The article demonstrates the author's method for cost and structure optimisation of created investment resources of an entity based on financial leverage tools for effective financing of real investments in case of development of an investment strategy for an entity development, namely: - Criteria of investments financing from line items of conservative, compromise, and aggressive approaches are determined using in the scheme of financing owner's capital, and also short-term and long-term loan fund capital; - Step-by-step creation of the financial performances considering industry specifics, scale of functioning of economic agents' activities is offered. Effective activities of the entities in long terms, ensuring high rates of their development and competitiveness increase in the conditions of market economy, are substantially determined by the level of their investment activity and the range of investing activities. One of the main tasks of forming the investment resources is the optimisation of their structure taking into account the profitability level and the investment risk. The optimisation of a capital structure by criterion of financial profitability level maximisation (profitability of the owner's capital) is reached by means of financial leverage mechanism. Profitability level maximisation for the capital considering the set level of financial risk is performed through the financial leverage, showing the use of borrowed funds by the entity. Carrying out complex calculations within the investment analysis with use of mechanisms of financial leverage allows determining the optimum structure of the created investment resources providing maximisation of the profitability level. © 2015, Mediterranean Center of Social and Educational Research. Objective: to evaluate the in vitro and in vivo effects of various infusion solutions on red blood cell rheology in the early posttraumatic period. Material and methods. The in vitro study assessed crystalloids, albumin, dextrans, modified gelatin, and different generations of hydroxyethyl starches (HES). The preparations were added to blood in a 1:10 dilution; before and after their addition, the values of erythrocyte aggregation and erythrocyte deformability were estimated. The in vivo study covered 59 patients with severe concomitant injury, who were divided into 3 groups: 1) those who received crystalloids only; 2) those who had crystalloids + 6% HES 130/0.42; 3) those who had crystalloids + gelofusine. The same parameters of red blood cell rheology were estimated as in the in vitro study. Results. Albumin, repolyglycan, and HES 130/0.42 were found to have the most pronounced disaggregatory effect in vitro. At the same time, polyglycan, gelofusine, and HES 450/0.7 in particular, enhanced erythrocyte aggregation. In vitro, albumin, HES 130/0.42, and HES 200/0.5 exerted the most beneficial effect on erythrocyte deformability whereas dextrans made the latter worse and HES 450/0.7 and gelofusine failed to have a considerable effect on it. The early posttraumatic period was marked by progressive erythrocyte hyperaggregation and phasic deformability changes. Significant microrheological disorders persisted in the patients on infusion therapy with crystalloid solutions only. Addition of HES 130/0.42 to infusion therapy improved the deformability of erythrocytes and lowered their aggregation. The use of gelofusine as a component of infusion therapy caused a moderate increase in erythrocyte aggregation. Key words: infusion therapy, erythrocyte deformability, erythrocyte aggregation

It has been shown that the influence of hormonal and non-hormonal therapy of menopausal syndrome upon immune profile may be variable, and the results of appropriate studies may be often contradictory. The aim of this work was to investigate the influence of hormonal and non-hormonal therapy in menopausal syndrome upon serum levels of some immunoregulatory proteins, i.e., alpha2-macroglobulin (a2-MG), pregnancy-associated alpha 2-glycoprotein (PAG), contents of some related cytokines (IL-6, IL-8, TNFα, IFNγ, IL-2) as well as VEGF amounts. Administration of menopausal hormone treatment and nonhormonal therapy was associated with reduced IL-6 levels in serum, regardless of treatment duration, or type of drug applied. We have found a statistically significant decrease of IL-8 serum levels in the course of dynamic monitoring in the women taking a menopausal hormone preparation containing 1 mg of 17β-estradiol and 5 mg dydrogesterone, and a non-hormonal drug containing genistein (60 mg) for 3-6 months. The levels of VEGF demonstrated high individual variability during therapy of menopausal syndrome. Serum concentrations of immunoregulatory a2-MG were stable in climacteric syndrome, and did not differ from normal values. However, the content of PAG, a known immunosuppressive protein, was increased 3-4 times in serum of 33-50% of the women receiving menopausal hormonal therapy, regardless of progestogen dose (5 or 10 mg dydrogesterone), and duration of its use. These findings suggest a need for individualized drug selection in order to minimize a risk of immunodeficiency conditions in the patients receiving hormone therapy of menopausal syndrome
