Experimental characterization of Random Telegraph Noise in FDSOI technology and its application for security primitives

The shrinking of transistors and consequent decrease in operational voltage, specially for Ultra-Low Voltage (ULV) applications such as IoT, has driven current technology to be very sensitive to the effects of random telegraph noise (RTN), the result of trapping and detrapping of carriers in a transistor’s oxide trap. Such a source of noise is attractive for the implementation of security primitives due to its resilience to temperature and supply voltage variations. However, it stands out from other noise sources for its low speed. The use of FDSOI technology, through the ability of controlling body bias, can be the key to optimize RTN speed for such applications. In this project, an experimental characterization of RTN behavior in an FDSOI ROSC- based chip has been conducted to evaluate the potential application of such a technology in security primitives. Results show that FDSOI technology can be employed to significantly increase or decrease RTN speed and even compensate for the effect of supply voltage and temperature variations

Teoria d'homologia i teoremes de punt fix

Gutiérrez Marín[eng] We have done a study focused at the simplicial homology to acquire the tools needed to proof the fixed-point theorems of Brouwer and Lefschetz. Firstly, we have defined the basic concepts, like simplex, simplicial complex and simplicial approximation. Afterwards, we have studied the concepts chain of simplex and simplicial chain complex in order to reach to the homology groups. The intensive study of the properties of these groups allowed us to characterize topological spaces and finally proof the two fixed-point theorems previously mentioned

La poesia fonètica: entre el joc i la revolta

Els moviments d'avantguarda de principis del segle xx ens han llegat, diverses conquestes artístiques, tant en el camp plàstic com en el camp literari. L'esperit de revolta que va informar l'anomenada avantguarda històrica va propiciar un canvi en fa concepció de l'art i de l'artista i, amb el temps, ha aconseguit entronitzar una sèrie de troballes que en el seu moment van semblar a ulls dels crítics i del gran públic excessivament agosarades. Aquest fenomen és especialment visible en la poesia, on la influència d'algunes tècniques, com el dictat dels somnis o l'escriptura automàtica, encara es podrien apreciar avui dia

Sobre el sentit del poema 'Nabí'

A cinquanta anys ja de la publicació de la primera edició catalana del Nabí disposem de diversos treballs i estudis que aborden el poema des de perspectives múltiples. Aquesta tasca critica que ens precedeix, una tasca que en certs moments ha arribat a produir alguns conats de polèmica, ha incidit de manera insistent sobre la interpretació que calia fer d'una obra que aparentment només reprenia la vella llegenda bíblica del profeta Jonàs. L'objectiu d'aquest article s'inscriu en aquest afany d'interpretació d'una obra que, no sense motius, ha estat qualificada com una de les realitzacions poètiques més importants de la literatura catalana moderna
