In Western cultures, Death is not among the favorite topics. Nevertheless, how should professionals who deal with Death on a daily basis behave? What meaning does Death have to them? This study consists of a survey on scientific literature about the referred subject in nursing education. Using a qualitative method, a documentary exploratory study was performed, characterized by a survey over a five-year period. The following keywords were used: Nursing Professor and Student, Death and Dying. Twelve articles were located and comprised three categories: Nursing students and dealing with death every day; The nursing professor dealing with death every day and the teaching skills; Academic education providing support for a critical-reflexive view about death-dying. In conclusion, there is o preparation for nursing students on the referred theme. Changing the current situation is only possible with greater investments and if further studies are performed.

Objective: to show the factors that lead to (dis)satisfaction and (de)motivation in the work of nursing professionals in the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: qualitative study, developed virtually, with professionals from nursing teams. Data was processed using the software Interface de R pour Analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires and analyzed according to Thematic Analysis. Results: 72 workers participated. 45 (62.5%) stated to be satisfied and 46 (63.9%) to be motivated for work. The text segments were separated into four classes, each showing a factor that interfered in work (dis)satisfaction and (de)motivation. Conclusion: factors that intervene in satisfaction and motivation were mostly associated with patient recovery and helping one another. Among the factors that impacted on dissatisfaction and demotivation, the lack of needed supplies and work overload stood out. Contributions to practice: we identified needs and strategies relevant to improve the work environment

Livestock production in pastures has advantages over other production systems. Generally, the grass is the most economically viable food for feeding to ruminants. The momba?a is a cultivar of Panicum maximum native to Africa, this cultivar has developed satisfactorily in more intensive management systems and high stocking rates. However, to ensure animal productivity, forage physiology must be respected with the aid of input output heights appropriate to each species

Biodiversity loss is one of the main challenges of our time,1,2 and attempts to address it require a clear un derstanding of how ecological communities respond to environmental change across time and space.3,4 While the increasing availability of global databases on ecological communities has advanced our knowledge of biodiversity sensitivity to environmental changes,5–7 vast areas of the tropics remain understudied.8–11 In the American tropics, Amazonia stands out as the world’s most diverse rainforest and the primary source of Neotropical biodiversity,12 but it remains among the least known forests in America and is often underrepre sented in biodiversity databases.13–15 To worsen this situation, human-induced modifications16,17 may elim inate pieces of the Amazon’s biodiversity puzzle before we can use them to understand how ecological com munities are responding. To increase generalization and applicability of biodiversity knowledge,18,19 it is thus crucial to reduce biases in ecological research, particularly in regions projected to face the most pronounced environmental changes. We integrate ecological community metadata of 7,694 sampling sites for multiple or ganism groups in a machine learning model framework to map the research probability across the Brazilian Amazonia, while identifying the region’s vulnerability to environmental change. 15%–18% of the most ne glected areas in ecological research are expected to experience severe climate or land use changes by 2050. This means that unless we take immediate action, we will not be able to establish their current status, much less monitor how it is changing and what is being lostinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
