Individual Creative Potential, Its Development and Fostering in Higher Education
In this article, the author analyzes the ways in which institutions of higher education may foster the development of creative potential of the individuals. Modernization of the Russian education system increased the relevance of objective markers used to assess the quality of education received by the graduate students who are supposed to acquire relevant skills to further their professional creative activity. The purpose of article is to define the components of an individual’s creative potential and the ways in which we can foster its development in universities.
Keywords: creative potential, personal qualities, competence, culture, education, pedagogical technologie
Adaptation of NEMO-LIM3 model for multigrid high resolution Arctic simulation
High-resolution regional hindcasting of ocean and sea ice plays an important
role in the assessment of shipping and operational risks in the Arctic Ocean.
The ice-ocean model NEMO-LIM3 was modified to improve its simulation quality
for appropriate spatio-temporal resolutions. A multigrid model setup with
connected coarse- (14 km) and fine-resolution (5 km) model configurations was
devised. These two configurations were implemented and run separately. The
resulting computational cost was lower when compared to that of the built-in
AGRIF nesting system. Ice and tracer boundary-condition schemes were modified
to achieve the correct interaction between coarse- and fine grids through a
long ice-covered open boundary. An ice-restoring scheme was implemented to
reduce spin-up time. The NEMO-LIM3 configuration described in this article
provides more flexible and customisable tools for high-resolution regional
Arctic simulations
THE HIGHER EDUCATION IN MODERN RUSSIA AS INSTITUTE OF CULTURAL TRANSFER AND TRANSFORMATION
[EN] The problem of changes in modern Russian education is analyzed in the article. Modernization of the Russian education system staticized questions of a ratio of traditions and innovations in education, about maintaining parity of training and education. The aerticle’s purpose is to define the mechanism of implementation of education in the system of modern Russian education as traditions of culture (2014-2017). The research of the relation of scientific and pedagogical workers, students, administrative and managerial personnel to the matter influences effectiveness of their activity. Extent of consent with this or that point of view staticizes the potential of communities of education that appears in the form of the social capital. Authors emphasize value of an educational role of institute of education as culture translator as in the course of education, comprehension of the world of people gets own perception of this world, the system of estimates of this world, the system of coordinates, including valuable. The cultural background which the person perceives in the course of education gives the chance already more multilaterally to perceive also modern reality, and itself in this realityhttp://ocs.editorial.upv.es/index.php/HEAD/HEAD18Narkhova, E.; Narkhov, D.; Kalyuzhnaya, E. Draft genome sequences of gammaproteobacterial methanotrophs isolated from lake washington sediment.
The genomes of Methylosarcina lacus LW14(T) (=ATCC BAA-1047(T) = JCM 13284(T)), Methylobacter sp. strain 21/22, Methylobacter sp. strain 31/32, Methylomonas sp. strain LW13, Methylomonas sp. strain MK1, and Methylomonas sp. strain 11b were sequenced and are reported here. All the strains are obligately methanotrophic bacteria isolated from the sediment of Lake Washington
Surrogate-Assisted Evolutionary Generative Design Of Breakwaters Using Deep Convolutional Networks
In the paper, a multi-objective evolutionary surrogate-assisted approach for
the fast and effective generative design of coastal breakwaters is proposed. To
approximate the computationally expensive objective functions, the deep
convolutional neural network is used as a surrogate model. This model allows
optimizing a configuration of breakwaters with a different number of structures
and segments. In addition to the surrogate, an assistant model was developed to
estimate the confidence of predictions. The proposed approach was tested on the
synthetic water area, the SWAN model was used to calculate the wave heights.
The experimental results confirm that the proposed approach allows obtaining
more effective (less expensive with better protective properties) solutions
than non-surrogate approaches for the same time
