Entropy-energy inequalities for qudit states

We establish a procedure to find the extremal density matrices for any finite Hamiltonian of a qudit system. These extremal density matrices provide an approximate description of the energy spectra of the Hamiltonian. In the case of restricting the extremal density matrices by pure states, we show that the energy spectra of the Hamiltonian is recovered for $d=2$ and $3$. We conjecture that by means of this approach the energy spectra can be recovered for the Hamiltonian of an arbitrary finite qudit system. For a given qudit system Hamiltonian, we find new inequalities connecting the mean value of the Hamiltonian and the entropy of an arbitrary state. We demonstrate that these inequalities take place for both the considered extremal density matrices and generic ones.Comment: 12 pages, 4 figures Accepted for publication in Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretica

Qubit representation of qudit states: correlations and state reconstruction

A method to establish a qubit decomposition of a general qudit state is presented. This new representation allows a geometrical depiction of any qudit state in the Bloch sphere. Additionally, we show that the nonnegativity conditions of the qudit state imply the existence of quantum correlations between the qubits which compose it. These correlations are used to define new inequalities which the density matrices components must satisfy. The importance of such inequalities in the reconstruction of a qudit state is addressed. As an example of the general procedure the qubit decomposition of a qutrit system is shown, which allows a classification of the qutrit states by fixing their invariants ${\rm Tr}(\hat{\rho}^2)$, ${\rm Tr}(\hat{\rho}^3)$.Comment: Accepted in Quantum Information Processing journa

ANALGESIA PREVENTIVA: USO DE DEXTROMETORFANO VIA ORAL E INFILTRACION CON LIDOCAINA SIMPLE PARA CONTROL DE DOLOR POSTOPERATORIO EN PACIENTES SOMETIDOS A CIRUGIA ABDOMINAL

El presente trabajo fue de realizado en el Hospital de la Cruz Roja Mexicana desde el 1 de marzo de 2010 hasta el 30 de agosto de 2010, con un universo, reflejado en el paciente quirúrgicos con ASAI-ASAII, con una muestra de 32 pacientes para cirugía de abdomen. Se dividieron en dos grupos: En el grupo I (Grupo Control) con 16 pacientes y en el grupo II con 16 pacientes. La analgesia en el posquirúrgico se valoro con dos escalas de dolor las cuales destacaron en el lapso de 24 horas en diferentes horas al ingreso a la sala de recuperación y luego a las 4, 8,16 y 24 horas. En el lapso de 24 horas El grupo 2 alcanzo EVA 6 en un 37.5% y el grupo 1 manejo hasta EVA 3 en un 31.25%. La desviación estándar en el grupo 1 alcanzo 0.23 y el grupo 2 alcanzo 5, en un punto crítico
