    DESAIN DIDAKTIS PEMBELAJARAN PECAHAN DI SMP NEGERI 1 NARMADA KABUPATEN LOMBOK BARAT

    Pecahan adalah salah satu konsep yang cukup penting, tetapi menjadi masalah dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMP, terlebih-lebih pada masa Pandemi Covid-19. Berbagai jenis penelitian dilakukan, tetapi tidak banyak yang menggunakan didactical design research sebagai pilihan. Padahal, desain tersebut cukup relevan karena berdasarkan pada dua paradigma, yaitu interpretif (mengidentifikasi jenis hambatan belajar yang siswa alami) dan kritis (memberikan alternatif solusi desain didaktis dalam bentuk modul pembelajaran bagi siswa, guru, dan orang tua). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa, guru, dan orang tua di SMP Negeri 1 Narmada Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Sekolah tersebut tergolong favorit, tetapi masih ditemukan siswa yang mengalami masalah dalam pembelajaran pecahan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi yang komprehensip tentang desain didaktis dalam pembelajaran pecahan di SMP Negeri 1 Narmada Kabupaten Lombok Barat, khususnya selama pembelajaran matematika jarak jauh. Peneliti merupakan instrumen utama karena didactical design research menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Beberapa instrumen tambahan juga digunakan, seperti modul pembelajaran hipotesis, tes pemahaman pecahan, pedoman wawancara, angket, lembar observasi, jurnal penelitian, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa terindikasi mengalami hambatan belajar dengan jenis ontogenic, epistemological, dan didactical. Modul terdiri atas beberapa kegiatan, seperti Ayo Menebak, Ayo Membaca, Ayo Mencari (Situasi Aksi), Ayo Bercerita (Situasi Formulasi), Ayo Menyimpulkan (Situasi Validasi), Ayo Berlatih (Situasi Institusionalisasi), dan Refleksiku. Setelah implementasi ada beberapa revisi modul, seperti redaksi kalimat, masalah, dan pendekatan dalam menyelesaikan masalah, serta masih ditemukan bahwa siswa mengalami ontogenic obstacle. Meskipun, ada indikasi siswa tidak mengalami hambatan belajar karena tidak memiliki cukup waktu dalam belajar. Kata kunci: Pecahan, didactical design research, modul pembelajaran hipotesis. Fractions are a somewhat important concept, but they become a problem in learning mathematics in junior high schools, especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Various types of research were carried out, but not many used didactical design research as an option. The design is quite relevant because it is based on two paradigms, namely interpretive (identifying the types of learning barriers that students experience) and critical (providing alternative didactic design solutions in learning modules for students, teachers, and parents). The participants in this study were students, teachers, and parents at SMP Negeri 1 Narmada, West Lombok Regency. The school is classified as a favorite, but students still have problems learning fractions. Therefore, this study aims to obtain a comprehensive description of the didactic design in learning fractions at SMP Negeri 1 Narmada, West Lombok Regency, especially during distance learning mathematics. The researcher is the main instrument because didactical design research uses a qualitative approach. Several additional instruments were used, such as hypothesis learning modules, fraction comprehension tests, interview guides, questionnaires, observation sheets, research journals, and study documentation. The study results indicate that students are indicated to experience learning obstacles with ontogenic, epistemological, and didactical types. The module consists of several activities, such as Let’s Guess, Let’s Read, Let’s Find (Action Situation), Let’s Tell a Story (Formulating Situation), Let’s Conclude (Validation Situation), Let’s Practice (Institutionalization Situation), and My Reflection. After implementation, there were several module revisions, such as sentence redaction, problems, and approaches to solving problems, and it was still found that students experienced ontogenic obstacles. Although, there are indications that students do not experience learning obstacles because they do not have enough time to study.     Students Mathematics Learning Achievement from Mathematics Teacher Performance and Principal Managerial Competencies Point of View

    Principals and teachers are two important elements that must be at the forefront of improving the quality of students in the school. Do these two things affect learning achievement? It is what the researchers answered in this study. Therefore,this study aims to describe the influence of mathematics teacher performance and principal managerial competence on student mathematics learning achievement. The approach in this study is a quantitative (survey). The population was all mathematics teachers and public high school students in Central Lombok, about 793people. Using the purposive sampling technique obtained a sample of this study were all mathematics teachers in one of the public high schools in Central Lombok, totaling 187 people. The instruments used were mathematics teacher performance and principals managerial competency questionnaires, and computer-based national exam tests to measure student mathematics learning achievement. Data analysis was performed using a regression test, namely the t-test and the F-test, to see the effect of mathematics teacher performance and principal managerial competence (individually and together). The results showed that mathematics teacher performance affected mathematics learning achievement with a t-value of 16.295, and principal managerial competence affected mathematics learning achievement with a t-value of 18.831. Furthermore, mathematics teacher performance and principal managerial competence influence student mathematics learning achievement of public senior high school students in Central Lombok with an F-value of 211.482

