates), interior design education is often misunderstood as interior decoration, wherein the former is a more comprehensive design approach to spaces formed by structural boundaries and curation of human interaction. The conducted case study addressed a small number of students enrolled in Interior Design Studio I at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi campus. In addition to traditional teaching methods compromised of individual desk critique sessions, group pin-ups and presentations, three innovative methods were implemented as a means of guiding students through the process: direct sequential instruction executed within an assigned time frame, reflection on the surfaced result and use of flat photography or panoramas as means of space communication. Throughout the three implemented stages of the project, and through utilizing the above-described generative methodology, students achieved complex representation and revealed higher spatial order related to human occupation and space inhabitation. This methodology allowed students to channel their work through complex sets of interconnected information and derived an outcome from an accumulative multi-layered resolution.     The Moderating Effect of Demographic Characteristics on Home Healthcare Robots Adoption: An Empirical Study

    The home healthcare initiative aims to reduce healthcare cost, improve post-hospitalization healthcare quality and increase patient independency. Information technologies such as home healthcare robots are expected to play a major role in this effort. There have been some preliminary findings on the socio-technical determinants of robot adoption in home healthcare. However, there is a lack of understanding of other factors that moderate the effects of these determinants. To this end, this research aims to investigate demographic characteristics as possible moderators for robot adoption based on the UTAUT model. By analyzing the data collected from a survey, this study empirically demonstrates the moderating effects of gender, age and experiences on the adoption of home healthcare robots. In addition, the findings of this research lead to the development of a decision tree that can guide a cost- effective robot design. The paper concludes with the theoretical and practical implications of this research

    Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memahami cashless dan cardless transaction sebagai perilaku bisnis baru industri 4.0 yang didukung dengan cashless society 5.0. Hingga saat ini kompetensi digital, demografi, dan inftrastruktur di Indonesia dalam menerapkan cashless dan cardless ekonomi belum optimal. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perkembangan perilaku transaksi cashles dan cardless di Indonesia dan kesiapan Indonesia menjadi cashless dan cardless country. Hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa perilaku cashless dan cardless transaction sudah berjalan, merupakan perilaku bisnis yang dapat memberi nilai tambah ekonomi dan menjadi alternatif solusi permasalahan perekonomian di Indonesia. Kesiapan Indonesia menjadi cashless dan cardless country masih memerlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak untuk megoptimalkan literasi finansial dan digital kompetensi masyarakat

    Pelatihan Tahsin Alquran Bagi Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dengan Metode Yanbu’a

    Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahasmenjelaskan dampak pelaksanaan pelatihan tahsin AlQuran dengan metode Yanbu’a bagi terhadap kompetensi bagi guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Ma’had An Nur. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengamati dan mewawancarai instruktur, peserta pelatihan, dan orang lain yang mengetahui pelaksanaan pelatihan tersebut. Wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian, dan dianalisis dengan model Sirkuler dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan tahsin Al Quran di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Ma’had An Nur dilaksanakan setiap hari jum’at pagi selama 90 menit. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab dan latihan. Langkah-langkah kegiatan pelatihan ini meliputi pembukaan, apersepsi, pengenalan konsep, peningkatan pemahaman (latihan), evaluasi, dan penutup. Hasil pelatihan tahsin Alquran dengan metode Yanbu’a telah meningkatkan semangat guru dalam belajar Al Quran dan meningkatkan kompetensi dan kinerja guru dalam membina bacaan dan hafalan siswa. Faktor pendukung pelatihan ini adalah usia guru yang telah matang, pelatih yang kompeten, dan perhatian dari pengasuh. Faktor penghambat pelatihan ini adalah: terbatasnya alokasi waktu, tempat pelatihan yang kurang kondusif, dan ketidakhadiran tutor.Kata Kunci: Pelatihan Guru, Tahsin Alquran, Metode Yanbu’aAbstract: This study aims to discuss and explain the impact of implementing Al-Quran tahsin training with the Yanbu'a method for the competence of teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Ma'had An-Nur. This research method is carried out by observing and interviewing instructors, trainees, and other people who know the implementation of the training. Interviews and documentation were used to collect research data and were analyzed using a circular model and source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the Qur'an tahsin training activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Ma'had An-Nur are carried out every Friday morning for 90 minutes. The learning methods used are lectures, questions and answers, and exercises. The steps of this training activity include opening, apperception, concept introduction, increasing understanding (practice), evaluation, and closing. The results of tahsin the Koran with the Yanbu'a method have increased the enthusiasm of teachers in learning the Koran and increased teacher competence and performance in fostering student reading and memorization. Supporting factors for this training are the age of mature teachers, competent trainers, and attention from caregivers. The inhibiting factors for this training were: limited time, less conducive training venues, and the absence of tutors

    Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk mendiskripsikan karakter cinta tanah air dalam film “Hati Merdeka” sebagai media pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Latar belakang penelitian yaitu karakter cinta tanah air dapat diperoleh melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dengan menggunakan media seperti film, karena dalam film mengandung berbagai moral yang dapat diambil nilai positifnya dan informasi untuk mempermudah belajar yang disampaikan guru pada siswanya. Pesan moral yang diambil dalam film ini mengenai karakter cinta tanah air. Cinta tanah air merupakan suatu kasih sayang dan dan suatu rasa cinta terhadap tempat kelahiran atau tanah airnya. . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kulaitatif. Metode yang di gunakan adalah analisis isi deskriptif. Melalui deskripsi adeganadegan dalam film “Hati Merdeka” yang terdapat karakter cinta tanah air. Hasil penelitian ini adalah karakter cinta tanah air dalam film “Hati Merdeka” sebagai media pembelajaran dan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 5 indikator yang menunjukkan cinta tanah air meliputi peduli terhadap nama baik bangsa dan negara, merasa bangga sebagai orang yang bertanah air Indonesia, bersedia membela tanah air untuk kejayaan bangsa, dapat menyimpan rahasia negara, mau hidup dimanapun diwilayah Negara kesatuan Indonesia

    The objectives of this study are: To analyze Financial Ratios to assess the performance of PDAM Tirta Waesai, Barru Regency. This study discusses Liquidity Ratio Analysis and Profitability. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research that aims to find factual information. The object used in this study is the financial report in the form of a Balance Sheet and Loss Report of PDAM Tirta Waesai Kab Barru for the period 2016 to 2020. The data analysis method used is Time Series financial performance analysis. The results of the study seen from the liquidity ratio based on the current ratio, it can be said that PDAM Tirta Waesai has a good ability to pay off its debts. If viewed from the profitability ratio based on ROI, PDAM Tirta Waesai is still in a net loss condition

    The effect of vermicompost on growth of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.)

    Shallots have long been cultivated by farmers intensively because shallots have a high economic value, so they become a source of income for farmers. Shallots are annual plants belonging to monocotyledonous plants that have multi-layered tubers formed from layers of leaves that enlarge and unite with cylindrical leaves. The soil fertility level influences shallots' growth, development, and production, requiring additional fertilizers. One of the good fertilizers used is vermicompost. Vermicompost is an organic fertilizer containing microbes and elements required for plant growth. This study aims to determine vermicompost's effect on shallot growth (Allium ascalonicum L.). This study used a completely randomized design with ten replications. The treatment levels consisted of P0 = 0 grams of vermicompost per 1 kg of soil, P1 = 40 grams of vermicompost per 1 kg, P2 = 80 grams of vermicompost per 1 kg of soil, and P3 = 120 grams of vermicompost per 1 kg of soil. Parameters observed were the number of leaves, number of tubers, plant height, wet weight, dry weight, and chlorophyll content of shallot. The research data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan's Multiple Range Test at the 5% level. The results showed that the addition of vermicompost had a significant effect on the number of leaves and chlorophyll content of the shallot but had no significant impact on the number of bulbs, plant height, wet weight, and dry weight of the shallot
