RELATIVISTIC-DFT STUDY OF THE ELECTRONIC STRUCTURE, BONDING AND ENERGETIC OF THE [ReF8]־ AND [UF8]2- IONS

Indexación: Web of Science; Scielo.In this study we evaluated the importance of the relativistic effects (scalar and spin-orbit) on the description of the electronic structure, bonding and the energetic of the [ReF8]- and [UF8]2- ions. We described the bonding interaction between ligands and metal center using the energy decomposition analysis (EDA) proposed by Morokuma and Ziegler, in which it can be appreciated a strong ionic behavior for both ions since the electrostatic interaction energy (∆Ezlestat) is greater than the orbitalic interaction energy (∆EOrb). Furthermore, a qualitative analysis using the mapping of the electrostatic potential over the total electronic density evidence an increase of the ionic character, as well as, the polarization of the electronic density as U > Re. The electron localization function (ELF) corroborates the bonding analysis because of the lack of di-synaptic basins on the metal-ligand bonding region.http://ref.scielo.org/jcbd4

Validity evidence of the organizational justice scale in Spain

Antecedentes: el interés por la medición de la percepción de justicia organizacional ha aumentado en los últimos años debido a su demostrada relación con resultados organizacionales significativos, como el bienestar y el agotamiento emocional. En España, se puede destacar la Escala de Justicia Organizacional (OJS) como un instrumento que ha mostrado buenas propiedades psicométricas en estudios previos en el sector hotelero. Este estudio complementa la evidencia de las características de la OJS utilizando una amplia muestra multisectorial. Método: los participantes fueron 849 empleados de diferentes sectores ocupacionales. La estructura de la OJS se estudió mediante análisis factorial exploratorio y confirmatorio dividiendo la muestra en dos submuestras aleatorias. Además, se analizó la fiabilidad y validez de cada dimensión. Resultados: los resultados indicaron que la escala está constituida por tres factores (distributiva, procedimental y en la interacción), con una fiabilidad y validez adecuadas. Por otra parte, como era de esperar, se encontraron correlaciones positivas entre la percepción de justicia organizacional y el bienestar, y negativas con el agotamiento emocional. Conclusiones: la OJS es una herramienta adecuada para su uso por parte de académicos y profesionales en el estudio de la percepción de justicia organizacional en España, garantizando una validez y fiabilidad adecuadas.Universidad de Oviedo. La respuesta de la Villa y Corte de Madrid en el siglo XVIII ante la muerte del rey. Evolución de los códigos simbólicos de las Exequias Reales: Emblemas y alegorías

During the 18th century, after the arrival of the Bourbons, Madrid started being the most important centre where the Spanish Royal Obsequies were celebrated. In the current research about these acts, we focus on the political propaganda and the similarities and differences between the Court and Villa of Madrid. In this sense, the Court used these celebrations to legitimate the new dynasty, meanwhile the Villa looked for showing, in these acts, its splendour and its support for House of Bourbon.En el siglo XVIII, y tras la centralización sufrida con los Borbones, Madrid se pondrá a la cabeza en la consecución de las Exequias Reales, actos propagandísticos que aprovechaban el fallecimiento del monarca para mostrar la magnificencia del poder. En el presente análisis de las Honras nos hemos centrado en las semejanzas y dicotomías de los intereses propagandísticos y laudatorios de las celebraciones conmemoradas en la Villa y Corte de Madrid. Si la Corte utilizó estos actos como método de legitimación de la nueva casa reinante instaurada con Felipe V, la Villa buscó, en la conmemoración de estas honras, mostrar su magnificencia y su adhesión a la dinastía borbónica

El reconocimiento de la hidalguía durante el siglo XVIII: su reformulación como calidad civil y política

Throughout The Modern Age the hidalguía suffered a serious conceptual evolution. At the end of the Ancien Régime the loss of the medieval features and its conversion to a legal reality regulated by the State were one of the most prominent characteristics. In this research we analyze the transformational factors of the nobility in a legal statute closely regulated which was at the service of the absolutist monarchy. In order to analyze it we have chosen processes of hidalguía initiated in the Royal Chancelleries as the core idea of the research, demonstrating that, their utility was not only as instruments used to supervise the access to nobility, but, what is more, they are a form of the new identity adopted by the Bourbon nobility; the subordinate state which depends on the crown.A lo largo de la Edad Moderna la hidalguía experimentaría una significativa evolución conceptual. A finales del Antiguo Régimen, la pérdida de sus rasgos medievales y su conversión en una realidad jurídica regulada por el Estado serían algunas de sus características más destacadas. En este trabajo analizaremos los factores de la transformación de la hidalguía en un estatuto jurídico estrechamente fiscalizado y al servicio de la monarquía absolutista. Para ello, hemos elegido como eje de la investigación los procesos de hidalguía incoados ante las Reales Chancillerías que, como aquí demostraremos, no solo sirvieron como instrumentos para supervisar el acceso a la hidalguía sino que además son una plasmación de la nueva identidad adoptada por la nobleza borbónica: la de un estamento subordinado y dependiente de la Corona

Mechanisms for photon sorting based on slit-groove arrays

Mechanisms for one-dimensional photon sorting are theoretically studied in the framework of a couple mode method. The considered system is a nanopatterned structure composed of two different pixels drilled on the surface of a thin gold layer. Each pixel consists of a slit-groove array designed to squeeze a large fraction of the incident light into the central slit. The Double-Pixel is optimized to resolve two different frequencies in the near infrared. This system shows a high transmission efficiency and a small crosstalk. Its response is found to strongly depend on the effective area shared by overlapping pixels. Three different regimes for the process of photon sorting are identified and the main physical trends underneath in such regimes are unveiled. Optimal efficiencies for the photon sorting are obtained for a moderate number of grooves that overlap with grooves of the neighbor pixel. Results could be applied to optical and infrared detectors.Comment: 12 pages, 4 figure

The society of «Villa and Court»: hidalgos in Madrid during the reign of Charles IV

A finales del Antiguo Régimen el desarrollo de Madrid como centro político y económico atrajo a una multitud de inmigrantes de todos los rincones del mundo hispánico. Algunos de ellos se establecieron y buscaron alcanzar el reconocimiento social en su comunidad. El recibimiento como hidalgos en el ayuntamiento madrileño fue una de las estrategias desarrolladas para obtener un estatus. El estudio de los procesos de hidalguía promovidos con este fin proporciona abundante información sobre estas personas: orígenes geográficos y familiares, ocupación o domicilio son cuestiones fundamentales para conocer el perfil de esta nueva nobleza en ascenso.At the end of the Former Regime the development of Madrid like political and economic center attracted a great amount of immigrants from every corner of the Hispanic world.