    Model desain pembelajaran (MDP) dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah rancangan pembelajaran matematika yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Rancangan tersebut meliputi rancangan tujuan pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran, bahan ajar yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran. MDP terdiri atas beberapa komponen, yaitu peserta didik, tujuan pembelajaran, analisis pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran, bahan ajar, dan penilaian belajar. MDP, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika memiliki beberapa fungsi, yaitu menjadikan peserta didik sebagai fokus dalam  pembelajaran matematika; menciptakan pembelajaran matematika yang efektif, efisien, dan menarik; mendukung koordinasi antara desainer dan mereka yang menginstruksikan; memfasilitasi diseminasi;  dan memfasilitasi kesesuaian antara tujuan, aktivitas, dan penilaian dalam pembelajaran matematika. Adapun jenis MDP matematika meliputi: MDP berorientasi kelas (Model ASSURE), MDP berorientasi sistem (Model ADDIE), MDP berorientasi produk (Model Hannafin & Peck), MDP prosedural (Model Dick & Carey), dan MDP melingkar (Model Kemp)

    Parental Obstacles During Distance Learning Mathematics in Indonesia: A Phenomenology Study

    The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has caused an inevitable shift from face-to-face to distance learning, a phenomenon known as panic-gogy. Parents are the main students’ companions while studying at home. Although various studies show the constraints in this condition, few employ phenomenology that accurately describes people’s experience regarding a situation. Therefore, this study aimed to describe parents’ experience during distance learning mathematics using a phenomenology approach. The participants comprised 71 35-50-year-old parents of junior high school students. A Google form with open-ended questions was used as the main instrument in data collection. Data were analyzed using NVivo-12-assisted thematic analysis in coding, while source triangulation was used to strengthen the data trustworthiness. The results showed that students did not learn the content well due to poor explanations by the teacher. Furthermore, they did not study well at home due to signal constraints and quota limitations. This study recommends blended learning by combining limited face-to-face and online learning

    Analysis of Student Learning Barriers in Fractional Multiplication: A Hermeneutics Phenomenology Study in Higher Education

    Multiplication of fractions is one of the operations on fractions that tends to be easy, but it becomes a problem for students. Only a little previous research has examined the multiplication of fractions and the factors that cause this problem at the tertiary level. This study aims to describe the factors that cause problems in terms of the types of learning barriers that students experience. The research design is hermeneutics phenomenology. The participants in this study were 15 students aged 18-25 years, 7 boys and 8 girls, 9 students majoring in natural sciences during high school, and 6 students from social studies majors. The researcher is the main instrument, with a fraction multiplication test consisting of 2 questions developed by NCTM and a semi-structured interview guide as an additional instrument. Data is processed using NVivo-12-assisted thematic analysis to simplify the coding process. The study revealed that students experienced more learning difficulties when working on non-routine fraction multiplication problems. For routine problems, students experience learning difficulties with the type of ontogenic obstacle that is psychological (not careful). For non-routine problems, students experience learning barriers with epistemological types because they rarely work on word problems, as well as ontogenic obstacles that are conceptual and psychological

