PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KERJASAMA DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BOLA TANGAN : studi eksperimen terhadap siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 24 Bandung, tahun ajaran 2016/2017

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap peningkatan kerjasama dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bola tangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Tempat penelitian di SMA Negeri 24 Bandung. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 yang kemudian dibagi menjadi dua yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, siswa diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian analisis data kerjasama diperoleh T hitung (8.496784) > T tabel (2,010) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima dan hasil pengujian analisis data hasil belajar diperoleh T hitung (8.4744986) > T tabel (2,010) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif learning tipe Student Team Achievment Division (STAD) terhadap peningkatan kerjasama dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bola tangan.;---The purpose of this research is to know the influence of cooperative learning model of type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) towards increased cooperation and student learning outcomes in learning handball. Customer satisfaction mediates the effect of product innovation and service quality on customer loyalty

This study aims to determine the effect of product innovation and service quality on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty at Honda motorcycle customers in Kampar Regency. Data collection was obtained through questionnaires collected from 105 consumers of Honda motorcycles in the Kampar Regency. The technique of sampling uses non-probability sampling and sample selection by purposive sampling. The data processing methods in this research are validity, reliability, the goodness of fit using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Amos, and path analysis using the Sobel test. This study found that product innovation and service quality significantly affected customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer loyalty. Product innovation and service quality have no direct effect on customer loyalty. Product innovation and service quality significantly affect customer loyalty through customer satisfaction

Narratives of Space in the Writing of Five Contemporary Canadian Women Writers of Italian Origin

The purpose of this essay is to analyze the English writing of five Canadian authors of Italian origin – Darlene Madott, Maria Ardizzi, Licia Canton, Rosanna Battigelli and Dorina Michelutti – in terms of how they represent personal and inner spaces as a meaningful focal point for interpreting and reflecting on the dislocated subject’s quest for identity. I will show how they use the idea of compensatory spaces as a literary strategy to portray personal, private or inner spaces to articulate their characters’ processes of accepting or resisting cultural hybridity and multiplicity. The works of fiction I consider here embody the shifting perception of inner or personal spaces in the characters’ lives, and how this defines their spatial relationships with the new country in different terms and at different stages of the migrant’s process of accepting his or her new country. My reading is based on Homi Bhabha’s notions of third space and cultural translation and Michel Foucault’s concept of heterotopic spaces; I define these as compensatory spaces, an idea also rooted in Foucault’s view that heterotopies of compensation represent differences that transcend dichotomies and are open to fluidity. In this paper, the idea of third space addresses the process of cultural translation – understood not only as the positive and dialogic creation of a hybridized subject, but also as a narrative of conflicting personal spaces that gives voice to experiences of cultural dislocation.This work was supported by a grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation between 2010 and 2014 (FFI2010–20989FILO)

Improved design of a DC-DC converter in residential solar photovoltaic system

With growing demand in renewable energy, solar photovoltaic (PV) technology is becoming more popular. A number of research has been carried out to increase the efficiency of the PV system. One of them is improving the Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) performance to ensure maximum solar energy extraction. This paper looks at buck type SMPS suitability for use in solar PV installed in residential houses. The main issues that affect the response from the output are identified. The work will utilise the LT SPICE software to carry out the simulation. The primary objective of the study is to design an improved converter controller which is more robust and is able to maintain constant output. The emphasis is on good efficiency, stability and low output voltage ripple. This could be achieved by using the current mode control (CMC) techniques – an alternative design to the voltage mode control technique (VMC). Results obtained via simulations reveal strong evidence of CMC superiority over the VMC
