Study the relationship between vitamin D levels and the amount of IgE in adults with allergic disease in Tehran
Study of relationship between serum vitamin D level and IgE in allergic children
Some properties of cumulative Tsallis entropy
The cumulative entropy is an information measure which is alternative to the differential entropy. Indeed, the cumulative entropy of a random lifetime X can be expressed as the expectation of its mean inactivity time evaluated at X. In this paper we propose a new generalized cumulative entropy based on Tsallis entropy (CTE) and its dynamic version (DCTE). We study some properties and characterization results for this measure
On dynamic mutual information for bivariate lifetimes
We consider dynamic versions of the mutual information of lifetime
distributions, with focus on past lifetimes, residual lifetimes and mixed
lifetimes evaluated at different instants. This allows to study multicomponent
systems, by measuring the dependence in conditional lifetimes of two components
having possibly different ages. We provide some bounds, and investigate the
mutual information of residual lifetimes within the time-transformed
exponential model (under both the assumptions of unbounded and truncated
lifetimes). Moreover, with reference to the order statistics of a random
sample, we evaluate explicitly the mutual information between the minimum and
the maximum, conditional on inspection at different times, and show that it is
distribution-free. Finally, we develop a copula-based approach aiming to
express the dynamic mutual information for past and residual bivariate
lifetimes in an alternative way.Comment: 19 pages, 3 figure
Optimized Implementation of Memristor-Based Full Adder by Material Implication Logic
Recently memristor-based applications and circuits are receiving an increased
attention. Furthermore, memristors are also applied in logic circuit design.
Material implication logic is one of the main areas with memristors. In this
paper an optimized memristor-based full adder design by material implication
logic is presented. This design needs 27 memristors and less area in comparison
with typical CMOS-based 8-bit full adders. Also the presented full adder needs
only 184 computational steps which enhance former full adder design speed by 20
percent.Comment: International Conference on Electronics Circuits and Systems (ICECS),

How much Fisher information is contained in record values and their concomitants in the presence of inter-record times?
It is shown that, although the distribution of inter-record time does not depend on the parent distribution, Fisher information increases when inter-record times are included. The general results concern different classes of bivariate distributions and propose a comparison study of the Fisher information. This study is done in situations in which the univariate counterpart of the underlying bivariate family belongs to a general continuous parametric family and its wellknown subclasses such as location-scale and shape families, exponential family and proportional (reversed) hazard model. We derived some explicit formulas for the additional information of record time given records and their concomitants (bivariate records) for some classes of bivariate distributions. Some common distributions are considered as examples for illustrations and are classified according to this criterion. A simulation study and a real data example from bivariate normal distribution are considered to study the relative efficiencies of estimator based on bivariate record values and inter-record times with respect to the corresponding estimator based on iid sample of the same size and bivariate records only
