The purpose of this study is to analyze the land rights over apartment units related to the right to ownership of apartments that can now be owned by foreign nationals. Ownership of land rights over flats does not fully adhere to the horizontal principle as stated in the UUPA. Because these rights can be owned by all ownership rights over flats. Flats can be given to anyone who qualifies as a land rights holder. The research shows that there are now many foreign nationals and foreign legal entities who own flats (apartments) in Indonesia. Both for business, investment and residential purposes. However, all actions of ownership of Sarusun, foreign citizens must still refer to the rules of law for foreign countries, as well as foreign legal entities. The ownership rules must still pay attention to the provisions of Act No. 5 of 1960 concerning Basic Regulations on Agrarian Principles (UUPA), Act No. 2 of 2011 concerning Flats, Act No. 11 of 2011 concerning Job Creation Rights, Government Regulation Number 18 of 2021 concerning Management Rights, Land Ownership Rights, Building Rights, Flat Units, and Land Registration as well as several other rules that are currently in effect

First principles based atomistic modeling of phase stability in PMN-xPT

We have performed molecular dynamics simulations using a shell model potential developed by fitting first principles results to describe the behavior of the relaxor-ferroelectric (1-x)PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3-xPbTiO3 (PMN-xPT) as function of concentration and temperature, using site occupancies within the random site model. In our simulations, PMN is cubic at all temperatures and behaves as a polar glass. As a small amount of Ti is added, a weak polar state develops, but structural disorder dominates, and the symmetry is rhombohedral. As more Ti is added the ground state is clearly polar and the system is ferroelectric, but with easy rotation of the polarization direction. In the high Ti content region, the solid solution adopts ferroelectric behavior similar to PT, with tetragonal symmetry. The ground state sequence with increasing Ti content is R-MB-O-MC-T. The high temperature phase is cubic at all compositions. Our simulations give the slope of the morphotropic phase boundaries, crucial for high temperature applications. We find that the phase diagram PMN-xPT can be understood within the random site model.Comment: 27 pages, 9 figure

Impact of Pseudomonas H6 surfactant on all external life cycle stages of the fish parasitic ciliate Ichthyophthirius multifiliis

Get PDF
A bacterial biosurfactant isolated from Pseudomonas (strain H6) has previously been shown to have a lethal effect on the oomycete Saprolegnia diclina infecting fish eggs. The present work demonstrates that the same biosurfactant has a strong in vitro antiparasitic effect on the fish pathogenic ciliate Ichthyophthirius multifiliis. Three life cycle stages (the infective theront stage, the tomont and the tomocyst containing tomites) were all susceptible to the surfactant. Theronts were the most sensitive showing 100% mortality in as low concentrations as 10 and 13 μg/ml within 30 min. Tomonts were the most resistant but were killed in concentrations of 100 μg/ml. Tomocysts, which generally are considered resistant to chemical and medical treatment, due to the surrounding protective cyst wall, were also sensitive. The surfactant, in concentrations of 10 and 13 μg/ml, penetrated the cyst wall and killed the enclosed tomites within 60 min. Rainbow trout fingerlings exposed to the biosurfactant showed no adverse immediate or late signs following several hours incubation in concentrations effective for killing the parasite. This bacterial surfactant may be further developed for application as an antiparasitic control agent in aquaculture

Get PDF
: Children and young adults (CYAs) with chronic conditions need to engage in self-care to improve their quality of life. This study aimed to retrieve the literature on instruments to assess self-care in CYAs living with chronic conditions and evaluate the psychometric proprieties of the instruments retrieved. A systematic literature review was conducted on six databases to identify peer-reviewed papers that described or used an evaluation instrument of self-care in CYAs with chronic conditions. Twenty-three articles describing 11 instruments of self-care were identified. Five instruments (45.45%) were developed for specific diseases, while six (54.54%) for various chronic illnesses. Most of the instruments were focused on treatment adherence within self-care maintenance (i.e., behaviors to maintain illness stability), excluding the monitoring of clinical parameters or the management of exacerbations. This review provides an overview of available instruments that measure self-care in CYAs with chronic conditions, which health professionals could use for patient education