    Pengolahan Hasil Asesmen dan Penyusunan Rapor untuk Sekolah Penggerak

    Sekolah Penggerak are schools that are required to implement the Kurikulum Merdeka. One obstacle that Sekolah Penggerak experienced in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka is the low competence of school principals and teachers in compiling and processing assessment results and report cards. Workshops are a relatively effective way of developing the competence of school principals and teachers. Therefore, this service aims to strengthen the competence of school principals and teachers regarding assessments and report cards through workshop activities. The workshop was also chosen because it involves direct interaction with participants through relevant worksheets. The participants of the workshop were eighteen people consisting of three junior high school principals, three high school principals, six teachers of the junior high school, and six teachers of the high school who were members learning committee. Workshop activities are carried out for eight lesson hours using worksheets from the government. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The dedication results show that the workshop activities are going well, especially the discussion activities. Although, the time allocation for activities tends to be more. In general, each school has been able to prepare assessments well, although it is still constrained in making criteria for achieving learning objectives. In addition, the assessment editor designed by the school still needs to be more optimal because there are still schools that compile an assessment rubric for that section. Likewise, when processing the assessment results, it was found that schools needed to be able to formulate a formula to determine student scores. In contrast to the previous results, when participants compiled report cards, information was obtained that all schools could prepare report cards properly, including in compiling descriptions related to student competency achievements.Sekolah Penggerak adalah sekolah yang diwajibkan untuk mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Salah satu kendala yang dialami Sekolah Penggerak dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka adalah rendahnya kompetensi kepala sekolah dan guru dalam menyusun dan mengolah hasil asesmen dan rapor. Workshop adalah salah satu cara yang cukup efektif dalam mengembangkan kompetensi kepala sekolah dan guru. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kompetensi kepala sekolah dan guru terkait asesmen dan rapor melalui kegiatan workshop. Workshop juga dipilih karena melibatkan interaksi langsung dengan peserta melalui pemanfaatan lembar kerja yang relevan. Peserta kegiatan workshop adalah 18 orang yang terdiri atas tiga orang kepala sekolah SMP, tiga orang kepala sekolah SMA, enam orang guru anggota komite pembelajaran SMP, dan enam orang guru anggota komite pembelajaran SMA. Kegiatan workshop dilaksanakan selama 8 JP dengan menggunakan lembar kerja yang berasal dari pemerintah. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan workshop berjalan dengan baik, khususnya pada kegiatan diskusi. Meskipun, alokasi waktu kegiatan cenderung menjadi lebih banyak. Secara umum, masing-masing sekolah sudah mampu menyusun asesmen dengan baik, meskipun masih terkendala dalam membuat kriteria ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Selain itu, redaksi asesmen yang dirancang sekolah masih belum optimal karena masih ada sekolah yang menyusun rubrik penilaian pada bagian tersebut. Begitupun pada saat pengolahan hasil asesmen, masih ditemukan sekolah yang belum bisa menyusun formula untuk menentukan nilai siswa. Berbeda dengan hasil sebelumnya, pada saat peserta menyusun rapor, diperoleh informasi bahwa semua sekolah mampu menyusun rapor dengan baik, termasuk dalam menyusun deskripsi terkait capaian kompetensi yang diperoleh siswa

    Dalam mengembangkan salah satu desa wisata, upaya pengembangan adalah merupakan salah satu upaya yang bisa ditempuh untuk memberdayakan masyarakat serta memacu untuk mengembangkan potensi desa yang mengarah pada peningkatan produktivitas masyarakat agar lebih mandiri. Nusa Tenggara Barat merupakan salah satu daerah destinasi wisata yang sangat terkenal di Indonesia bahkan dunia. Hal ini tergambar dari data kunjungan wisatawan ke NTB. Desa Pringgasela Selatan yang terletak di sebelah timur Pulau Lombok, tepatnya terletak di Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai usaha untuk mengembangkan sektor pariwisata dengan memanfaatkan potensi–potensi desa yang memang tersedia, guna mengembangkan desa wisata di desa Pringgasela Selatan.     Principal competency model development: Phenomenological design with coaching techniques in Sekolah Penggerak

    Sekolah Penggerak is one of the best episodes of the many Merdeka Belajar episodes. A separate curriculum known as Kurikulum Merdeka was prepared to support the program. The change in the principal’s competency model then became one of the unique phenomena in the curriculum change. The facts reveal that school principals cannot adapt quickly to this phenomenon, so this study aims to help school principals adapt more quickly to changes in competency models with coaching techniques. This study uses a phenomenological design because it wants to know the experiences that principals experience regarding the use of coaching techniques in responding to the phenomenon of changing competency models. The participants were three principals (51-55 years old) with 2-5 years of experience as principals. The instruments used are coaching questions developed in Sekolah Penggerak. Data is collected online through Google Meet and analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The study results then revealed that coaching techniques could  to assist school principals in developing a model of school leadership competence, especially self-development and other people’s development, as well as learning leadership. This study also hopes that the principal will actively involve parents or guardians of students as mentors and learning resources

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pendekatan pembelajaran (problem solving dan problem posing) dan keefektifan pendekatan problem posing dibandingkan dengan pendekatan problem solving pada pembelajaran logika ditinjau dari aspek prestasi belajar matematika, kemampuan metakognitif, dan sikap siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran matematika di SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan pretest-posttest nonequivalent group design. Populasi dan sampelnya adalah siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lingsar dan siswa Kelas X-1 dan X-2.Untuk menguji keefektifan pendekatan pembelajaran (problem solving dan problem posing), data dianalisis menggunakan uji one sample t-test. Untuk menguji bahwa pendekatan problem posing lebih efektif daripada pendekatan problem solving, data dianalisis menggunakan MANOVA yang dilanjutkan dengan uji t-Benferroni. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran (problem solving dan problem posing) efektif dan pendekatan problem posing lebih efektif daripada pendekatan problem solving pada pembelajaran logika ditinjau dari aspek prestasi belajar matematika, kemampuan metakognitif, dan sikap siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran matematika di SMA
