Las nuevas tecnologías e Internet no solo han cambiado la manera en que nos comunicamos y nos relacionamos. También ha cambiado la forma en que nuestros niños y jóvenes aprenden. Por ello, los docentes de hoy en día deben conocer y comenzar a aplicar nuevas metodologías encaminadas a romper la brecha existente entre el alumnado y el método tradicional de enseñanza, basado en el libro de texto. Implicancias penales del lavado de activos en Ecuador.

Money laundering is the process of concealing or disguising the illicit origin of income obtained from illegal activities, a crime generally carried out through the use of offshore bank accounts, investments in assets such as property, luxury vehicles, and the payment of services with cash. This crime constitutes a threat to a country's economy and financial stability. The objective of the research was to analyze the criminal implications of money laundering in Ecuador, with the purpose of establishing proposals to promote the prevention and eradication of this crime. The research had a descriptive scope, the design of the study was non-experimental, since there was no manipulation of variables, the qualitative approach was applied, in addition a bibliographic review of all written sources dealing with the subject of study was carried out, for the analysis of the results the inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic method was applied. The crime of money laundering is a worldwide problem, and one of the most relevant aspects is that this illicit act is related to other crimes such as drug trafficking, terrorism, corruption and human trafficking. The consequences of money laundering impact not only society, but also the functioning of the State itself at national and international level; one of the ways to contribute to the fight against this crime is to report to the corresponding authorities any suspicious activity or where the configuration of the illicit act is presumed.El lavado de activos consiste en el proceso de ocultar o disfrazar el origen ilícito de los ingresos obtenidos de actividades ilegales, éste es un delito generalmente llevado a cabo mediante el uso de cuentas bancarias en el extranjero, inversiones en activos como propiedades, vehículos de lujo, y el pago de servicios con efectivo. Este delito constituye una amenaza para la economía y la estabilidad financiera de un país. La investigación se planteó como objetivo analizar las implicancias penales del lavado de activos en Ecuador, con el propósito de establecer propuestas para promover la prevención y erradicación de este delito. La investigación tuvo un alcance descriptivo, el diseño del estudio fue no experimental, por cuanto no hubo manipulación de variables, se aplicó el enfoque cualitativo, además se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de todas las fuentes escritas que tratan el tema de estudio, para el análisis de los resultados se aplicaron el método inductivo, deductivo, analítico y sintético. El delito de lavado de activos, es un problema a nivel mundial, uno de los aspectos más relevantes es que este hecho ilícito estará relacionado con otros delitos como el narcotráfico, terrorismo, la corrupción, y la trata de personas. Las consecuencias del lavado de activo impactan no sólo a la sociedad, sino también, al funcionamiento propio del Estado a nivel nacional e internacional; una de las formas de contribuir a la lucha contra este delito, es reportar a las autoridades correspondientes cualquier actividad sospechosa o donde se presuma la configuración del hecho ilícito

Actitudes Sobre la Igualdad de Género en Estudiantes Universitarios

La presente investigación tuvo como propósito identificar y comparar las actitudes sobre la igualdad de género que poseen los estudiantes universitarios hombres y mujeres de la Universidad Católica de Santa María, para lo cual se utilizó el Cuestionario de Actitudes hacia la Igualdad de Género - CAIG, de De Sola y otros (2003) que considera seis factores, relacionados con la orientación sexual, con el simbolismo religioso, con los valores y estructura de la pareja, con el ámbito de lo privado o doméstico, con el ámbito de lo público o laboral y con el ámbito de la sexualidad y libertad personal. El instrumento se aplicó a 429 estudiantes pertenecientes al Segundo Semestre Par – 2018 de las Escuelas Profesionales de Obstetricia, Derecho, Administración de Empresas e Ingeniería Mecánica, dentro de los cuales se aplicó el cuestionario a 218 hombres y 211 mujeres. Los resultados encontrados evidenciaron que las estudiantes mujeres tienen actitudes más favorables sobre la igualdad de género en comparación a los estudiantes hombres. Motivos para el consumo de alcohol en adolescentes de Chilpancingo Guerrero, México

El consumo de alcohol entre los adolescentes representa un problema de salud pública que conlleva a consecuencias adversas para la salud de la persona que lo consume, la familia y la sociedad. El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la relación de los motivos para el consumo de alcohol y el consumo de alcohol en adolescentes en 356 adolescentes del Estado de Guerrero, México a través de un estudio descriptivo correlacional. Se identificó que el 67.9% de los adolescentes han consumido alcohol alguna vez en la vida, 44.7% en el último año y el 22.7% en el último mes. La edad inicio del consumo de alcohol fue a los 14.4 años y los adolescentes consumen 2.6 bebidas alcohólicas en una sola ocasión. Se identificó que los principales motivos para el consumo de alcohol están relacionados con aspectos sociales ( = 8.7) y para el manejo de problemas emocionales ( = 7.6) del adolescente. Además los resultados muestran una relación positiva y significativa entre los motivos para el consumo de alcohol y la cantidad del bebidas alcohólicas consumidas en un día típico (r s = .184, p= .018). Estos hallazgos exponen la magnitud del consumo de alcohol en los adolescentes, así como las motivaciones para el consumo de alcohol, los cuales servirán de base para que los programas de atención a la salud a los adolescentes puedan reorientar sus acciones y poder influir en la modificación de las conductas de riesgo de los adolescentesThe use of alcohol among teenagers represents a public health problem that leads to a series of negative health consequences for consumers, their families and society. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between the causes of alcohol consumption and alcohol consumption in teenagers, covering 356 teenagers from Estado de Guerrero, Mexico, through a correlational descriptive study. It was identified that 67.9% of teenagers have consumed alcohol at least once in their lives, 47.7% in the past year and 22.7% in the last month. The onset age of alcohol consumption was at 14.4 years old and teenagers consume 2.6 alcohol beverages on a single occasion. It was identified that the main reasons for the use of alcohol in teenagers are related with social aspects ( = 8.7) and for handling emotional problems ( = 7.6). In addition, the results show a positive and significant relationship between the reasons for alcohol consumption and the amount of alcoholic beverages on a typical day. (rs= .184, p= .018). These findings set forth the scale of the use of alcohol among teenagers, as well as the reasons for alcohol consumption, which will serve as a starting point to help programs for teenagers' health care to redirect their action in order to influence and modify risk behaviors in teenagers

e-Estesia: A Serious Game for Reducing Arousal, Improving Emotional Regulation and Increasing Wellbeing in Individuals with Gambling Disorder

Gambling disorder (GD) is associated with deficits in emotion regulation and impulsivity-related personality traits. In recent years there has been an increase in the use of serious games (SG) to address these factors with positive results. The aim of this study was to analyze the efficacy of the intervention with a new SG (e-Estesia), as an adjunct to a CBT intervention for GD. The sample comprised two groups (experimental group (n = 40) and control group (n = 64)) of patients with GD diagnosis. Both groups received 16 weekly CBT sessions and, concurrently, only the experimental group received 15 additional sessions with e-Estesia. Pre-post treatment with e-Estesia administered in both groups were: DSM-5 Criteria, South Oaks Gambling Screen, Symptom Checklist-Revised and measure of relapses, dropout and compliance of treatment. As regards the experimental group were also administered: Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, and Impulsive Behavior Scale. No statistically significant differences in the general psychopathological state, emotion regulation or impulsivity were found when comparing the groups. However, patients enrolled in the e-Estesia intervention had significantly less relapses and better indicators of treatment compliance than the control group. Considering these results, the use of complementary tools such as SG are useful for addressing GD
